If Only We Could Do It All Again Tomorrow!

We loved The Ocean Suite from the first moment we walked in. Jimi and his team made planning our special day seamless and from start to finish everything was perfect! The weather held out meaning the panoramic views where amazing all day, also enabling us to us the terraces to full potential. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was too much to ask for. We highly recommend for any event!

The best day of our lives

Our love story starts on a day I was early to catch my flight to go on a Summer cruise back in 2016, Charles friend changed their cruise dates last minute and so by chance we all ended up on the cruise ship Oceania. After a chance meeting on the dance floor in the cheesy là Club we sort each other out every day and night and by pure luck we ended up at one another’s dinner tables followed by many a night of drinking wine and watching the sun come up. When the cruise ended Charles went home to exmouth and I went home to Yorkshire, we formed a relationship long distance and once I saw Exmouth I knew I needed to return to the sea. So we bought a house, we had a little girl, he proposed and after a long lockdown he convinced me not to elope on a cruise so we decided to throw a big wedding bash. I’d been to the Ocean suite doing yoga & fell in love with the venue, Charles had one look and instantly agreed, picturesque views, soft play for the kids, great food, we didn’t need to look further. The weather was perfect 28 degrees on the day and all the photos turned out amazing! Thank you to everyone at Ocean! xxx

Perfect wedding venue!

Ocean’s top floor function suite is the perfect wedding venue with incredible views and great space for a party! With seamless indoor and outdoor space for guests to have plenty of space to enjoy the unrestricted views of exmouth beach! All our guests said what a beautiful venue it was and had never been to a wedding venue like it. The large bar area and dance floor means you have plenty of room for an unforgettable party. We went for the BBQ catering with was just great, there was so much food and everyone loved the buffet set up! Everything was cooked fresh and was all delicious! The events team couldn’t do enough for us and went above and beyond to give us the perfect day and allowed us to have exactly what we wanted, they were super flexible and really really accommodating.

Anniversary party

We had a fantastic party in The Deck on the second floor. We had a dj, flower wall, balloons, cake, games, and our own cocktail menu set up for our guests. Staff were very accommodating and reasonably priced.

Perfect wedding venue for a sea loving couple!

Despite the weather trying to scupper our wedding day, the events team at Ocean pulled out all the stops for being the wedding indoors with the perfect, albeit blowing a hoolie backdrop of Exmouth beach. We had the most amazing wedding day. Thank you Jimi for being fabulous.

Daughters wedding was so special

Most amazing location

utility and views are outstanding

From the outset we wanted to secure the top floor of Ocean, the space, utility and views are outstanding. Our very first interaction with the events team was positive and we could not have asked for a more flexible and informative experience. They were very thorough and nothing was missed in the delivery of the day. We ordered food for the guests and I was dubious at first with the contents of the packed meals, but they were very good and our guests loved them !

beautifully presented tables in the Deck

We were sat across two beautifully presented tables in the Deck restaurant, with lovely tasteful christmas decorations and atmosphere. The food itself was tasty, good portion sizes and came out in a timely manner. Staff were quick to respond to our requests and were able to accommodate various dietary needs. Thank you Ocean for a great experience!

Describe the best wedding that happened at Ocean?

There's so many to choose from! However, Sophie & Sam were a dream to work with and they had so many ideas that we ran with. From sparklers, dress changes, a 3 course dinner, décor, the land train to deliver all their guests, a boat ride to the venue, BBQ, ANT & DEC video call and one huge party. I absolutely adored them and all of their guests; Sophie and her mum collaborated with me and we all had so many creative suggestions down to the smallest detail. Quote by Jimi
