The Manor is available as an exclusive use, dry hire reception venue, with complete flexibility for you to create your ideal wedding from the most formal to a country fayre, intimate or elaborate. The house helps create the most fabulous family weddings, as there is time either side of the big day to spend time with your dearest friends and family. There is no pressure to check out, just plenty of time to enjoy.
You can choose between use of the house for the day, or the grounds only for a marquee or as a whole with grounds for the marquee and include accommodation for you and your family and friends where you can continue your party with say, a BBQ the next day. Whichever option you choose, the Manor becomes your home exclusively for the duration of your celebration.
The house is also ideal for smaller weddings with the Dining Room formally seating 36 for your wedding breakfast then another 14 guests joining for dancing in the evening, or a reception for up to 50 guests in a less formal manner. For larger groups, marquees for up to 350 guests sit well on the lawns with the Grade II listed house, built originally in 1540, becoming a beautiful backdrop. The house has seven stylish guest rooms with a mix of double, twin and family/group rooms, which can be configured for up to 23 guests. And of course, the pool is heated and there is a sauna for your house guests use. A house manager is available and on site throughout your stay.
We provide a choice of approved marquee and catering companies. Our selection of caterers covers all tastes from BBQs to formal dining, although you are welcome to bring your own caterer once approved by us, and we do not charge for corkage; all other suppliers can be your own choice. There is ample secure parking with a car park attendant included in all rates. You will have access to the grounds before and after your rental for decoration, deliveries and the like.
Late night extension only available inside.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Manor of Hurst?
There have been so many wonderful ones, but in these strange covid times, we hosted a wedding this summer ( 2020) which had been moved from venue to venue, date to date, then had its numbers drastically cut, and yet it was totally magical and the most fabulous weekend for the bride and groom, their family and friends. A big surprise
