The East Horton Golf Club

We got married at East Horton on the 18th July 2024. It was honestly the best day of our lives and we could not thank Shelby and the rest of the team who had helped us made our day so magical. We booked East Horton back in 2021 for 2024, some venues came across a bit judgemental about this but Shelby made us feel so supported and was with us the whole journey. All of our questions were answered with confidence and just everything went so smoothly without a single worry. Our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was without the wonderful staff. Also the food was to die for, we knew the food was great at East Horton but us and our guests were completely blown away. We will always be so grateful for all the help we've had for our special day, it was completely worth the wait and a day we will never forget. Mr and Mrs Whitham

We truly had the most amazing wedding. East Horton have won many awards and we can see why. The atmosphere, attention to detail, the beautiful setting and the most organised wedding coordinator Shelby had what we want to a tee. Thank you simply isn’t enough. Mr & Mrs Whitfield.

Good morning Rebecca, Firstly I just cannot thank you enough for immense support and assistance throughout Saturday. Whatever we needed you were there to help. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator! We feel so blessed and lucky that we were able to have you by our side on the day. It was the most perfect day and it wouldn’t have been so perfect if we didn’t have you there organising and decorating so beautifully. We will leave the most wonderful review once we return from our little holiday, I just needed to let you know how much we appreciated you.

We had our wedding day at East Horton on the 15th of September 2023. We were lucky enough to get married in their beautiful outside area and everything on the day went perfectly. From our first viewing of the venue to booking to the day it self the staff at East Horton were amazing. Nothing was ever so much trouble and they were always super happy to help out with any questions and offer suggestions and advice when needed. The lead up the wedding was so much less stressful because of the team .

Me and my (now) husband visited the wedding showcase at East Horton in October 2022. We had been engaged only a couple of weeks and this was the first venue we viewed and we went into it with no real ideas. It was excited and scary all at the same time. All the vendors there though were so friendly and completely understood when we said that we were brand new to this. There was no pressure and we were given information to consider. We then has a meeting with wedding coordinator Taura. She made us feel so comfortable. She sat down with us for 45 minutes and went through everything with us and managed to give us rough quotes based on what we had discussed. She gave us time and did not rush us. She advised us on different things and it was clear she was not just trying to get us to opt for the most expensive options! We viewed another venue as we did not just want to go for the first one but at the other venue we were made to feel like we were just another couple. Nothing about it felt personal and so it was an easy decision to make to choose East Horton. It also helped that it is a lovely venue. After we booked Taura was so helpful. I asked so many questions and she always told me no question was a stupid question. I felt totally supported. Taura went on maternity a few months prior to the wedding and we were handed over to Rebecca who was equally fantastic. We had some issues in the lead up (nothing to do with the venue) and Rebecca was so understanding and I knew she was only on the other end of the phone. On the day of the wedding she was always there on the sidelines ready and waiting to deal with any questions or issues (there were none). She even helped when my veil wasn't staying in properly! She honestly was like a fairy godmother that day making sure that everything went smoothly. If there were any problems- I wasn't made aware of them! I could go on forever but I honestly don't believe I could have found a better wedding team or a better venue. Simply amazing!! Rebecca/Shelby were extremely personable and attentive during the whole wedding planning process. They are both excellent at their job! The staff at East Horton done an amazing job with our wedding, it was everything and more that we could have ever wished for!! The attention to detail was incredible. They took care of everything and helped keep our day stress free! Everyone commented on how good the food was and how accommodating the staff were. We could not recommend this venue enough!!
