The room can seat 150 but is versatile for the smaller weddings too. Our stunning ballroom can sit 120 guests for dinner including a dancefloor and can be set up and decorated in accordance with your wishes. With its glittering chandeliers and separate bar area you can serve your guests in style before the party gets going well into the evening. You don’t need to worry about a thing. We’ve got this. The Hall of Champions, to offer a new flexible space with natural light, complete with its own entrance for the bride and groom’s arrival. . It features floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto an outdoor terrace, with views over the golf course, ideal for drinks receptions. The Hall of Champions seats 450 guests, making it perfect for larger wedding ceremonies or receptions. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married. We live down in Kent. Could not have asked for a more perfect day! All the arrangements had to be made from a distance. I really felt like Jess had taken the time to get to know me as a person, very encouraging of my ideas and wishes. Staff at the hotel are so lovely I cannot fault any of them. Food also great. Our wedding at the Old Course Hotel was nothing short of magical. From the breathtaking surroundings to the elegant interiors, the entire venue created the most incredible setting for our special day. The ambiance was warm and luxurious, and everything from the décor to the lighting was just perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and paired with an excellent wine selection that our guests are still talking about. The staff were outstanding, attentive & professional.Our wedding at the Old Course Hotel was nothing short of magical. From the breathtaking surroundings to the elegant interiors, the entire venue created the most incredible setting for our special day. We felt totally listened to and were given great advice about how to make our day special – from bigger picture things and timings for the day all the way down to the finer details with the linen consultation. This was felt from the initial enquiry, to the menu tasting and stay, to the big day itself. Our wedding day flowed smoothly and seamlessly and we both felt really relaxed. The conservatory for the drinks reception and ballroom for the meal and rest of the evening were perfect settings.We felt totally listened to and were given great advice about how to make our day special – from bigger picture things and timings for the day all the way down to the finer details with the linen consultation. This was felt from the initial enquiry, to the menu tasting and stay, to the big day itself. Our wedding day flowed smoothly and seamlessly and we both felt really relaxed. We had the most amazing wedding thanks to the Old Course Hotel! Our wedding coordinator, Jess, was so amazing and made the process so easy as we were coming in from Texas to get married. The entire day was absolutely perfect and we can't thank them enough! Such a beautiful venue with the most amazing staff! Jessica was our wedding planner and she did the most amazing job of making everything perfect - and was just such a lovely person! The communication was always great, and they were so amazing with any requests we had. Although we had just 8 guests, this beautiful room with its breathtaking views, felt cosy and intimate thanks to Jess and team creating the right floor plan and set up for us. From the moment we enquired about the venue, Jess and the team were beyond helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The whole process was smooth and stress free but above all personal. We loved every second of our intimate wedding reception in the Conservatory at the Old Course Hotel. Travel Notes

By Road: Just off the A91, immediately adjacent to the St Andrews Links courses and a five-minute walk from the heart of the town. The A91 joins with the national motorway network at Junction 8 of the M90, which runs from Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, one hour to the south to the old market town of Perth in the north. Glasgow is 90 minutes away, via the M90 and M8. By Rail: Guests arrive at Leuchars Railway Station four miles away, which connects with Edinburgh and the national network. Regular services to London and all mainland UK station and to the rest of Europe by Eurostar and the Channel Tunnel. By Bus: St Andrews has excellent transport links, including the St Andrews Bus Station which is a short ten minute walk from the resort. The bus station operates services to Leuchars, Dundee, Glasgow, and Edinburgh as well as Eastern Fife. Guests can also get the bus to and from the Old Course Hotel stance on the A91, just a two minute walk from the resort. You can plan your journeys to and from St Andrews on the Stage Coach website. By Air Regular domestic flights (1-hour flight time from London) and European services to Edinburgh Airport. Regular service from London Heathrow to Dundee Airport (20 minutes drive). Transatlantic flights land at Glasgow Airport. Private aircraft can land at Leuchars Airforce Base (5 minutes drive) by prior arrangement. Aircraft up to Boeing 737s can land here, and it is possible to have customs and immigration facilities.
