- SSophie & Carl31/12/2025The perfect wedding day!The perfect wedding day!We had our wedding at Newton Hall in August this year and it was an absolute dream of a day from start to finish. We knew from the first time we stepped into the Garden Suite at Newton Hall that it would be the perfect venue for us - the decoration of the venue is stunning and the views are absolutely spectacular. All of the different spaces within the venue are beautifully decorated and well cared for - we saved a lot of money on decor because there was so little we needed to add! We loved working with our wedding coordinated Hannah throughout the process - she was so easy to communicate with throughout and answered all of our many questions so knowledgeably! Our on the day coordinator Becca was also brilliant and made sure everything went absolutely seamlessly. From start to finish, we felt that we were in really safe hands and were well looked after. The food and drink throughout the day were lovely and it was amazing to have such a wide selection to choose from for each element of the day. We went with a relaxed BBQ for our wedding breakfast and it was delicious! The accommodation at the venue was lovely and very easy to book and coordinate. It was great to have so many options for our family and friends to stay in beyond the rooms in the main house as it meant anyone who wanted to stay nearby was easily able to. We also had a gorgeous meal the night before at The Joiners Arms. By far the highlight of the venue for us was the stunning location - we loved going down to the beach for photos in the evening and we feel so lucky that we’ll always be able to return there to relive the moment! We don't live locally and at least 3 hours drive away and nothing was ever a problem, only a phone call or email away from an anxious/excited bride. Lauren was our wedding planner and she made everything so smooth and organised. New everything we wanted and if we needed last minute changes, did these with no hesitation. The venue itself is breathtaking, hence why we choose it. Everything we had planned and organised was perfect, you could really tell they had listened to us and my imagine of what I wanted the vene to look like. It was amazing and everything I could have wished for. The food was incredible, we came for a food tasting in the December and again in the February to confirm our dishes. *This is at a cost* but they do inform you of this in the contract and when you book the venue. The staff on the day were incredible, it all went to plan and nothing was ever tok much trouble. Thank you for everything you did for us! We had our wedding at Newton Hall, this year April 2025. I could talk for hours about how PERFECT this venue, the employees and our day was but I will try and summarise. • Lauren our wedding coordinator. Incredibly friendly and professional. Always checking in with us throughout the lead up to the day. Nothing was too much trouble and no question went unanswered. • Andrew our host on our wedding day. We met Andrew at our tasting evening and knew straight away we wanted to requested him for our wedding day. He is so knowledgable, full of personality and very professional. He was also such a calming presence in the important moments. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else. •Newton Hall staff - cannot fault a single person. From our on the day coordinator, to reception, to waiters, bar staff, chef. FAULTLESS. We don’t have a single complaint or room for improvement comment. They couldn’t do enough for us and our day went without a single hitch, or none we were aware off! It’s a well oiled machine and everything ran so smoothly. The food is so above your standard wedding food, we got so many compliments on it. The bedrooms, each unique, special and luxurious. The grounds of the venue are exceptional and make beautiful backdrops for photos, as well as the general location of being near the beach. We chose Newton hall as we didn’t feel we had to compromise on anything. Beautiful accommodation and a beautiful wedding venue. We had a family dinner the night before at The Joiners Arms which I strongly recommend! We had family on site, at the Joiners and in the Garden Rooms and everyone loved every second. If we could do the day again, we jump at every chance and we have Newton Hall and everyone at the Apartment Group to thank for that. The staff made everything run so smoothly, gave all our guests a welcome to the venue and everyone felt so looked after. The venue is absolutely stunning and they kept us updated throughout the whole day. The weather was a little drizzly but the venue is so beautiful it didn’t affect our day! We had 0 worries on the day and all of the setting up went as perfectly as I would have hoped. I honestly can not thank everyone at Newton hall for giving us such a memorable day. If I could do it all again tomorrow I really would and wouldn’t change a thing! The venue was simply stunning with all our guests saying how much they enjoyed yhe day. The food was beautiful and nothing was any bother for the staff. Can i just give massive praise for Lucy our wedding coordinator on the day, she was absolutely superb, totally calm when maybe we were a littel stressed !… if we could give her 11/10 we would !…. Also Andrew the Master of Ceromonies, he was also fantastic…… We would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone. Ps defo get the magic mist for your 1st dance, the best money we spent !From the start of the process to our wedding day itself we couldnt be happier. I am so glad I chose this venue. The staff were absolutely amazing , big shoutout to Hannah and Lucy our coordinators and Mariana in accommodation. Nothing was too much of an ask and it’s a really skill that they can make the day so seamless and magical for the couple we didn’t not need to worry about a thing. We have stayed in the hot tub rooms multiple times before too and they are so luxurious and a lovely area to stay in. Also a big shout out to our toast master Andrew who was incredible and made the order of the day effortless. Our guest had the most amazing time and we had so many compliments about the bedrooms and the venue itself it has so many amazing places for pictures with the photographer.
