Here at Maidens Barn we have the space and facilities to cater for your entire wedding day โ from your preparation in the morning to a delicious locally sourced breakfast with your guests the following morning. We are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies inside the stunning Oak Barn and of course, for outdoor weddings in the garden underneath the flowering wedding arbour.
You would start your morning in the Granary getting ready with your closest friends & family, we also have a 2nd prep room within the Elm Barn where your partner can get ready. The stunning Oak Barn provides the perfect setting for both intimate weddings as well as larger wedding celebrations, seating up to 200 people if necessary. Chairs can be arranged with 6 on each side of the aisle in a traditional format or in a more relaxed curve if you prefer. The stunningly simple space within the Oak Barn has a high, beamed roof and picture window offers a magnificent space for wedding ceremonies. The numerous French doors open out onto the courtyard allowing the outside, in!
Again, this space can be adapted perfectly for intimate weddings or larger wedding ceremonies โ the choice is yours. Guests can be seated facing the picture windows in various configurations (depending on your numbers) and all looking out onto the ancient Oak Tree. We have 14 bedrooms in the Hayloft Barn which sleeps up to 29 adults, as well the Honeymoon Cottage for the newlyweds. This is a warm and intimate wedding venue, providing a blank canvas for you to decorate. Rustic arches and terracotta flower pots work well within this space but so do white aisle runners and modern pedestals.

The team were amazing - absolute pros the whole day and made sure everything ran smoothly, including with the added challenge of having our 16 month old as part of our bridal party. Everything went perfectly and I felt so calm and chill all morning knowing Mercedes and the team were on top of everything. Thank you so so much Maidens Barn - we're so pleased we chose you as our venue for our special day! Love Mr & Mrs Child We got married on saturday at Maidens Barn and it was absolutely everything we could have wished for! The day ran so smoothly without any issues. If youโre thinking of booking Maidens Barn , do it! We didnโt look at any other venues and on the 1st visit on the rainiest day in November it still stole our hearts. The grounds are stunning! Absolutely no stone was left unturned when helping us to plan our big day. Communication from everyone on the team is outstanding, and this made things 10x easier for us in terms of booking things. Without Team Maidens we would not have had the day we wanted! They were even moving chairs and mopping floors 5 minutes before the ceremony after the heavens opened on us! Thank you all for helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. The best thing though is the staff and they are so attentive, personable and make your day feel like it's so special. I would recommend this venue to anybody and we just wanted to do our wedding day again and again because of how good it was. Brilliant experience!Maidens Barn is the perfect place for a wedding, the venue is really pretty, straightforward to get around and the places for photo opportunities are brilliant. They made everything run smoothly, and made sure we were up to date on anything happening. Every single person who came to our wedding loved it so much, complimented the food, and the staff! Maidens barn is the most incredible venue, our guests absolutely loved it they were all amazed at how stunning the barn really is. It has character, style, itโs sophisticated, it has stunning grounds and fantastic outdoor spaces and most of all the perfect staff. When we first had our viewing in November 2024, we met Mercedes (who really did have a big impact on us deciding to go with Maidens barn, sheโs amazing) and from then on we have had the most fantastic experience planning a wedding. Mercedes, Sam, Elliot, Natalia and the rest of the Maidens barn team all made the process so incredibly seamless, I had so many questions and emails, nothing was a hassle and they all responded within an hour or at least got back to me the same day. I felt at ease all through the process from day one to our wedding day. On the day Mercedes, Sam and Elliot all made us feel comfortable and at home, the guests have raved so much about the friendly staff since the day. So thank you once again. The venue speaks for itself, again our guests have all said what a stunning venue it was. The most special moment for me was when our car drove into the courtyard of Maidens barn with our guests all waiting there for our arrival from the Church, Sam handed us a drink and we were so ready to celebrate at such a wonderful venue. Weโve had so many people comment on how incredible the food was, the canapรฉs, wedding breakfast and the evening pizza were all 5*. A special thank you to all at Maidens Barn, what a wonderful venue and team you have, we are biased however I know in my head itโs by far the best venue for a wedding and I cannot describe just how much of a special day we had, we canโt stop talking about it and our guests too!
