WHAT A DAY!WHAT A DAY!
Me and my partner recently got married at tankersley manor. It was the most perfect day from start to finish. Jess the wedding co-ordinator is Absolutley amazing at her job! The passion and excitement she has for what she does makes what can be an overwhelming process of planning so much easier and enjoyable. Jess does everything in her power to bring your vision to life and is on hand anytime to answer any questions. Everything about the day is like a dream, guests commented on how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, everything ran smoothly, the staff at Tankersley manor were so polite and friendly! I do not have one bad thing to say! Abi the events manager did an amazing job on the day too, she was polite, friendly and did everything she could to make it run as smoothly as possible and also ensured me and Brad had some time alone to take everything in! We had our wedding here at the weekend in the Pennine Suite and it was magical! 👰🏻‍♀️ Could not recommend Tankersley enough if you are planning your wedding, Jess our wedding coordinator is SO helpful and just a lovely soul, we wouldn’t have been able to do it without her! She was always there making sure all our questions were answered and nothing was ever too much for her, we can’t thank her enough!! And LUKE he was absolutely fab, he ran our wedding day for us and honestly just wow, he was always checking in on us and made sure the day went smoothly! Even our guests complimented him and said how helpful and efficient he was, we wouldn’t have been able to get through the day without him! Both are amazing and down to earth people and made the whole day a fairytale for us🥹 Thank you to the whole Tankersley Manor team, you made our special day one we will never forget! BEST DAY EVER!BEST DAY EVER!
On the 27th July we had our wedding reception in the Tankersley Suite. The entire day was perfect thanks to the venue staff and especially Abigail, our wonderful wedding coordinator. We felt immensely looked after and a huge thing for us was the way that the venue dealt with allergies. A few of our guests had quite severe food allergies and coeliac disease. The wedding team did everything they could to protect those with allergies and make sure their food was safe and not contaminated. In addition, one guest had a severe airborne latex allergy and the staff went above and beyond to protect this guest (they had a wedding the day before with a balloon arch and made sure it was removed the night before and the venue was completely aired out overnight). The attention to detail particularly regarding allergies meant the world to us because it meant that our guests would feel safe, relaxed and looked after. The food was INSANE! Many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We had the antipasti sharing starter, the roast lamb and treacle tart. The venue was set up beautifully by staff and it was honestly exactly how we'd dreamt it. Jess, the wedding planner is an absolute hero. She responded with care and attentiveness to all of our emails and queries, helping to make the day perfect. She reduced our stress wherever possible. She is the loveliest person and the perfect person to trust with your big day. We cannot recommend Jess, her hard work and this venue enough. THE BEST!THE BEST!
We had our wedding in April at Tankersley Manor and it’s was everything we dreamed of and more! We got engaged in December and decided to visit the venue 2 weeks later and book a date for April. With less than 14 weeks to plan, we were a little apprehensive as to if this could be done how we wanted, but the team were always on hand with communication and helped provide recommendations as to what was best suited for us. From the moment we first visited the venue we knew it was the one. Jess was very accommodating and understanding of our reasonings for certain decisions. She helped shape the order of the day for us and gave us confidence in the run up to the big day. We got married in the crook barn which provided a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. Jess, Abi and the wedding team couldn’t do enough for us on the day. From laying our decor, they ensured the venue was presented how we wanted and they made sure the day ran so smoothly. The food was amazing, and was well received for our guests. The team were attentive and efficient. The DJ was great which made our evening a fun night of dancing and celebration. Following our day, we’ve received such positive feedback from our guests about the stunning venue. Thank you to all the team at Tankersley! We just wish we could do it all over again! Jess was so helpful during the planning process, always willing to answer any questions we had. On the day, Luke was super attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The day ran incredibly smoothly and the food was brilliant. All the staff made us feel very well looked after, we highly recommend Tankersley Manor.We recently got married at Tankersley Manor and it was the most perfect day. Where do we begin. We decided to visit Tankersley Manor to discuss their wedding packages in April 2023 where we met Jess along with our family. We were instantly welcomed by Jess and the team at Tankersley and were shown around. We discussed the perfect package for us with Jess, and we decided to book. Since booking our wedding, we were supported with every part of the build up to our day. Jess was extremely helpful and supportive in directing us with what we needed to organise, book and finalise. This made our lives so much easier as we had no idea what we needed to do. Close to the wedding we had our final meeting with Jess where we went through all the fine details, and were able to confirm exactly what we had been planning over the last two years. We asked if we could have a meal organised the night before the wedding as a lot of guests were staying, and it couldn't have been better. It was the perfect way for us all to enjoy the night before the wedding, and for guests who did not know each other to meet. We were put in contact with Luke at Tankersley Manor who was going to be there on our wedding day to ensure everything ran smoothly. After we first spoke to Luke on the phone, we instantly knew that we had nothing to worry about. We then met Luke on the Saturday night and he was extremely welcoming, we felt like we had known him for years. Nothing was too much to ask. Even to things such as our dog being raw fed and us needing somewhere to store his food. Everything was covered. The morning of our wedding, we were both very well looked after by all the staff at Tankersley. I was getting ready in the Wharncliffe suite, and all my food was brought to me in the room (even though I was too nervous to eat!). Everyone in the Wharncliffe Suite who was getting ready with me was also looked after, and all dietary requirements were met. We got married on Sunday the 18th of May 2025, and what a day it was. We are so grateful to every single member of the team at Tankersley Manor. They all went above and beyond for us and our family and friends. Even now, we still all get so excited to talk about it. From the morning until night, nothing could have gone any better, and that is thanks to all the staff at Tankersley Manor. We felt extremely comfortable to have our wedding there, and we are so happy that we chose to have our special day at Tankersley Manor. We would like to say a special thank you to Jess and Luke. These two were absolutely outstanding at their jobs. Thank you for supporting us throughout our journey of making our dreams a reality. Well where do I start. After looking at a couple of venues we both settled on Tankersley and thought it was so much better than the others that we had looked at, Jess definetly done her magic and sold it to us. The professionalism received by Jess was outstanding and she knew straight away what i wanted, I would say we but my partner left it up to me. I’m sure I wasn’t bridezilla. I knew exactly what I wanted for our special day and Jess was happy to help. Jess worked so hard and everything was done to perfection. On of our Wedding Abi was our coordinator and again this was done by perfection and our day ran smoothly, she did amazing. All the staff were excellent on the day and I couldn’t have wished for anything better. Everyone’s attention to detail was perfect. All our guest said how nice it was that everyone was so friendly. The resident dj was ab From our first visit to the telephone and emails that were sent Jess always got straight back. I opted for my hen party at Tankersley and again that was done to perfection. If anyone is thinking of where should they get married I would definitely recommend Tankersley and go and speak to Jess. We felt part of a family through the whole experience. Jess was an absolute diamond who’d do anything for us and on the day Abi and Karen were super!
