An absolutely wonderful venue for very special events! We simply couldn’t fault the attention to detail from the team, the seemless organisation (they arranged almost everything for us), fantastic food and drink (even ordering certain items on particular request). The venue is utterly stunning and the best thing is, because there are many rooms you can enjoy music and dancing or a quiet chat in the bar or entrance hall. Would highly recommend! A beautiful old venue perfect for that special day. A family wedding was held there recently and the gardens provided a stunning backdrop for the photos. The meal was delicious and filling.

We had our little girls Christening at Rothamsted Manor and it was a truly a wonderful day and overall experience. The team at Rothamsted from start to finish were very accommodating and helped us organise this special day down to the very last detail. The guests loved the venue and I had so many of them mention how nice the staff were during the day. Highly highly recommend.

WHY CHOSE ROTHAMSTED MANOR FOR YOUR WEDDING? Firstly, Rothamsted is so beautiful it’ll take your breath away when you go to visit! THE AMAZING STAFF From Rebecca who’ll assist with your booking to Ivana, Grace and Daria the day coordinators, you’ll be in amazing hands throughout. Nothing is too much trouble for this super helpful and friendly team. I meet a lot of venue coordinators and meeting Rebecca and Ivana was such a breath of fresh air – they are so welcoming and friendly; you’ll be in great hands! Furthermore, they’ve thought of every last detail such as not allowing cars to park in front of the venue during your day so that the frontage remains clear for photos and it’s the attention to detail like this that is sorely lacking at a lot of venues. They’ve got other fab suppliers on hand that they can recommend to you as well. I know their toastmaster in particular is one of their absolute favourites! 2. THE INCREDIBLE VIEWS AND GROUNDS As mentioned above, you can gaze out over the beautiful grounds while enjoying your wedding breakfast, or have drinks outside on the lawns. However, the grounds change with every season and will look stunning in all of them. The spring has daffodils around the statues which gives way to a blanket of bluebells in the gardens. In summer the arch in the garden is adorned with beautiful flowers, but even in winter all the manicured gardens have a lot of evergreen bushes and grass so it’s guaranteed to be gorgeous in every season! 3. PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES If you’re wanting amazing photos of your wedding day (and why wouldn’t you?!) then this venue is not going to disappoint. The grounds are breathtaking and the inside of the house matches. Whether you had a sunny or rainy day you’d find plenty of beautiful places to get some gorgeous photos of you as a couple and there is ample space for family photos. Plus the backdrops for your ceremony, if you hold it here, wedding breakfast, speeches, dancing and rest of your celebration are truly the stuff fairytales are made of! 4. SUSTAINABILITY By having your wedding at Rothamsted you’ll be helping with the upkeep of a Grade I listed building and preserving history and supporting the amazing agricultural research that happens on the estate, plus enjoying the delicious food that is all made using locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. 5. I am just emailing you with feedback of our process booking the lovely Rothamsted Manor for our wedding venue on 20 May 2023. Rebecca was very informative, helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. No question was too much and we were even able to visit the Manor House a couple of times! Rebecca really made us feel comfortable and therefore made our decision much easier.

We had our wedding here in September and it was the most perfect day. I couldn't recommend the team and the venue enough! The team at Rothamsted are amazing, they are so organised and make sure everything is planned out, they think of everything so you don't have to. Ivana was instrumental in organising the day and we can't thank her enough for all her hard work, the day was more than we could have hoped. The food is incredible! Jez and his team did an amazing job on the day and on the tasting before the day (so glad we got to eat our wedding food twice!). I can't put into words how happy we were with our day, all of our guests loved the venue, it really is a special place.

Before I retired I was responsible for a very large "Wedding Venue and Conference Centre" seating up to 600 people, and I know from first hand experience the level of hard work and commitment necessary to deliver a first class product, especially when providing a hot meal for a large number of guests. Your staff were wonderful. They delivered outstanding service on every level. The lady who I believe was in charge on the day, whose name I think was Steph, went out of her way to make sure everything went according to plan. She gave assistance to my wife who is severely disabled, she organised seating and seating locations for the musicians, she made sure all guests were familiar with the building layout and location of loos, cloakroom facilities etc; etc. I cannot praise Steph highly enough, she was just brilliant and with a welcoming and cheerful personality, she is a credit to your business. The meal was of very high quality, congratulations to your Chef and the kitchen staff, and staff service was excellent. If it was yourself who recruited and trained your staff you are to be congratulated. You have a great team. I tried to speak to most of the staff who looked after us on the day and thanked them, but I obviously did not manage to speak to everyone, especially those behind the scenes in the kitchen etc. You have a wonderful location, an outstanding product, and wonderful staff. Please thank everyone for making the day so enjoyable.

I'd just like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who made my engagement on Sunday such a dream! The whole team at Rothamsted Manor was honestly so lovely to work with, words cannot express my gratitude and happiness. From the beginning of the planning process Rebecca was amazing, so patient with all of the questions I had, so quick to reply and eager to help. Ivana was phenomenal and so detailed and thorough during the planning process, always suggesting brilliant ideas and being so accommodating and excited to help. Jez, the food and drinks were delicious! Especially the canapés were amazing, thank you so much for being so accommodating in finding me a HMC certified meat supplier, we really appreciated it so much. And finally thank you to everyone there on the day Ivana, Grace, Daria and all the other girls who helped out, the day could not have been possible without you. Each one of you went above and beyond, no ask was ever too big and you made us all feel so comfortable and looked after. My parents want to thank you all so much also. The venue is absolutely stunning and so many of our guests were asking about it and telling us how beautiful they found it. I hope you all managed to enjoy the day, thank you so much for having us and all of your kind sweet words on Sunday.
