From the moment we first contacted Southdowns Manor we had a positive feeling about the venue. The team we dealt with were always friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and importantly, very responsive. We had Becky as our planner and she was amazing, with excellent suggestions and immediate action and response. The wedding itself was fantastic in every way. We had a winter wedding and it was perfect, with log fires and Christmas decorations.

We had Becky as our planner and she was amazing, with excellent suggestions and immediate action and response. The wedding itself was fantastic in every way. We had a winter wedding and it was perfect, with log fires and Christmas decorations. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the onsite accommodation is to a very high standard. It made our 2 day stay really lovely, with a family and friends meal the night before the wedding. The food was commented on by many of the guests, the quality was very good and the portion sizes generous to say the least. Coming to the cost.....I can't believe the value that Southdowns Manor represents, way better value for money than anything else we looked at. The staff at Southdowns were incredibly accommodating leading up to our wedding. On the day Becky and her team planned every detail with swift efficiency and in a very professional manner helping to ensure my new wife and I were able to have the most enjoyable day possible. FINDING US Southdowns Manor Dumpford Lane Trotton Petersfield GU31 5JN England GET DIRECTIONS GETTING HERE By road Travelling from the A3: Take the exit signposted A272 Midhurst/Petersfield, at the roundabout take the first exit, following signs for A272 Midhurst. Follow the road up the hill and at the crest turn right, still following A272. Follow the road for 6 miles, through the village of Rogate – please ignore your SatNav and do not turn right – Southdowns Manor is sign posted just after the small bridge with traffic lights in Trotton. Follow the road signs, continuing on the A272 and then turn right towards Elsted/ Harting. Follow this road for 3 miles until the Elsetd Inn, then turn right towards Southdowns Manor. Follow this road, then at the T-junction turn left. You will shortly arrive at Southdowns Manor, which will be on the right. Travelling from Midhurst on the A272: Southdowns Manor is clearly signposted from the Elsted/Harting turn. Follow this road for 3 miles until the Elsetd Inn, then turn right towards Southdowns Manor. Follow this road, then at the T-junction turn left. You will shortly arrive at Southdowns Manor, which will be on the right. By train Petersfield is the nearest train station, on the main line from London to Portsmouth. Southdowns Manor is about 7 miles from the station; which is approximately a 10–15 minute taxi ride. By air The major London airports are easily accessible via the M25.
