The Atholl Palace Hotel

Atholl Palace Hotel was just what we were looking for in a venue. We had our ceremony and meal in the Bow Lounge and evening reception in the Atholl Suite. We were also able to reserve the Stag’s Head Bar for our drinks reception for private use. The wedding meal was absolutely delicious, with huge portions. We received numerous compliments from guests about how lovely the food was. The best meal had at a Wedding. The Bow Lounge is stunning, and has the view out the bay window down the valley. The Atholl Suite had everything we needed, with its own bar and toilets. It felt like we had exclusive use, especially as it’s in the extension of the hotel away from other guests. The team were also able to accommodate our request of having breakfast the next morning in the Tay Room (a private area in the Verandah restaurant), so our guests could all be together. We had the most perfect time!

My wife and I held our wedding reception withn the Atholl Palace Hotel and we were delighted with the standard of service. All of the staff were proffesional, friendly and approachable and nothing was too much trouble from beggining to end. We were provided with a dedicated room which is perfectly equipped to host large numbers. The food and drink is delicious, with everything procured locally/regionally. Our reception ran like clock work, with all our guests commenting on the quality and standrard of the hotel and its presentation. My wife and I highly recommend anyone contempllating a wedding at the Hotel to book with them. We would not hesitate to do so again.

We are still so happy with how our wedding day was. It was honestly the most perfect day ever! Thank you both so much.

Clive & I refer to our wedding as a “extravaganza“ weekend and our guests said that It was the best wedding ever :)

My wedding was in lockdown so obviously wasn’t the day I had dreamed of. Catherine was fab at organising everything from table decor to decorating the aisle. We had a lovely day and got great pictures around the grounds. A day il always remember.

Firstly, the grounds are simply stunning, everywhere you look has a fantastic view. From the moment we booked our big day to our final farewell to the venue the day after our wedding the staff at the atholl palace were incredibly patient, helpful and so accommodating. Would highly recommend the atholl palace as a wedding venue to consider, its warm, cosy inviting and I still have guests to this day commenting on how delicious the meal was. Overall 10 stars to the staff & venue!

My wife and I attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed overnight. The hotel was beautiful as was the wedding reception area. We had a lovely room which was huge with great views. Food at wedding and breakfast next morning was excellent. Would return again anytime and highly recommend a stay there.
