Silchester Farm

The staff are so friendly and helpful and the venue co-ordinator made sure everything went to plan and had lots of check-ins before hand with helpful tips! We loved this venue because it’s so romantic and cosy and it took us so long to find a venue with a beautiful indoor and outdoor option so if it rained we wouldn’t be disappointed! The venue also let me confirm on the morning of the wedding if I wanted to be outside which was perfect! The food, cocktails and overnight accommodation were also incredible with a special honeymoon suite separate to the other rooms. The getting ready room is also stunning!

Silchester Farm was our dream venue and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more for our big day. The setting is absolutely stunning and offered the most beautiful backdrop to our wedding. The team were super professional, and the service was top notch. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

What you have done to the venue in the past year has been amazing too and meant we actually got so much more than what we originally saw and fell in love with during our initial visit - it was so exciting coming back each time and seeing something new! The day itself ran smoothly and without a hitch (nothing that we noticed anyway!) and Daniel was always there to let us know what was next and where we needed to be without making us feel rushed. We had our wedding at Silchester Farm in September 2021 and surpassed all our expectations. The team at Silchester were so accommodating during helping us move dates during the pandemic and so helpful and knowledge during the planning process. Emma and the rest of the team really went out of their way to make our day extra special, including moving all of decorations around, being very flexible with what we wanted, and making sure things ran like clockwork behind the scenes. The venue is absolutely stunning and perfect for all weathers, we had so many lovely comments from our guest and wish we could relive the whole day again. If you have the chance to get married at Silchester Farm, then don’t hesitate and go for it - you’ll have the best day ever and you’ll be treated as though your part of their family. 😊🎉

My daughter had her wedding here at the start of August, what an amazing place. Every building was excellent, and beautifully finished and decorated. The Threshing Barn was a perfect location for the ceremony, the Cow Shed was a great building for the meal and party with plenty of space inside and out, and the other buildings and grounds just topped off the day. Al and Carla are great, and all the staff were excellent throughout the day. so many thanks to them all. I would not change a thing, and would highly recommend Silchester Farm to everyone looking for a venue for a special occasion.

The best wedding venue there is!! Myself and my now husband absolutely fell in love with this venue when we first saw it back in early 2019. And what they have done to the place since then is just amazing! Having the chance to have 2 large buildings to spread our day across was just perfect! No other venue has this kind of luxury, and it really is luxury! The Threshing Barn was the perfect place to have our romantic ceremony, the attention to detail in that barn is just beautiful, they’ve kept the rustic, intimate vibe but with such a high end feel. And then we moved up to the new Cow Shed, where our guests were amazed all over again with this beautiful space! There was something really special about seeing our guests faces when they entered and it is honestly the best venue! So much space inside and out, all the decor is beautiful, a huge bar and a big kitchen for the caterers. I’ve not seen a venue with this much space before, it’s perfect to spend the rest of your day there. The terrace is great for people to relax after a big meal and the space inside is great for the evening party! It was also lovely being able to look out across the fields and back down to the Threshing Barn with all the festoon lights in the evening! The Barn House and Wood Shed are also an amazing addition to the venue. The rooms were gorgeous, the interior design was second to none and all our guests that stayed had the perfect night sleep. The outdoor space is also stunning, amazing views of the Hampshire countryside and ample photo opportunities! This truly is the most magical venue and our day was just the best. The team at Silchester are all amazing! So friendly and helpful, nothing is too much of an ask. They have the perfect balance of being on hand if you need anything but not too encroaching, although we wanted them all there to celebrate with us as they have such a family feel to the place, they felt more like friends than business owners!
