Rookesbury Park

Wonderful magical wedding day at Rookesbury park. Etta and her staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They catered for our every need and wete kind and helpful. Moving through the impressive entrance hall and rooms to the beautiful grounds where we enjoyed reception drinks. Then enjoying a delicious meal and flowing wine in the stunning orangery where the sun came down and we danced to a great band into the night. A day we will always remember.

Everybody was so helpful, they made the whole day so easy & all the staff are an absolutely credit to Rookesbury. Our photographer has taken some stunning shots of Rookesbury, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer venue or staff. I honestly cannot recommend the staff enough, from the kitchen staff, groundsmen, to the man I kept bothering while he was trying to wash up, everyone just wanted us to have a nice time!

Step and Kate were overwhelmed!! Incredible! It took me a while to recover!! Yourself and team were amazing! Rookesbury is a very special place, we fell in love!! Are any of the grounds open to public? I would enjoy visiting again.

Etta and the team did the most incredible job making sure our day was the best! The food was amazing and all the finishing touches were considered and carried out with perfection. Couldn’t ask for a better day and would recommend this venue to anyone getting married, we wish we could do it all over again!

Well it's been a whole year since we had the most amazing wedding day at Rookesbury on 9th September 2022. All of our friends and family are still saying how amazing it was and how beautiful the venue is. We have been inundated with messages today from people saying it was the best wedding day and venue they'd been too. (This is no joke it's taken us ages to reply to them all!!) We truly had the most amazing day and many happy memories. We still cannot thank you and the team enough!

As Rooksbury is local we are always happy to set up the day before, provide a speaker with an ipod for the wedding breakfast and a radio microphone for use with the speeches. On this occaison the bridal party were putting the finishing touches to the room and it was nice to get a taste of the excitement and anticipation of the following day. The Orangery is perfect if you want a band AND a DJ for the evening as there is plenty of room for both.

Well what can I tell you about Rookesbury Park it is a little kept secret wedding venue with amazing 360 views and full of character it is currently undergoing some very pretty restoration in the main entrance hall and it is looking great, I can not wait to photograph here again. It is now one of my most favourite wedding venues in Hampshire. The drive way leading up to the house is amazing so beautiful especially this time of year when the fields are all yellow!

It was a pleasure to shoot this Rookesbury Park wedding, mainly because Sarah and Dan made it easy – they radiated happiness all day and were really up for any ideas I had to utilise the beautiful Wickham wedding venue – I particularly love the shots outside of the manor house. A big thanks to them for allowing me to explore venues for cool features, making for some really interesting photographs!

From day one the team have been amazing. I did change my mind quite a few times (okay maybe four!) and she was totally accommodating each and every time. The staff at Rookesbury became like family and they delivered above and beyond.
