Finished to the highest specification, it has an outside decking terrace, glazed windows to one side overlooking the stunning garden, integrated speech and music sound system, spectacular decorative lighting including pin-spots, starlight ceiling and a dance floor and stage. This stunning, five-acre octagonal Walled Garden is set within the beautiful grounds of Luton Hoo Estate, the Estate sits conveniently on the border of Harpenden and Luton in the county of Bedfordshire, with easy access from the M1 and M25. The garden was established in the 1770s by John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute, friend and advisor to George III and consultant in the planning of Kew Gardens. For nearly two centuries it was both a botanical garden and the production centre for the Estate's fruit, vegetable and cut flower needs. Included within the venue hire fee: • Exclusive hire of ‘The Conservatory Venue’ and Walled Garden from 10am until midnight on the day of the event • Venue manager • Duty technician • Stage, dance floor and PA system for speeches and/or background music • Atmospheric lighting, to include pin spots to tables • LED colour changing uplighters around the room • Disco system to include twin CD player & dance floor lights • Cool air system or heating • Banqueting furniture to include round tables, trestle tables and chairs for up to 250 guests • Reception seating to include 4 sofas and 2 coffee tables • Bar unit • Wooden garden furniture • Toilets • Cloakroom area including coat rails and hangers • Ample car parking with an attendant

With our pricing range this do vary on the Season the the day of the week, what's included within our hire is: Exclusive Hire of the Conservatory and garden from 10am - midnight for up to 400 guests. Including in-built toilets, fully equipped kitchen and cloakroom space. Heating and cooling system. A dedicated venue manager to guide you through. A production manager and a security team for the duration of your event. A fully functional bar with fridges. Chairs and 5ft round tables for up to 400 guests. Staging and dancefloor. Easels and sofas. Production Car Parking The Gardens Atmospheric lighting including LED colour changing uplighters around the room. Beautiful Starlight ceiling. Integrated sound system for speeches and DJ. Parking for up to 100 cars. Cars can be left overnight. Taxi drop off point. What does the venue hire include?

The hire fee for The Conservatory includes the exclusive use of the venue and surrounding South walled garden, as well as a stage, dancefloor, PA and disco system. Also included are banqueting chairs for up to 400 guests ( inside only), 32 5ft round tables , 6 6ft round tables and 12 6ft trestle tables. The Venue also includes cloak rails, starlight ceiling, reception furniture, an on-site tech and your very own venue manager.

What is the booking procedure?

Provisional bookings can be made without and obligation, however we will only hold this for 7days. to confirm your chosen date a signed contract must be returned to us along with a deposit of £2,000+VAT (£2,400 Inc VAT). 50% of the remaining balance is then due 6 months prior to the event and the final balance plus a £1,000 refundable damage deposit is due 2 months before the event. Please speak with a member of our team if you wish to create and alternative payment plan.

Can we choose our own vendors?

Yes. The Conservatory allows our clients to choose their own caterers and suppliers for their event, as long as they comply with our health and safety regulations. we have a list of preferred caterers which, if chosen, may result in a discount on the venue hire fee. Our team also works alongside various other suppliers, who we are more than happy to recommend, should you wish.

Do you have onsite accommodation?

The Conservatory does not offer any on-site accommodation, However, we are situated 10 minutes from Luton Airport and its surrounding hotels.

Can I hire the venue for half a day?

The Conservatory hire is based on a full day from 10am until midnight, and for exclusive use. Therefore, whether you choose to utilize the venue for a couple of hours or a full day, you will still incur the same venue hire fees, we may be flexible on this, if the date is off-peak.

Is the venue licensed for Civil Ceremonies

No, the venue is not licensed for Civil Ceremonies, however religious ceremonies and blessings can take place either inside or outside on the front lawn.

When can our Caterers and suppliers access The Conservatory?

Our standard access time for all suppliers is 10am on the morning of each event. Early access to the venue can be arrange but is chargeable. For any deliveries outside the above times, approval must firstly be granted by The Conservatory's Event team. Early access is charged at £150+vat per hour.

Are we able to have Confetti?

No confetti is allowed outside. Inside the marquee confetti can be thrown, however please discuss this with your venue manager prior to the day.

Can we use candles?

No. LED candles must be used in all instances.

Can we have Fireworks or Sparkler?

Unfortunately, No to having Fireworks, however, hand sparklers or cold sparkers can be possible, please speak with a member of the team to discuss the possibility.
