Our Perfect DayOur Perfect Day
Getting married at Runa Farm was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the place for us. The rustic, boho feel is so naturally beautiful that we barely needed to add anything at all, it already feels warm, welcoming and full of charm. Staying in the farmhouse the night before made the whole experience even more special. The team looked after us so well, making sure we had everything we needed both that evening and the next morning. They were so thoughtful fitting breakfast in around hair and makeup arriving, which helped the morning feel calm, relaxed and really enjoyable. From start to finish, the team at Runa Farm were incredible. They made planning easy and stress-free and on the day itself we felt completely taken care of. They were always quietly there when we needed them, making sure we had a drink in our hands, keeping everything running smoothly and gently organising what was happening with the kids so we could just be present and enjoy every moment. They showed such genuine care for our family too. Knowing my dad was being properly looked after with his mobility issues meant the world to us and took away any worries we had. Every little detail mattered to them. All of the extra bits we brought were placed exactly where we wanted, and seeing the décor moved from the chapel into the main barn without us needing to ask was such a lovely touch. It made the whole day feel effortless. The food was unforgettable. The BBQ wedding breakfast was incredible and is still being talked about by our guests. In the evening, burgers, fries and churros were the perfect finish and fitted the relaxed feel of the day so well. The chapel, the setting and the atmosphere were just beautiful. The day flowed so naturally and felt completely us, full of love, laughter and happiness. Runa Farm gave us a day we will treasure forever. We will always be so grateful to the entire team for the care, kindness and love they put into our wedding. We got very lucky as we found a date last minute on a weekend(29/93/25). Emily our wedding co-ordinator was fantastic and very patient, given we had less than 3 months to plan everything. The team catered to my dads egg allergy and a celiac dietary requirement for main and dessert. The master of ceremony( a gentleman) the and co-ordinator for the day( i can't recall their names due to it being almost 11 months since the wedding😭) were brillaint. They took care of everything for us from start to beginning. We met them a day before and enquired if it was possible to arrange a staff to record our ceremony since we hire only a photographer, they were more than happy to do this and one of the staffs recorded it on my husbands phone. We were so care-free that we literally danced the night away. Our guests came from from different countries and they were all extremelyyyy happy and lovedd the team for the class work!! I gave a big hug to our MOC and coordinator for the day as i didn't need to worry about anything. We also had some privaye time in the mezzanine after the ceremony and a FIRST TOUCH moment before the ceremony. The groom and bride get free drinks on the bar😬❤️ Runa Farm was exactly what we wanted- boho, earthy, natural with lots of natural light in the hall. Wr didn't add any extra decorations to either the ceremony room and thr hall as we LOVEDD the place how it was!!🫶 My parents and friends travelled from India, Malaysia and Ireland and they really enjoyed themselves. I woulf happily choose Runa Farm in another lifetime. The most perfect day ❤️The most perfect day ❤️
We had our wedding at Runa Farm in September and the entire day was perfect, we couldn’t be more grateful to the staff at the venue and also the wider Apartment Group staff who helped us with all of the planning leading up to the wedding. Paige was our wedding coordinator who was our main contact for everything once we had booked Runa Farm, I don’t think there was a single question Paige wasn’t able to answer she was so helpful. At the start of our wedding planning we had so many questions so Paige arranged a call with us to go through our long list, and then quickly followed up after the call with an email detailing everything as well as sending on all of the relevant documents and information that we’d asked about. It was around 20 months from us booking the venue to our wedding date and Paige was there every step of the way, she kept us updated with any changes, notified us with plenty of time when payments were due and also shared extra information to help us with the wedding planning process. She was also so accommodating whenever we decided to change things or swap or add on things to our package. At the start of 2025 (the year we were getting married) Paige reached out with all of the dates for the menu showcase evenings, we were lucky enough to secure a spot on one of the January dates which meant we could sample the menus and canapés ahead of us having to make a decision. It was also such a lovely way to kick off our wedding year and getting back into the wedding planning mode. The showcase evening was amazing, there were cocktails, and live entertainment throughout the evening and it gave us a chance to envision what our wedding would be like. There were loads of Apartment Group staff around that evening too who were all so friendly and walked round the tables to chat to all of the couples, and it made it so easy to ask questions. The showcase menu was a set selection of an amuse-bouche and a sparkle course along with a couple of starters, mains and desserts from the main wedding breakfast menu, luckily a few of them were ones we were planning on having for our meal so it gave us the opportunity to try them and also swap out a few of the dishes we had picked for some we had tried on the night. A couple of months before our wedding we had our in person meeting with Paige to go through the entire wedding plans which was really exciting to start to see how the day would come together, we talked through everything from the evening before right up to the end of the wedding and we both came away feeling so at ease knowing Paige’s expertise and the staff at Runa Farm were so experienced and across everything. Even though we’d thought of everything there were still additional bits we needed to decide on but Paige sent through the planning document and clearly labelled what information was missing as well as putting it all in a list for us so it was clear and easy to action. It also gave us yet another chance for Paige to answer even more of our questions (a lot of which were also answered whilst going through the run of the day) and it felt so nice to know that everything was in hand. We can’t thank Paige