Licensed for civil ceremonies, the manor offers a choice of locations for couples to exchange their vows. The Grand Banqueting Suite is popular for ceremonies of up to 150 guests, while the elegant Sussex Room and the Conservatory are perfect for more intimate occasions. During the warmer months, the outdoor gazebo offers a romantic setting on the Southdowns Manor lawns. The in-house chefs and wedding planning team work to the highest standards to provide decadent wedding breakfasts and evening entertainment. Southdowns was incredible

Our experience with Southdowns was incredible! Karis was amazing getting the wedding of our dreams in the budget we could afford. Really couldn’t have been more helpful. On our day and the run up to it Lia was our Event Manager - she went above and beyond making sure all aspects of our day was perfect., The staff, the food, the whole experience we couldn’t praise more, all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and we have had nothing but positive comments about how everyone enjoyed the day.

Southdowns Manor and its staff are incredible

From start to finish the whole journey with Southdowns Manor has been relaxed, friendly and incredibly helpful. This extended to the recommended suppliers that we used too. Everyone involved worked together to make our Wedding exactly what we'd hoped for, with no exceptions. It's hard not to overstate how fantastic the location, staff and the food all were. Having sole use of the venue for a 24 hour period really made a difference for us too, it meant we could have our Wedding, our way without any strangers wandering through as you might find at other hotels for example. A final reason we chose the venue was because almost everything was included in the price. This meant that we had far fewer decisions to make and we could see what everything would look like in situ, long before the day itself. And while we did upgrade a few elements, these decisions were nearly all made at one of the open evenings. Southdowns Manor and its staff are incredible, our Wedding planner ran the day like clockwork and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. James and Claire Yarborough 20.07.24

A special shoutout to our amazing wedding planner, Lia, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. FINDING US Southdowns Manor Dumpford Lane Trotton Petersfield GU31 5JN England GET DIRECTIONS GETTING HERE By road Travelling from the A3: Take the exit signposted A272 Midhurst/Petersfield, at the roundabout take the first exit, following signs for A272 Midhurst. Follow the road up the hill and at the crest turn right, still following A272. Follow the road for 6 miles, through the village of Rogate – please ignore your SatNav and do not turn right – Southdowns Manor is sign posted just after the small bridge with traffic lights in Trotton. Follow the road signs, continuing on the A272 and then turn right towards Elsted/ Harting. Follow this road for 3 miles until the Elsetd Inn, then turn right towards Southdowns Manor. Follow this road, then at the T-junction turn left. You will shortly arrive at Southdowns Manor, which will be on the right. Travelling from Midhurst on the A272: Southdowns Manor is clearly signposted from the Elsted/Harting turn. Follow this road for 3 miles until the Elsetd Inn, then turn right towards Southdowns Manor. Follow this road, then at the T-junction turn left. You will shortly arrive at Southdowns Manor, which will be on the right. By train Petersfield is the nearest train station, on the main line from London to Portsmouth. Southdowns Manor is about 7 miles from the station; which is approximately a 10–15 minute taxi ride. By air The major London airports are easily accessible via the M25.
