Kingswood House is a 19th-Century, castle-like, grade-II listed mansion in South Dulwich. Kingswood House combines the charm and character of a grand Victorian building, with the versatility of a modern events venue - offering the benefits of both for your special day.

Since 2023 it has been open as a wedding and events venue as well as a community arts centre and creative hub! We provide free classes & activities for young people in the local community, including music, dance, visual arts, and theatre activities, as well as restoring this spectacular mansion of British heritage to its original glory.

The recently renovated ballrooms can host parties of up to 150 guests for dinner and up to 300 standing. Our ballrooms and other beautiful spaces can also be hired out individually.

Our professional and friendly events team will be looking after you and your guests on the day, making sure everything runs smoothly. We are happy to recommend suppliers for anything additional you might need to make your event extra special, and can provide in-house caterers. Our rooms are also licensed for civil ceremonies.

We hired a room at KA for a very last minute change of venue and Nikolas and the team were very accommodating and easy to deal with. The house itself is beautiful inside and on the day everything ran smoothly. My daughter had her wedding party at Kingswood this month. The venue is brilliant with a choice of rooms and all the guests commented on how well this worked for the ceremony-the meal and the band. From the outset Jack and his team were always happy to discuss various options and on the day he and his staff were all absolutely fantastic in ensuring every thing happened on time and to the agreed plan. Can't recommend them highly enough-great job and a pleasure to work with.My daughter had her wedding party at Kingswood this month. Incredible venue with a huge variety of spaces ranging across different styles and periods. Very easy to access from public transport and plenty of parking otherwise. Such a hidden gem! Such a hidden gem!
We had our wedding at Kingswood Arts in February 2024. The building is such a special place, perfect for weddings where you can keep moving between all the brilliant spaces. So many of our guests commented on what a stunning venue it was and how wonderful all the staff were. They also couldn't believe how convenient it was for getting back into central London after the event, it really is such a hidden gem! We had our wedding at Kingswood Arts in February 2024. The building is such a special place, perfect for weddings where you can keep moving between all the brilliant spaces. So many of our guests commented on what a stunning venue it was and how wonderful all the staff were. They also couldn't believe how convenient it was for getting back into central London after the event, it really is such a hidden gem!
