Millbridge Court

As a bride who wanted to elope, I dreaded nothing more than a ‘big wedding’. At Millbridge, both the venue itself and staff were nothing but welcoming and helpful, both on the lead up and on the day. Nothing was too much to ask and the food was incredible. 😍 I’d recommend Millbridge 100 times over. We had 80 guests and the set up in both the ceremony hall and dinning hall were perfect. Everything ran smoothly and the staff were nothing but pleasant and helpful. My husband particularly liked ‘The Den’ where he and his groomsman could get ready and enjoy a drink before everyone arrived. It was a nice touch to have compared to other venues which only consider the brides getting ready space.

What can I say about Millbridge, everything about it is amazing. Millbridge was right at the top of our venue budget and, when we went to see it, it was to rule it out but, the moment we stepped foot inside we knew this was our venue. We didn’t pick Millbridge, Millbridge picked us. not only did it look fantastic, I could go on about how amazing it looks, simple and elegant that could be a blank slate for someone who wants a lot of decorations or, in our case, good enough to keep simple. We just had a moon gate and light curtain behind the top table. there’s so much light in the ceremony and dining rooms and the high ceilings mean that the venues is light, spacious and airy. The bride’s area is lovely, a good size, great lighting and the perfect place to get ready but, for me, it was the little area I called the man cave above The Lodge that sold it. this was a great little area above one of the rooms for the groom’s party to get ready, perfect for a cheeky pre-wedding whisky. www had seen other venues and always felt rushed when being shown around, this was not the case with Millbridge, they were so nice and really took their time to go through everything with us. they will tell you that all they do is weddings and they are they know what they’re doing; believe them, they are not lying. the staff are all clearly very passionate about providing your dream wedding, they go above and beyond and take care of everything, from looking around to on the day. On the day the staff have perfected the art of blending in to the background so you don’t notice them but, their awareness of when you need something borders on the telepathic and they are right there, ready to help you with what you need. I have to mention Kalm Kitchen who Millbridge use. you might want research caters and find the best option for you; don’t bother. They’ll never be as good as Kalm Kitchen. The food was incredible, the menu was amazing and the staff fantastic. I have tow friends that are professional chefs in the hospitality industry and they spent the whole night raving about the food and the service, how attentive everyone was and how good the food was. I have a very fussy aunt and uncle who complain about everything no matter where they go, they could not find anything to complain about. Kalm Kitchen did their venison well done on request and offered my other uncle a fruit salad as he is on a sugar free diet. All requirements are taken care of. We opted for a cocktail station just after the reception and hot chocolate station in the evening. that hot chocolate station looked amazing and almost stole the show. Millbridge is the perfect wedding venue, it might have been at the top end of our budget but considering how stress free they made everything, that exceptionally high standard of service and with Kalm Kitchen being so good, it felt like we got an absolute bargain. Mill bridge is the ultimate wedding venue, they will bend over backwards to make your wedding perfect. Forget the rest and go with the best, book Millbridge and you will not regret it.

Honestly, couldn’t recommend Millbridge enough! From our very first viewing right up until after the wedding. They were there every step of the way, making the planning process so easy and straight forward. The details and date nights were so much fun and so helpful! Everything on the day ran so smoothly and that’s thanks to Millbridge, they just took control of everything. I’m so happy we had our special day there and would recommend them to anyone getting married!

Millbridge Court was actually the first venue we looked at and we fell in love with it instantly. Where to begin?! We got married at Millbridge in September and it was the most amazing day from start to finish. We fell in love with it from our first visit and knew it was the one. If you’re considering booking Millbridge Court for your upcoming wedding…without any hesitation…do it!! We just got married there last Saturday and from our first viewing right the way through to our wedding day, everything was absolutely outstanding! I can't recommend Millbridge Court enough! From the very first walkthrough we knew we had to get married here. The ceremony and dining halls are beautiful, the grounds are incredibly well maintained, and the rooms (especially The Hideaway) are lovely. The whole team was absolutely fantastic during the planning stage and answered every question I had promptly and thoroughly. We booked some of Millbridge Court's recommended suppliers (including our fab photographer Sophie Duckworth and musician Thom Morley) – the list is a brilliant resource and saves on research time. We had the best day of our lives, having our wedding at Millbridge was a dream come true. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish, the staff made everything so easy for us, so acccomodating and flexible. Leaving us with absolutely no worries on the day or after. It was the most beautiful venue, better than we had ever imagined and all our guests had an amazing day as well - many commenting on how stunning the venue and the grounds were.
