Milling Barn

We recently had our 'Christmas Wedding' at Milling Barn. From the first viewing we were blown away, we knew immediately that we had found where we wanted to get married. Our co-ordinator was Niamh, and we could not have asked for more. She went above and beyond to give us the most amazing day, from replying my barrage of emails to setting up and arranging a facetime with my grandad from his care home - all whilst checking in on me throughout the day. Absolutely fantastic! Not forgetting the rest of the staff, everyone was so polite and helpful and just made our day stress-free! The dressing room is beautiful and SO big! Plenty of room for me and my 4 girls, hair dresser and 2 photographers (as well as the odd person coming for a sneak-peak) plenty of tea and coffee available in the room, though cold drinks are chargeable. The Oak Barn is absolutely stunning. Photos just do not do it justice, you have to see it in person. I became so emotional the first time I viewed this, it truly is beautiful. We did worry that with it being December, we and our guests would be freezing, but not at all. There are discrete heaters on the walls which blend in and keep the room really snug. The fairy lights surrounding the beams give off the most incredible ambience and all adds to the romantic feel of the room. The main barn is spectacular. Divided in to 2 sections (Dairy barn & Main barn) and need minimal decoration to look so beautiful. We chose the Relaxed Menu for our wedding breakfast, with it being a week before Christmas day, we went for Turkey! Nearly month on and we are still hearing from our guests about the food. It really was delicious! We had a very small party for the wedding breakfast so the relaxed menu was perfect for us, we were given 4 huge turkeys which we carved at the table by 3 guests of our choice, everyone LOVED this idea! Genius! We were all ushered in to the Dairy barn whilst the main barn was set up for the evening entertainment and guests and the room was transformed. From start to finish, we had the best day thanks to Milling Barn, We're both so glad we got married here and if we had our day again, we wouldn't think twice, Milling Barn every time!

We got married at Milling Barn on the 24th June 2024. The whole experience from our first viewing to our wedding day was brilliant. Niamh and the team at Milling Barn are really well organised and have everything under control. Our day ran so smoothly and we were able to enjoy every moment of it. Milling Barn had everything we were looking for, we wanted an exclusive venue for the whole day and the bonus of accommodation. The variety of food choices made for difficult decisions, we decided on the relaxed menu which our guests loved and for the evening food, the freshly made pizza's are a must. There are so many beautiful places for the perfect photos and 0ur guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the venue was. P.S ask about DJ Mike.

We had our wedding at Milling Barn on 27th April 2024 and we could not have picked a better venue for our special day. The venue itself is so beautiful with a rustic, romantic feel and walking down the aisle in the Oak Barn was just magical. Everything was made so easy for us in terms of planning as everything is there and their dedicated wedding planners make everything run so smoothly on the day; I can’t thank Niamh and the whole team for this.

Venue was amazing . Relaxed yet classy. Roomy but at the same time cosy. The staff got everything done without being asked they were discreet and seemed to just appear when needed. Everyone loved the food. All the staff were friendly and so obliging . We didn’t have to worry about a thing it just happened . It was a dream day and so much better than we could have ever imagined. So pleased we chose The Millingbarn, we just want to do it all again .

As soon as we visited, we just knew this was the perfect venue! We feel so incredibly lucky and so grateful to have had the most amazing day! Everything was absolutely perfect and run so seamlessly with everything going exactly to plan! Mimi was brilliant, she was all over everything and there whenever we needed her. The venue is so stunning, the food was incredible and the service from everyone was just amazing! Thank you so much for the best wedding day ever!

Absolutely amazing the best day of our life’s, We just knew milling barn was the venue for us, The beautiful barns are just amazing the people at milling barn are just so kind, helpful understanding and considerate, we had an absolute blast! It couldn’t have flowed better and the venue was more than we could ever had imagined for our wedding day, we had so many guests comments on the day and the venue. We can’t thank milling barn enough!

My wife has already written a review but I wanted to say, these guys are amazing and so helpful. Samantha you know I am gonna be back to see Hugo and Hamish very very soon! Our wedding day manager Julie, oh my god the nicest lady I have ever met, she was so attentive, you'd think she was Usain Bolt with how quickly she was running around! I feel like the staff there became friends and genuinely cared about our day as much as we did. If you are looking for a venue you should pick Milling Barn 10/

Perfect wedding day at a perfect wedding venue. Massive shout out to our planner, Aimie, for being super super friendly, organised, relaxed and flexible throughout our whole experience. The location is gorgeous- rustic barns looking out onto fields (with a great sunset) and so many lovely fairy lights. The food was outstanding, so many of our guests complimented it and said it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had...
