Kelham House Country Manor is a stunning countryside wedding venue set within nine acres of private grounds and woodland near Newark, Nottinghamshire. This elegant manor offers a beautifully secluded setting for your special day, combining classic charm with refined hospitality.

Licensed for civil ceremonies both indoor and outdoor, Kelham House features stylish rooms and can host weddings from intimate celebrations to larger occasions of up to 110 guests in the daytime, and 180 in the evening. The venue is perfect year-round, with summer drinks on the lawns and cosy winter weddings warmed by our roaring log fire.

Couples can enjoy a flexible, personal planning experience, with bespoke wedding packages and wedding packages available throughout the year, including midweek options. Exceptional dining is created in-house by the talented chef, while 12 elegant en-suite bedrooms provide a relaxing overnight stay for you and your guests.

Due to the professional organisation from day one after we booked our special day everything on the day went without a single hitch. Natalie's help with the planning from the menus, help and advice with regards to the Ceremony, wedding breakfast and the evening reception. We had the most magical day, the food was absolutely outstanding and service second to non! Huge shout out to the bar staff who are so friendly and polite. The coordinating team here are the best, We didn't need to visit any other other venue after looking around because it just ticked every box. Would do it all over again if I could! Myself and Gabriella got married here in August 2025, we had the most perfect day. We managed to get married outside with all our loved ones and everything went smoothly and perfectly! Kelham let you tailor your day exactly how you have visioned it your whole life. A special mention to Natalie who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Made sure everything ran perfectly and even rescued our leaning cake! Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

It's so hard to choose just one with our amazing grounds and garden, it doesn't matter which season, the garden hosts a variety of colours. We also have our beautiful pigoda, which is lit up with fairy lights and a lovely woodland walk.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have definitely seen a few familiar faces here at Kelham House, from the Top Gear team to Rupert Everett & David Guest.

What’s your favourite canapé?

All of our mouth watering canapes are to die for... But if I had to choose just one it would be our Lamb kofta with mint raita...delicious!!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Our pizzas or fish and chip supper for your evening guests has to be the tastiest.
