Firstly, what an incredible venue! We got married on Saturday and it had to be the rainiest day of the year so far, did that stop us from having the best day of our lives? Absolutely not. From the minute we stepped foot in netherbyres we knew we had found our venue, not only did Mike and Sarah make us feel so welcome but they also took such an interest in all our ideas and plans. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had a seamless day, no request was too much for them and trust me, we had a few! The staff here are incredible and will bend over backwards to make sure you and your guests have the perfect day. We received so many compliments for picking such a gorgeous, unique and fun venue. If you are looking for something slightly less traditional with a whole lot of colour and personality then this is the place for you! Sarah, Mike and everyone else who made Saturday possible we are incredibly grateful. I wish we could do it all over again!

We’ve just returned from 3 days at Netherbyres so thought it best to get this review posted whilst everything is fresh in our minds! 18 months ago we visited Netherbyres with our daughter and future (now) some in law, they’d seen pictures online and loved what they saw. Upon seeing the place first hand they were even more certain that this was for them and their very special day. So, fast forward 18 months and one wedding later, the most amazing experience was had by everyone who joined us, including the bride and groom of course! Mike & Sarah love their jobs that’s for sure, it’s like you’re working with people who completely “get” that this is the biggest day in the lives of their clients. As father of the bride (and mother of the bride agrees BTW) we genuinely could not have wished for a better venue, I can’t fault one things, it was lovely. Hollie and Conor are over the moon, memories of these last couple of days will be with them forever, thanks Mike & Sarah for making the amazing day even more wonderful. Wowza - we are still recovering from our most amazing 3-day wedding celebration at Netherbyres House at the start of May 2024 :) The venue is owned and run by absolute dream team Sarah & Mike - they are the most wonderful mix of professional, fun and relaxed (and just generally super cool). We were so impressed on meeting them, and viewing the amazing house interiors and grounds, that we officially got engaged 30 minutes after viewing the house, and booked straight in! We were eager for relaxed, fun and stress-free vibes, in a modern, funky yet elegant venue - and this is exactly what the Netherbyres Team delivered. Communication with the team was clear and easy from Day 1. We were given very helpful planning info (and list of recommended suppliers) to help guide the process - so we had the freedom and confidence to custom build our own wedding weekend, with plenty of inspiration and support. All our friends and family had an absolute ball and we are so grateful for Sarah & Mike bringing Netherbyres House back to life (and then some!) with their colourful, eclectic and absolutely charming design. Each bedroom is an individual work of art, and the brekkies and meals there (cooked by S&M!) were delicious. We were blessed with Northern Lights and sunshine all weekend, but this venue has enough charm to rock it out in a thunderstorm. This is 'Scotland's Party Home of the Year'. Well what can I say... my sister got married here yesterday and we have all had the most amazing time!! We arrived on the Friday and from start to finish it was the most fabulous experience! Sarah, Mike and Leanne couldn't do enough for any of us!! They were all so incredibly friendly, welcoming and just really lovely people! If I could give 10 stars 🌟 I would as there aren't enough superlatives in the English dictionary to describe how amazing it was!! All I can say is thank you for giving my sister and my lovely brother in law the best day of their lives! Thank you!! Xxx

What a wedding weekend! We fell in love with Netherbyres from the first viewing, there is really nothing quite like it in Scotland. Gorgeous grounds, stunning big house that has been renovated in such a fun, colourful way by the amazing Sarah & Mike. The hosts, Sarah & Mike, made the whole wedding planning experience a total dream. There is everything you need at Netherbyres, with a great wine selection and well stocked bar for the weekend, it is impossible not to have the best time (and sore head on Sunday!) The espresso martinis were a particular favourite, delicious. Incredible weekend, everything we dreamed of, thank you both! xx

Just spent the most amazing weekend at Netherbyres, celebrating our daughters wedding. Calling Netherbyres a 'venue' is just not enough. It's a place that absorbs you totally and you can feel the love Mike and Sarah have put into it, in every single space. We all felt that it was our own private residence! Mike and Sarah provided us with the Friday evening grazing table as well as fabulous breakfasts on the Saturday and Sunday. Delicious! The wines were amazing and very reasonablely priced. We,ll be back just for the Malbec! It was an absolute privilege to have them open their home to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You guys rock!

Brilliant, cosy and personalised from start to finish. Venue itself is absolutely spellbinding and finished to a high standard. Rooms are spacious and gorgeously quirky. Mike & Sarah were extremely accommodating - we were a button hole short and Sarah made one herself using flowers from the arch! Felt very chilled in their presence and they were so friendly and approachable. If you want an intimate, eclectic venue where you can create your own wedding in full, we recommend this ten times over.

If you are looking for home away from home for a wedding venue, then Netherbyres ticks all the boxes. Sarah & Mike have obviously put a lot of time and effort in creating the perfect wedding venue. Netherbyres house has so many unique and amazing spots for spending time with your loved ones, taking photos, sipping on the amazing drink options and getting married!! We had the freedom to select our own venders, many of which were recommended by Sarah & Mike. Both hosts were very friendly and got on well with our guests, making them feel very welcome. We honestly could not have picked a better venue to tie the knot. The building and grounds are stunning! The main room was transformed in no time from a ceremony into a dining area and then to a party room. All whilst we sipped drinks in gorgeous bar area. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue. Thank you Sarah & Mike.

Every single one of our guests commented on just how wonderful the venue, the staff and the owners were - and we couldn't agree more! From the minute we got in the door, everything we needed was dealt with in such a timely manner and if there was any issues on the day, we would've never known! We can never thank Sarah and Mike enough for everything they did on our wedding weekend, and we would truly encourage anyone who is considering Nethebyres House!

We fell in love with Netherbyres when we visited, it was one of a few we'd shortlisted and knew it was the perfect venue. Sarah and Mike were super accommodating, showing us around their lovely place and talking us through a usual wedding day there, while also encouraging us to bring our own creative ideas for the day. For us, being an inclusive venue was also a top priority and there wasn't a shadow of a doubt that Netherbyers are.
