About Swarling Manor
Swarling Manor is a 17th-century manor house just outside Canterbury in Kent and is set amidst 80 acres of countryside. Surrounding the Manor House is lovely landscaped gardens, picturesque lawns, a rustic fairy lit barn and a modern marquee which are connected as one. The lawns and grounds offer the most stunning backdrop for your wedding celebration. We have four places to have your ceromony, indoor and outdoor. Coach Cottage is also available for use and provides the ideal haven for your morning preparations and perfect for the bride and groom on the wedding night. At Swarling Manor we give you the flexibility you need to design a wedding that meets your needs, your budget and is individual to you.
At Swarling Manor, we pride ourselves on flexibility, attention to detail and exceptional hospitality. Our experienced team is dedicated, understanding and passionate about helping you shape a wedding day that feels entirely personal. We also work closely with a selection of trusted local caterers, stylists, florists, makeup artists and other talented professionals. Whether your dreams involve a formal three course meal, relaxed BBQ or hog roast, festival style food trucks or something completely unique, we’re here to help make it happen.
Although we offer beautifully curated wedding packages to suit all budgets, we are always happy to be flexible in creating bespoke options based on your ideas, your tastes and your budget. From intimate celebrations to large gatherings of up to 250 guests, we believe anything is possible at Swarling Manor.

Perfect for those that want to with the perfect blank canvas to add any colour or style to. An absolutely huge thank you to Jess and the whole team. We had such an amazing day everything seemed to run so smoothly. Even the next day when we went to collect our belongings the clear up team were so lovely. Thank you again to everyone involved in making our postponed wedding an wonderful day with so many fantastic memories.Absolute stunning venue, really doesn't need much if any decoration at all. The whole day from start to finish was seamless, the grounds are breathtaking and there are so many little areas where you can explore too! My friend chose to get married outside on the grounds, and have the food and evening party in the barn and marquee. Everything just felt so elevated and beautiful!I was a guest at a wedding here and I must say it was absolutely incredible. We had such a wonderful day for our daughter's wedding. Their care and attention to detail was very good and the Staff looking after us were relaxed and friendly. We couldn't have hoped for more. The food too was excellent. The grounds and gardens are wonderful and everyone, especially the children, were able to enjoy them. So thank you Lois and Team.Lois and her Team have been amazing! From the moment we booked Swarling Manor we were so happy. It is a beautiful wedding venue and they could not have been more accommodating when planning our big day.
