Melissa, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home and allowing us to get married in such a historic and magical place. We are so grateful to you, Mel, and the whole team for looking after us so well and making our day so special. Nothing was too much trouble and you made every aspect of our day perfect and flawless. I’m so glad we chose Pauntley Court for a day we will never forget.

Our wedding weekend at Pauntley Court was perfect in every way. We chose Pauntley as the house itself is beautiful, the interior has been restored and decorated to the highest standard and still feels super homely and comfortable. On top of this the surrounding grounds are stunning, with multiple areas filled with trees, flowers and neatly trimmed hedges to explore, it made the perfect backdrop to our wedding ceremony and reception!

If you are looking for an intimate wedding venue, I don’t think you can do better than the location and the team at Pauntley Court. The setting is superb, highly photogenic inside and out, and an amazing place to spend a few days. The attention to detail in the house is outstanding, whether in the formal rooms or the kitchen, where we found everything could possibly need (and a lot more!). From the outset we were extremely well looked after by Melissa and the team.

Using the venue for the whole weekend and everything you could have needed was available. It was also nice that we were trusted to host our guests on the Friday and Sunday without staff being present but were available if and when required. We feel that Holly made our day run so smoothly and she was very attentive. She continually supported us from the start of our planning, right up until the last dance.

Pauntley Court is such a special place. In the initial stages of our wedding planning, we struggled to find a space that would work for our 15 person micro-wedding. When we found Pauntley, I knew it was meant to be. Melissa is a lovely host, who diligently checked in on us to make sure everything worked as it should. Our wedding coordinator Holly was also an invaluable asset. The day wouldn't have run so smoothly without her. Pauntley's gardens are breath taking, and so nicely kept by Melissa's mum. They were the perfect backdrop to our special day and featured heavily in our pictures. Our wedding day was perfect and it meant so much to us that we could have it at Pauntley Court. And the fact that we were able to spend the whole weekend there with our families made it all the more special. I couldn't recommend Pauntley Court enough to prospective brides and grooms.

Pauntley Court is simply a magical place. The whole place exudes romance, with another beautiful spot to sit or stroll through around every corner. Part of what makes Pauntley so special is that, despite it's 11 bedrooms, formal entertaining rooms and immaculate gardens, it immediately felt like home to us and to all our guests who stayed with us. It balances its historic character with all the benefits of modernity (such as modern en suites with seemingly limitless hot water!). We were given the run of the house, with the knowledge that Melissa would be there in a flash if needed. On our wedding day itself, Melissa and our wedding coordinator Holly were then when we needed them, keeping the day running like clockwork and unobtrusively ensuring everything came together as planned. In addition, Rachel the housekeeper kept the whole house looking immaculate throughout our stay. We can't recommend Pauntley enough. Its inherent beauty meant there was very little decorating necessary for the wedding. It's owners and staff were friendly, kind and accommodating. I can't imagine a better place to have a small wedding."

"After a long wait due to the Covid situation, we recently had our wedding reception at the beautiful Pauntley Court in July. After seeing many venue options when we first got engaged, Pauntley stood out from the rest by a mile, not only because of the beautiful house and gardens, but also because of the wonderful venue hosts, Melissa and Mark. They were both extremely helpful throughout all the Covid changes and were so supportive in the lead up and day of the wedding. The house is absolutely stunning inside and out, the pink painted walls feel as though you're abroad and you're surrounded by wild seasonal flowers and amazing views of the lake. We got married at the Church at the top of the drive, then had our reception in a traditional style marquee in the gardens. Our bridal party loved staying in the house for the weekend, everyone felt very relaxed like a home away from home. The wedding was truly perfect and we can't wait to go back and stay at the Dovecote in the future! Thank you to Melissa, Mark and their brilliant team at Pauntley!"