enough for all of her work, help and support whilst planning our wedding, she’s such an asset to the Apartment Group team. We’d also like to give a special mention to Lucy in the accommodations team who was our main contact for sorting out the rooms and she was always so quick to respond and help us with getting rooms reserved for guests and keeping the names updated on the rooms as we had lots of changes and booked some under our names too, Lucy was across it all and was such a big help. The day before the wedding we arrived at Runa Farm where we were handed over to the on site team for the rest of our wedding. Katherine was our coordinator on the day and she was just amazing! We had a meeting on the evening to go through the entire run of the day with the updated and finalised schedule from Paige and Katherine then explained in more detail how exactly each part of the day would be at the venue, she talked through who would be where and doing what which made it so much easier for us as we knew there would be the team at the venue there to keep everything running smoothly. We were able to leave all of our decorations and things that needed putting out (confetti, menus, name tags, favours etc) in a side room at the restaurant and the team took them all over to Runa Farm and got it set up after the wedding that day had finished, they were all so incredible and completely brought our vision to life. We also were given luggage tags to put on our bags so in the morning after we had left for the ceremony the team were able to move them into the correct rooms of where everyone was staying that night. On our actual wedding day we couldn’t have been happier, everything ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. After the ceremony the time up in the mezzanine was so special just taking in the emotions of the wedding day after just being married and having no one else around. We also had our drinks and canapés waiting for us which was a lovely touch. For the guests there were trays of canapés going round during the drinks reception which everyone enjoyed and went down a treat, alongside a pineapple mojito and bottle of Madri. The wedding breakfast was also delicious, everyone was raving about how good the food was, even now people still comment on how good the chicken was! We went for the three course wedding breakfast but gave people a choice between two for each course and it all went smoothly, we provided menu cards for each guest with their choices on and everyone got the correct meal, all hot and no issues at all. There was even an extra under 2 that we initially didn’t have on the list and the venue were able to provide an extra meal for them, along with setting up a high chair and little play area. In the evening we opted for the pizza which was a hit with all of the guests and there was plenty left over too! We even each had a little plate sent to our room for us to tuck into at the end of the night along with some slices of cake which was so thoughtful and a lovely touch, as we didn’t actually have chance to eat any during the evening. Every moment of our wedding day was perfect from waking up to going to bed and the staff at Runa Farm were a big part of that. Katherine dealt with all of the suppliers as and when they arrived to make sure everyone and everything was where they needed to be, she came in to check on us in the morning when she arrived as well to make sure everything was okay. One of the groomsmen had an issue with his trousers from the company being ripped but one of the Runa Farm staff members who lived nearby (I believe it was her day off and she wasn’t working) had a sewing machine and came to the rescue to take the trousers back to hers to sew them and bring them back in time for the ceremony! Ian was our master of Ceremonies who guided us and the guests through the day as well, he has so much character and energy and was brilliant the entire day, he was even getting the guests to cheer and compete with who could be the loudest whilst sat down at the tables before introducing us into the room. Every single member of the team at Runa Farm was truly exceptional and played a part in making our day as amazing as it was. Choosing Runa Farm for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is simply breathtaking,exactly the Ibiza-boho vibe we were dreaming of. It truly felt like the perfect backdrop for our special day, and so many of our guests commented on how stunning and unique it is. The staff at Runa are equally impressive. Every single person we met was friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we hoped for. They are all a credit to Runa. A special mention must go to Kenzie, our wedding coordinator. She was incredible from start to finish, communicative, organised, and regularly checking in. Thanks to her, we always felt everything was in hand. On the day itself, Amy, our wedding manager, was truly amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, and her calm, relaxed manner really helped to ease my nerves and take away the overwhelm that every bride feels. Alongside Tommy our wonderful master of ceremonies, they kept the day flowing smoothly and beautifully. We also want to thank Emma from the accommodation team—so welcoming, helpful, and attentive to our guests’ needs. Everyone felt well looked after and happy with their stay. What we didn’t expect was for our day to take an emotional turn when our dog, who was meant to be part of our celebration was reported missing by our dog walker. We had to leave the evening reception to search for him, and it was incredibly distressing. During this difficult time, the staff truly went above and beyond. A heartfelt shout-out to Aimee from the bar. She supported our guests brilliantly, ensured the party continued as best it could, and many commented on how fabulous she was. Both Aimee and Amy even helped share media posts to support the search for our dog, especially as we weren’t local to the area. Thanks to the incredible community effort, he was found the next day. The support we received from Amy, Kenzie and the team during and after the wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. We are deeply grateful to them and all the staff from the Runa Farm team. Both Aimee and Amy even helped share media posts to support the search for our dog, especially as we weren’t local to the area. Thanks to the incredible community effort, he was found the next day. The support we received from Amy, Kenzie and the team during and after the wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. We are deeply grateful to them and all the staff from the Runa Farm team. Amazing wedding from start to finish!!Amazing wedding from start to finish!!
