Most of what we do is on a bespoke basis, however, for couples who would like some of the organisation done for them and desire a stream-lined planning process, we have crafted two wedding packages: - The Buffet package for 40 or 60 guests available Monday-Wednesday in select months includes: Exclusive use of the barns and 20 acres of gardens, a glass per person for drinks reception and for toasting, 1/3 bottle of wine per person, 2-course Hot Buffet & Dessert Medley, after dinner tea & coffee with petit fours, butties or warm filled paninis for evening food, dance floor, and our stunning Coach House Suite complimentary for your wedding night! - The Formal package for 60 guests available Monday-Thursday in all months (excluding July & August) includes: Exclusive use of the barns and 20 acres of gardens, two glasses per person for drinks reception and one for toasting, four canapes per person, 1/2 bottle of wine per person, 3-course formal wedding breakfast, after dinner tea & coffee with petit fours, street food for the evening, dance floor, and our stunning Coach House Suite complimentary for your wedding night! A wedding beyond our wildest dreams

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at South Farm for helping us create the wedding of our dreams! At seven months pregnant, planning a wedding should have been an even more stressful process than ever but it wasn’t! Becky was an absolute pleasure to deal with and from the moment we met her, we knew she would be able to bring our intimate wedding dream to life, she understood our priorities and really took the reigns when we couldn’t come to our own decisions on elements of the wedding and helped immensely when I was struggling with baby brain! Evie ensured that the day ran smoothly and all the staff at the farm were beyond incredible and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fabulous and all the little touches such as the lawn games and ice cream cart made our little wedding a really special one. We couldn’t be more grateful to the team for being a part of our story.

THE most incredible day we could have ever had

South Farm were absolutely amazing from the day we went to the open house. The staff are so attentive, lovely, welcoming and just the best! The most incredible day!! Wish we could do it again!!

South Farm was the most amazing venue, we honestly couldn’t have hoped for more! From the moment that we went to look round, we knew it was the place for us (it was the first and only venue we visited as we both fell in love with it so I cancelled the rest!!) The venue itself is absolutely stunning and absolutely meticulous! The house, barns and grounds are maintained to the highest standard whilst making everyone feel at home and so welcome! It has a wonderful atmosphere and all of our guests have told us that it was the most fabulous place they have ever been to for a wedding!! The food and drink is second to none, with a fabulous menu to choose from (the tasting evening was just incredible) and there is no dietary requirement that they can’t meet!! All of our guests were catered for and absolutely loved our choices. The staff are absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much for them and we felt totally looked after from start to finish!! We honestly cannot thank them enough for everything that they did for us!! I recommend South Farm to anyone I hear who is engaged and encourage them to go for a tour!! We wish we could do it all again!!

The perfect venue

South farm is far and away the best place we could have chosen to get married. Not only is the venue itself stunning but the staff were amazing and made sure that everything ran so smoothly on the day. We got married at south farm in 2016 and it was everything and more than we wanted it to be! It was special, private, stunningly beautiful and the team.. the team are just next level unreal!! The most amazing and special day

From the moment we visited Sourh Farm, we knew we wanted our special day to be there. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and the venue is stunning. During one of our visits, a father of a bride came and highly recommended the venue and food which we were really impressed and pleased by. It was so well organised and brilliant. A lot of guests say it is the best food they have ever had at a wedding and it’s the best wedding venue they have been to. A wonderful day and we would highly recommend it.

Describe the best wedding that happened at South Farm?

Each and every wedding held here at South Farm is special and unique - we couldn't possibly choose! However there are so many special moments to share from weddings... we love the moments the bride shares with her bridesmaids before she walks down the aisle. The moment the groom sees his bride is always a favourite and we love the famous South Farm rose petal confetti shower after the ceremony! We recently had a couple choose a song during their ceremony rather than a reading and all their guests joined them in a lovely rendition of ‘Stand By Me’ - such a special moment with everyone singing their hearts out! And another firm favourite is when couples venture into our barnyard and have pictures with our super-cute little piglets! We also had a bride choosing to arrive to the ceremony on our Tuk Tuk, her father’s face was a picture of delight when he realised he was getting a spin on an authentic Thai Tuk Tuk before giving his daughter away!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy your special day! At South Farm you will have a dedicated Event Manager who will look after you and your guests on your Wedding Day meaning you can relax and just enjoy yourselves!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We have seen so many lovely ideas from a Vintage Fairground Carousel in our Courtyard to Duck Herding in the Gardens! All our couples are very welcome to bring their own ideas and add their own unique touches. We've had bouncy castles, festival-themed weddings, helicopters landing and couples bringing their dog to be ring-bearer or their own horse for post-ceremony photos!

Where’s the best photo spot at South Farm?

There are so many to choose from! The Monet bridge over the pond is a favourite, so is the tree-lined driveway lit up with fairy lights. The lovely blue front door of the main house is a perfect spot for confetti photographs and the Steam Engine is great for pictures too! We also love it when our couples have the photograph taken with our farm animals - piglets shots are the cutest!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at South Farm?

Yes! Though we are very discreet so our lips are sealed!

What’s your favourite canapé?

All of them are mini-morsels of deliciousness! If we had to choose a favourite it would be between the Chorizo & Sweet Potato Croquette served with Kimchi Mayo and Chilli & Orange Chicken Liver Pate served on roundels of Olive Oil Fried Bread but it's a tough choice and there are so many other delicious South Farm canapés we couldn't possibly choose just one!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

A sparkler photo in the courtyard followed by wedding cake and prosecco in the Coach House Suite for the happy couple!!

What is South Farm most unique feature?

We have a team of very talented chefs and all our catering is in-house. Our own smallholding supplies nearly all our vegetables, herbs, fruit and eggs whatever the season. We grow literally hundreds of vegetable varieties, with passion and care. It’s the key to our ultra-fresh, seasonal and organic wedding food menus. Couples can choose from a formal three course served menu or any one of a number of buffets including a sumptuous Fusion Feast, a Hog Roast like no other you ever tasted, a Hot Buffet with a great choice of menu options or the time honoured BBQ. Plus delicious salads of every variety. Prefer something else? That’s no trouble at all… Our chefs love to create new dishes so if you are looking for something that’s not on our standard menus just talk to us – we are very happy to be creative if you have your heart set on something special! Our range of diverse international dishes is extensive and meets all tastes and budgets and all our wedding food is cooked to the moment and beautifully presented. We also offer complimentary Menu Tasting evenings to our couples who book a bespoke wedding. This is an opportunity for couples to see, taste and rate over 30 of our signature dishes and is a hugely helpful for couples choosing their menu for their big day.
