Welcome to Logie Country House, a magnificent multi award winning, exclusive use Scottish Country House and Estate dating back to 1492, set in beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside in the Royal Burgh of Inverurie. Logie Country House is an extremely luxurious, relaxing, comfortable and well thought-out location to share the most memorable day of your life. The entire house (seventeen bedrooms sleeping 50) and estate can be exclusively yours for 2 -3 days and nights for your wedding celebration. Think that your budget won’t stretch to a castle? Think again. Our late availability & off peak mid week prices start from £5500 for 2 days and nights! Built in the 1680’s the original castle was extensively modified over the next 120 years and underwent a multi-million pound restoration in 2009. Imagine open fires, beautiful antiques, sumptuous bedrooms, courtyard walls, coats of arms, steeped in history, warm, cosy and now with no draughts! We have seventeen bedrooms that sleep 50 (excluding additional cot and camp beds), two large entertaining rooms, an indoor infinity pool, two superb fitted kitchens, several living rooms, a cinema, two outdoor hot tubs, a beautiful ballroom & bar, two courtyards, a private island, Highland cows, ancient woodland and rolling lawns. Entertain your close family and friends the day before your wedding or hold a BBQ the day after. There is no rush. Sit back and relax with everyone you hold dear. We can host intimate weddings for up to 50 day guests in the dining and drawing rooms of the main house, or larger weddings for 160 day guests in our purpose built ballroom & bar, set in ancient woodland, overlooking Bennachie and the River Urie. Our multi award winning in house caterers, Hudsons Catering, have over 20 years experience and will cater to you every whim & our free events managers, Gillian & Lila, will be able to assist you every step of the way. What we quote you for Logie Country House, is what you pay. We have no hidden extras.

Prices differ dependant on season and day of the week. All prices include Logie Country House and Ballroom for up to three days and nights with accommodation for 50 in 17 bedrooms. All the towels, linen, heating, tea, coffee, logs, 2 hot tubs, pool are included as are a whole host to extras (Tables, chairs, seat pads, fairy lights, PA, free wedding planner, whisky barrels, and much much more). We DO NOT charge you any hidden extras and include a whole host of things that you would normally have to pay extra for at other venues!

