Priston Mill is made up of both the 18th century Tythe Barn and gorgeous ancient Watermill which retain their distinctive characteristics that make them truly unique and much loved. The Watermill offers the option of an outdoor wedding ceremony and drinks reception set within tranquil gardens boasting manicured lawns and a lovely pergola. The Tythe Barn offers a truly beautiful inside ceremony option and large space for the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment. there is also a farmhouse onsite with six bedrooms for you and your guests to stay in the night of your wedding. Relax with panoramic views of the countryside and be treated to superb cuisine prepared on-site by the professional team on your big day.

Chloë and the team at Priston Mill were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. You can tell that they know what they are doing! The day just flowed so beautifully and Chloë brought a fun element with her great mc skills too. The food was out of this world and the quality of the wine & sparkling wine was excellent too. We didn’t have to worry about anything on the day as it was all taken care of after months of planning and great communication via email, phone calls and in person. We wish we could just do it all over again and we’d choose Priston Mill every time . Thank you again for such a magical wedding day, love from The Cottle’s. Our wedding was in the Watermill which we choose as we loved it’s character and unique charm as well as wanting to get married in the beautiful gardens. Our wedding coordinator Clara was brilliant in the lead up to the wedding day, always quick to respond to our questions and clear about timelines and what was needed from us. On the day itself, Johanna took over seamlessly, ensuring everything ran like clockwork so we could simply enjoy the moment without a single worry. All the staff on the day were amazing and attentive and they all did an amazing job. The food was also outstanding and we had so many compliments from our guests. From the very first moment of contact Liberty and the team guided us through the process ensuring all our needs were met. On the day itself Liberty our wedding coordinator and all the staff involved had everything covered and were so attentive and thoughtful right until the last guest left. I cannot thank them enough for making my dream of a beautiful country wedding come true. You guys are amazing! I cannot rate Priston Mill highly enough. The organisation, the food, the setting, our wedding coordinator Liberty were all excellent. We had so many compliments from guests who said it was the best wedding they'd been to. All of our guests commented on how smoothly the day went, and myself and my husband could enjoy the day without worrying. The kitchen team needs mentioning, as the meal and service was absolutely flawless. We can’t recommend this place enough. Priston Mill was the beautiful setting for our wedding in February 2025. The team on site were absolutely flawless. The organising before our big day was very professional and fully informative. I love Xmas time and having the Xmas tree there made it feel even more magical! Our wedding planner, Katie was great - making sure that every last detail was sorted and carried out perfectly. All other staff members did a great job also! The food was amazing. Many of the guests said that they loved the sticky toffee pudding and wanted more! I would definitely recommend this venue. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A lovely personal touch we've had recently, are personalised baubles as place names. A wonderful way to ensure their guests have a gift to take home and provide a seasonal reminder of the special memories.

The exterior of the venue is gorgeous for that all-important golden hour shot!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We recently hosted two of England's most cherished Olympic Swimmers... we won't disclose names but it was definitely a party to remember!
What’s your favourite canapé?
The Parma Ham wrapped Sausages are always the quickest off the shelves! These are guaranteed to be enjoyed fully by your guests. For a vegan or vegetarian option, I'd recommend the Katsu Arancini, absolutely scrumptious!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We are obsessed with the brand new Priston Skewers option.. what could be better?
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Gifted by King Athelstan to the monks of Bath Abbey in the 10th century, the Watermill, is quite simply the kind of location people dream of. The Watermill is an enchanting and ancient building. Steeped in history, it is a fascinating and unique setting for a wedding.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our reputation. We feel so privileged to have built up a fantastic reputation in Bath and surrounding areas, not only for the level of service that we provide, but also the food! Our chefs go above and beyond to surprise and delight!