We had the most incredible experience from booking up until our wedding day, it was a day made of dreams from start to finish everyone in venue were incredible and did amazing throughout. Big shout out to our wedding coordinator who was fantastic! Every single guest has said it was the best wedding they had been to!! As soon as we walked into Runa Farm, my partner and I knew this was where we wanted to get married. Every step of the way, the staff have been excellent. We had lots of communication with our Wedding Coordinator and an excellent menu tasting evening with plenty of food and drink on offer. On the day of the wedding the staff couldn't do enough for us and it all ran so smoothly. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and the service from the staff across all areas was spot on. Ian the Master of Ceremonies and Katherine our Wedding Manager were both absolutely brilliant and made us feel so at ease on our big day. We knew we wanted our dog to be a part of our wedding and our search for dog-friendly venues led us to The Apartment Group, and to Runa Farm. We booked a tour, bringing Pip the sausage dog with us to get his seal of approval, and fell in love with the wedding chapel, the lovely staff and friendly welcome. Working with the head office team and our wedding coordinator, Emily, was great - if I had a question or an anxiety, the team were an email or a call away to answer it or reassure me. There's nothing more reassuring when making a big decision than other people's endorsement and, when choosing suppliers, everyone we wanted to work with said "Oh we love working with Runa!". No request was too weird or too wild, right down making it possible for me to surprise my husband with a giant pork pie groom's cake on the day. The day before our wedding we met with the on-site wedding manager to run through our whole day. No question was too much, and she was so efficient, calm and reassuring that I was probably the most relaxed bride in the world and trusted had everything in hand. Between Emma and Ian, the Master of Ceremonies, we felt like we were in the safest hands. The day itself was perfect, everything ran smoothly and all the staff were absolutely delightful. The food was excellent, drinks delicious, and all our guests loved the venue and the atmosphere, and Pippin the sausage dog was the real star of the show. Ian and Emma did a wonderful job of keeping everything running to time and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. Emma even made sure that there was a slice of wedding cake waiting for us in the honeymoon suite at the end of the night. Runa was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We got engaged knowing we needed to organise a wedding very quickly as my mum had terminal brain cancer and I knew I’d never get married without her there. From the first show round I knew that runa was the absolute perfect place to get married! Within 7 weeks the team helped me plan our dream wedding, they were so understanding about everything, giving me longer to pick my options as by the time we booked we would have been past all the usual deadlines for everything. The night before they let me set up for the wedding day so I had the whole morning free to get ready, I was even able to practice walking down the aisle which added so much fun with my bridesmaids! The entire day was absolutely seamless, all the staff were absolutely amazing I couldn’t fault a single thing! Just as we were about to walk down the aisle my little girl lost her teddy and the wedding manager stopped everything until it was found he was amazing, it added a funny story to the day too! When my husband was flagging at the meal the manager even sent someone to a shop to get him a can of redbull, there was nothing they wouldn’t do!! Again, the night time was just perfect, the moving around the rooms to set up you wouldn’t never even know was happening. The entire venue is decorated to perfection so I only added a few touches! Gorgeous wooden tables and chairs, everything in side and out was beautiful! We had plenty of time to get all the decorations and flowers packed up after breakfast with no rush. My wedding blues were so bad that we ended up booking a family night there for our 2 weeks anniversary and we can’t wait to go back for our 1 year! Unfortunately my mum passed away a few months later, but she had the best day and I’m so glad we have the memories of a perfect day Runa was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We had our wedding at Runa Farm and it was just the best day ever, nothing was too much to ask from the team and everything just flowed lovely. I couldn't have asked for anything more! Even the lead up when I had millions of questions (because I'm a control freak 😂) Jenna was always on hand to help confirm details and settled my mind, which meant I didn't have to worry on the day! I would recommend Runa Farm/Apartment Group to anyone who wants the perfect wedding! We had our wedding at Runa Farm and it was just the best day ever, nothing was too much to ask from the team and everything just flowed lovely. I couldn't have asked for anything more!
