Venue Highlights
The best wedding that took place so far at the Engine Works is such a difficult question!
All of our weddings are amazing and I'm not just saying that. The aesthetic and ethos of The Engine Works is to tell a story and for our weddings it is the story of each couple - every single one is different.
Get involved and make it personal. Hire a stylist company to create your vision or enlist the help of friends and family to add some personal touches. That is what makes the day special and emulate your personality as a couple.
My favourite personal touch was a back drop that the bride had designed and the groom created out of MDF. It was used for the ceremony and then for the speeches - I'm sure it now has another purpose in the couple's home.
Unique, Fantastic ,Outstanding, Enchanting, Distinct [6th Magic (Scots adjective 😂)]
There are two:
From the top of the canal steps - the couple walking down or looking down at the full wedding party gathered on the terrace.
From under the crane during the couple's first dance. The couple in the forefront with all their guests behind them.
We can't say!
Toasted brioche loaf stacked with creamy brie, smoked salmon and fruit jam.
Ice cream.
The Royce crane designed by automotive royalty, Sir Henry Royce.
The fact that the building has been so beautifully restored with attention to detail. I love it.
