Priston Mill

Priston Mill is a beautiful wedding venue which made our big day extra special. The venue itself is stunning, surrounded by gorgeous scenery (we had our reception in The Watermill). Of course it helped that we were very lucky with the weather, so we were able to spend a lot of time outside in the grounds of the venue, but even if it had rained, it would have still been lovely! The staff are amazing, Katherine and Chloe were really proactive and so willing to help in whatever way they could. The food was delicious - I have to admit I was a little nervous about that part as they weren't able to offer us a tasting session when we booked them, so I wasn't 100% sure about what to expect. But the food was fantastic, we had a lot of comments from guests on how good it was. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

We are so delighted we chose Priston Mill as our wedding venue in November 2022. The venue is beautiful! A special thank you to Chris, who ran the day so smoothly and professionally. We were able to relax and enjoy our Wedding Day knowing that everything had been thought of, and was completely in hand. The transitions from ceremony to dinner to dancing was all done so seamlessly. We were fortunate to have a warm sunny day for November, and we were pleased to be able to take photos in the beautiful grounds as well. Thank you for wonderful memories, and for going above and beyond to ensure we had a beautiful Wedding Day!

We had our wedding at Priston Mill in July 2022. It was the most amazing day and couldn’t fault the venue, the location is perfect. From start to finish contact was great and the service was complimented by all on the day (especially the food!!). Clara was our main point of contact on the build up and on the main day and we felt very assured and everything ran smoothly with her help. Would highly recommend Priston Mill to anyone and can’t think them enough for making our special day so great!

Our wedding was during the heatwave in August 2022 and it was over 36C on the day. All of the staff were absolute heros, when all most people would want to do is flop in the shade, there were running around making sure the venue looked spectacular and our guests were looked after. They were really friendly, professional and flexible both in the run up, and during the day itself in making sure our wedding was perfect. A huge thank you once again to everyone at Prison Mill!

Our guests constantly talk about how amazing the food was at our wedding - they also loved the barn's surroundings and the kids (& groomsmen) loved the zip wire!

We had the best day of our lives at The watermill. It is such a beautiful secluded spot in the valleys. The grounds are gorgeous and we got married outside under the pagoda. The watermill looks like a Mediterranean venue and hardly needed any decorations at all. The staff went above and beyond for us and the food was delicious which kept out guests very happy.

Dear Clara, Gabby, Chris and the Priston Mill Team, I know that my mum has emailed you already but Greg and I also wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for everything you did to enable us to have a wedding that far exceeded our expectations and was a dream to organise - even in a shorter than usual time frame. You were all so helpful and friendly in the pre-wedding stages. The food was delicious and we're grateful for the kitchen's flexibility with the menus. Gabby and the team were absolutely brilliant on the day, which meant that we felt totally relaxed and were able to enjoy the event. We also loved the watermill and the gardens and the park was a huge hit with our friends and family. We're so glad we found Priston Mill and are only sorry that it's all over! You made our day run smoothly and I cannot thank you enough. Given the wedding season for you all has been super busy and you’re all probably ready for a break, you still made our day feel special and personal, nothing was too much. You and all your team were just so excellent. It’s rare you go to a wedding with such attentive waiting staff. I want to thank every single member of the team! You really made our day wonderful. Everyone is still talking about how plentiful and yummy the food was. You can tell you use high quality ingredients and a talented cheffing team! The pear and ginger upside down cake was a personal highlight! Do you make that yourselves or buy it? I need that recipe or where to buy it from in my life!! I just cannot thank you enough. Good Morning Gabby, Thank you SO much for everything you did for us on our wedding day!! You have been an absolute star throughout the final stages of our wedding planning. We had such confidence in you just from emailing, but when we met you the day before the wedding, we knew we were in the best hands. We had the most amazing day and your endless hard work throughout the entire wedding made this happen. You (and your staff) were simply outstanding! Your smiley, calm and professional approach to your job is a real asset to Priston Mill and we couldn’t have wished for anything more from you, a truly fantastic Event Manager!!! The venue looked amazing and exactly as we had pictured it, our decorations were set up perfectly, we really appreciate your efforts in the morning! A big thanks also for sorting the cake when it eventually arrived.