    My husband and I got married at Logie Country House this past weekend. We cannot fault the staff at Logie one bit. Everyone was incredibly helpful, kind and hard working. Big thank you to our wedding coordinator, Lila! The cleaning staff are also deserving of high praise too. The house itself was amazing, we arrived with everything we needed. The house was clean and tidy. Our guests who stayed at Logie loved the cosy vibes that comes with the house, which was needed as the weekend was wet and cold. The ballroom is fantastic for the ceremony and evening reception, it has a great space for all of the dancing. We loved the rustic style that it has. The decorations that come with the ballroom are so lovely and you don't need to add much to it. Another huge thank you to Stef and Tim for all the help that they gave us!     We got married at Logie last week and had the wedding of our dreams. The house fit both of our families comfortably and the pool and hot tub were great fun for the day after the wedding- our niece and nephew loved the pool inflatables especially! We planned our wedding from Southampton (having grown up and met in Aberdeen) and worried that it would be stressful planning a wedding so far away. Gillian (and the whole logie and hudsons team!) made it so easy for us. There was constant communication and zoom meetings whenever we asked to make sure everything was moving as it should in the lead up. The whole weekend was beautiful- there’s not a single thing we would have changed. Gillian and the whole logie and hudsons team made the whole day go perfectly. We always dreamed of a fairytale wedding and logie gave us that and more. The biggest thank you to Gillian, Stef (and Tim!) and all of the hudsons team, especially Lindsey.     Absolutely Incredible VenueAbsolutely Incredible Venue
    I frequently work at Logie Country House providing Bridal Makeup (often several times per month) and it is an absolutely incredible venue with a very good reputation locally & beyond. From a suppliers point of view, it really is a dream venue to work at, easy accessible car parking, great layout of rooms, plenty space & they also have a great prep room where they provide adjustable bar stools, a vanity unit, fans & great lighting. They really do think of everything! The staff are always super I frequently work at Logie Country House providing Bridal Makeup (often several times per month) and it is an absolutely incredible venue with a very good reputation locally & beyond. From a suppliers point of view, it really is a dream venue to work at, easy accessible car parking, great layout of rooms, plenty space & they also have a great prep room where they provide adjustable bar stools, a vanity unit, fans & great lighting.     Wow What a Day!Wow What a Day!
    We got married here at the beginning of the month, and wow what a day it was!! Lila was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely lovely to deal with. The house was incredible. It was immaculate, beds were comfortable - everyone had a great stay. I can’t fault anything with Logie, would highly recommend if you are looking for a wedding venue, you wouldn’t be making a mistake booking here!We got married here at the beginning of the month, and wow what a day it was!!     My wife and I got married at Logie Country House at the end of May and we are so happy we picked Logie as our venue for our special weekend. From the initial walk around with Stef we knew this was the place we were going to get married. The communication was fantastic throughout and the team at Logie made it a seamless process from start to finish. Lila was our coordinator and did a fantastic job not only in the lead up to the weekend but on the actual day as well. She is very well organised and helped us bring some of our ‘unorthodox’ ideas to life, which made the day that much more special. The house is incredibly well equipped and has everything you could want and need and it caters to all ages from kids to grandparents. The guests could not stop talking about how perfect the venue and the surrounding grounds were (especially the highland cow viewing area). Thanks again to the team at Logie!     We had our wedding at Logie Country House just over three weeks ago and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was the best weekend ever. From the minute we first got in contact with Logie, Stef was so helpful and so accommodating for viewings as we were both shift workers at the time. We knew it was exactly where we wanted to get married from our first visit. Following on from then, Lila (our co-ordinator) was so helpful and kept us on the right track. I found planning a wedding overwhelming as I was the first of my friend group to get married so was a bit lost at where to start. Lila and her team were amazing from start to finish! The weekend was absolutely perfect, the setting facilities and team are second to none. I would recommend Logie Country House to any newly engaged couples - you can make the wedding as intimate or as big as you like! Just the best.     As we sit in the airport sipping our pints for our honeymoon we can reflect on a job well done. Tim and Steph were brilliant from start to finish and Gillian managed the day to perfection, we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to keep us calm and everything on schedule. All of our guests couldn’t have been happier with the experience. A big thanks to everyone involved in making our day special, Owen & Samantha.     Ten years ago, we had the wedding of our dreams at Logie and it was absolutely the best day of our life. We were back for a wedding last week at a friends wedding and the beautiful country house was equally romantic, with breathtaking views that created a perfect backdrop for the big day. Gillian the wedding planned was exceptional and the Hudson's staff went above and beyond to cater for every need, ensuring that everything was delicious and ran like clockwork. The beautiful decor and family atmosphere made it a truly magical experience. Check out contacts page for how to get here. Don't follow your satnav for the last 2 miles as your out in the countryside now! Or use what three words navigation which is really good. (Look for geologist.requiring.bravery). From Inverurie, keep on the A96 toward Huntly, through Pitcaple, past the green 1960s burger bus in the layby on the right. Turn right on the bend into our driveway 300M later. From Huntly, turn left 300M past the Oyne fork. You will see our illuminated railings and gatehouse. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The Courtyard, the other Courtyard, the island, the 1850s iron bridge, the ballroom, the main entrance hall, the Pictish standing stones, the ancient woodland, the river across the lawn (bring a boat haha), the Helipad (bring a helicopter) or anywhere with our highland cows.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Lots, but we don't tell. A Prime Minister, a vice president, lots of celebrities, sportsmen & women, Tim & Stef. You may see some photos on our Facebook Page if you look hard enough.

Stovies & Whisky by the fire pit in the courtyard.

Being a Castle without the 17 Century Castle drawbacks. Warm, cost, relaxed & unpretentious. Oh and Baby Highland Cows!

The personal experience we are able to offer. The owners, Tim and Stef, are very hands-on and events Managers, Gillian, Lila, & Katie are there every step of the way.
