Hidden within this historic Grade-II listed building is an enchanting Garden Chapel like no other. With huge antique doors, floor to ceiling mirrors, and ancient cascading willow tree deliver a truly magical and fairy-tale experience. Amazing from start to finish Amazing from start to finish
From arriving at the Croft for our first viewing of the venue we just knew that the Croft was for us. We went looking around other venues but they simply didn’t have the feel the Croft gave us. We had regular updates from the Croft’s team an on the day of the wedding they simply couldn’t do enough for us. I always recommend the Croft as it was such a great value in price and the team go above and beyond. And not to forget how gorgeous it is in the venue the isle you walk down, wedding breakfast room, to the bedrooms there isn’t a thing you could knock about it. I’d like to just say thank you again for giving me and my now husband the most unforgettable day. Literally everyone commented on how amazing the day was and we simply couldn’t have done it without you. Absolutely amazing venue, couldn’t fault the area, the hotel or the staff. From start to finish, absolutely beautifully managed. Our master of ceremonies Ethan was amazing, really put us at ease! The team on the day were absolutely phenomenal! Jess and her team made sure everything ran so smoothly and made sure we both didnt have anything to worry about! The best day of my lifeThe best day of my life
I can’t put into words how magical my wedding day was. Filled with smiles, laughter, fun and tears (happy of course), it is a day that will hold the most special place in my heart. A lot of that is down to the amazing team at the Croft. Up until the day, Sarah was fantastic! She was always on hand to support and I felt so comfortable to discuss anything from wedding nerves to the menu choices for the hundredth time!! On the day Aaron, the master of ceremonies, was absolutely unbelievable. The day ran so smoothly. One of my biggest wishes for my wedding day was to not have to worry about anything and to just completely immerse myself into the day and thanks to the Croft team I could do that! I will forever be grateful to the team for going above and beyond! I can’t put into words how magical my wedding day was. Me and my husband had our wedding at The Croft Hotel in Sept 2025. We cannot thank the team enough, we had the most perfect day! The planning was amazing and the help from Paige and all the ladies on site who helped us on the day. Our guests said the venue was beautiful and food was fantastic! We had our Reception, buffet and ceilidh at The Croft and we can tell you that we had an absolutely brilliant time. Wonderful. Memorable. Fun! The Blessing was at Croft Church (highly recommend plus it's a beautiful space with great photo opportunities) and then we walked acros the road and had a Receiving Line at the Pink Door followed by a drinks reception in the main bar area. The hotel's gorgeous MC then conducted our guests through the hotel's own Chapel to the Ballroom where we spent the rest of the day. You are given quite a lot of freedom as to how you want to set out the main room which was something we really appreciated. We had brought our flowers across from the church and we were allowed to move items around to display these effectively. It was a lovely sunny day so many of our guests opted to use the very comfortable outdoor seating area throughout the day. With regards to food we chose to have a buffet during the day and then platters and churros in the evening. The company which owns the hotel - The Apartment Group - along with the hotel staff are very amenable to the set menus being adapted and so we and our guests had a lovely selection of dishes to choose from, both hot and cold. We did not meet the chefs or kitchen staff but we had cause to go into the kitchen later in the evening and it was spotless. Every interaction we had with members of staff at the hotel was a joy. Whether they were a member of the reception team (always and every time friendly), working at the bar (what a pressured role that is), evening staff (so sweet and kind), waiting staff (thoughtful to everyone), the cleaning staff (smiley and ready to help), and the night porter (who is probably the unsung hero of the place!) not one person made us ever feel like we were a nuisance. We want to particularly name check Jess, who was incredibly patient with us at all times from the moment we made our first enquiry until we checked out the day after our bash, and our lovely wedding planner, Emily, who responded to every email, every phone call. We could not have been looked after any better and they constantly went above and beyond to make sure our day was special to us. At no point did we feel we were just another wedding, yet another bride and groom. Croft Hotel prides itself on offering affordable luxury. We had a budget (one quite a bit below the quoted national average) and 80+ guests. Croft Hotel is right to pride itself on this. The only thing to be aware of is that it marks up alcohol and you cannot get around it by bringing in your own wine. We should have saved ourself the hassle and extra cost of time and over-ordering and gone with their choices rather than paying corkage. Every single thing was perfect! The lovely staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful and just lovely to be around all day. They really helped us feel so calm and like we didn't have to think about one thing on the day because they had it sorted. I wanted it to last a week just an unbelievable day. The venue is stunning! The photos outside the pink door and in the garden are everything and more (Sophotogenic). We had beer pong, churros, a magic mirror and a fantastic band! (Soden and sons) and they set everything up perfectly. The drinks were flowing and Ethan really helped to bring the atmosphere and get everyone up and in the party spirit. Truly an unforgettable day and that walk down the aisle is just phenomenal I couldn't recommend it more they are amazing.Every single thing was perfect! Where do I even begin with The Croft… It didn’t take us long at all to fall in love with this venue. The staff and our coordinator Eva, from booking through to our big day and beyond, were all outstanding so we would like to say a huge thank you to them all for making our day perfect. Our day was flawless and we wouldn’t have changed a single thing. The venue is beautiful and doesn’t need anything extra, every single detail has been considered. The food is also delicious! It was everything we could have wished for and more.
