Arrive along the tree-lined driveway to Kelham House – a stunning venue where the chance to sparkle and shine in style on your magical day is all yours. We can provide as much or as little support as you need, from invitations to flowers, music to photography, and even menu planning. Our chef and their team will work with you to create a menu that fits with your wedding theme. We are fully licensed to host civil ceremonies and are fully equipped inside the House for anything from small and intimate celebrations up to weddings with 110 guests. Sitting in 9 acres, we can use the gardens and parklands to cater events with up to 200 guests. Our team of experienced and expert planners at Kelham House will tailor the day to what you want – you can book out the entire hotel and grounds if you’d like an entirely private celebration, or choose a more selective service. Book for summer if you’d like drinks and canapes on the lawn or garden terrace, or, if you’ve always dreamed of a winter wedding, we’ll light our log fires and keep you and your guests cosy.

Kelham House provided us with the most special day, we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more from them. Natalie, our coordinator, worked with us to ensure every tiny detail was planned to perfection. She joined in with us, laughed with us, and made our vision come to life. We think back to our wedding and talk about it all the time, and we get so many compliments from family and friends, including pointing out Natalie dancing along with us in the photos and being a big part of the day. A Dream Come TrueA Dream Come True
I can’t express highly enough how much I recommend the team at Kelham House. Our coordinator, Natalie, answered all the questions I had throughout the process and helped the entire wedding day go so smoothly. For the venue as well we found it was just so ideal to have the ceremony and reception in the same place and with there being 12 rooms on site it was so convenient for family to stay over too. Nothing was ever too much and they truly made our wedding day a dream come true. If you were to ask out of 10, I truly would say 100. The team at Kelham were excellent through the planning process and with help on the day. They did everything possible to make sure it suited to all of our needs and make sure our day was perfect. The venue was beautiful and the food was incredible. We would definitely recommend to anyone as Olivia made the planning much more easier and relaxed. It also suited our budget, and not only us but all the guests loved the venue, we had an amazing day.The team at Kelham were excellent through the planning process and with help on the day. They did everything possible to make sure it suited to all of our needs and make sure our day was perfect. The venue was beautiful and the food was incredible. We would definitely recommend to anyone as Olivia made the planning much more easier and relaxed. It also suited our budget, and not only us but all the guests loved the venue, we had an amazing day.

Our hobbit-themed weddingOur hobbit-themed wedding
We had an absolutely amazing time at Kelham House for our hobbit-themed wedding! We were initially attracted to the venue because of the gorgeous woodland setting. We loved the little woods round the back of the house, as well as the gorgeous old copper beech tree out front. What really convinced us to pick Kelham House, however, was how amazing the team was. We planned our wedding while living outside the UK and they worked hard to make the whole process as stress-free as possible for us, whether that was a Zoom tour of the house or the menu tasting fitted in around our Christmas travels. They also recommended some fantastic vendors, including hair and makeup, photographers and DJs. We were able to fully tailor our wedding to how we wanted it - while listening to the wonderful ideas and advice of the team. Definitely recommend for small weddings, not just big ones! Initially my husband and I were skeptical about going to such a large venue when our wedding party was only to be 11 guests, however, Kelham turned out to be the perfect venue as they have smaller rooms too. The smaller rooms were the perfect size as there was enough room for everyone to mingle, take photos etc and it felt intimate in the best way. The staff were all really friendly and helped us every step of the way, which we needed as wedding novices! We made traditional and non traditional choices which were supported by the venue and the photographs are beautiful. We couldn’t have been happier with our venue. Everyone we dealt with was amazing — especially Natalie, our coordinator, who was so helpful, patient, and genuinely lovely throughout. We had a lot of questions and ideas, and they gave us so much flexibility and support to create a day that truly felt like ours. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, the food was fantastic, and all the little extras were done to such a high standard. Their pricing is really competitive too, especially for everything that’s included. Would 100% recommend to anyone planning their big day!We couldn’t have been happier with our venue. The venue is stunning. The 12 guest rooms are lovely, especially the bridal suite, and the venue spaces are excellent, providing options for the day and allowed us to plan for all weather conditions. From trying out the tasting menu and opportunities to dine at Kelham before our wedding we knew the food would be great and it was! The chefs catered well to dietary restrictions and were flexible with last minute adjustments. Lauren is the best wedding coordinator! She and the whole team at Kelham looked after us throughout the planning process and on the day. Nothing was too difficult and their care and attention allowed us to relax and enjoy our day. The venue is stunning. The 12 guest rooms are lovely, especially the bridal suite, and the venue spaces are excellent, providing options for the day and allowed us to plan for all weather conditions. Our Perfect dayOur Perfect day
We had our day on the 13th June 2025 . It was a beautiful day. We visited a few venues before finding kelham house, which was the perfect mix of country manor and cozy intimate, which was perfect for us. We were looked after by the amazing Lauren, our coordinator ( after a few staff changes) and we couldn't have asked for any one better. From planning and keeping me ( the bride) on track, to the actual day Lauren and her team were incredible. She kept me calm, on time and hydrated (😅)nothing was a problem, even when all our guests arrived an hour early. From switching rooms last minute, helping set up ( great advice for tying chair sashes) to looking after our dog, poofing my dress and even offering me her own shoes when mine broke. Lauren was the best, we honestly couldn't thank her enough xx. I'd also like to mention poppy who looked after our wedding reception and at breakfast, everything went so smoothly, we had so many compliments from our guests to how professional and attentive she was. And also the lovely bar man ( Tom? 🤞) who helped with set up and serving but also spritzed my centre pieces so they survived the day ( it was a scorcher) . You made our special day so incredible, so perfect and so us! From the moment we set our eyes on Kelham House Country Manor we knew it was the venue for us. That first meeting with the planners was how we envisioned that going. Amy was our lead wedding planner and she was just amazing throughout. No detail was left out, she is bubbly, incredibly friendly and most importantly, highly skilled at her job! Nothing was too much trouble along the way and even on the day she was there every step! A special mention to Natalie, Lauren, Claire and the legend that is Stanley 😊 (if you know, you know) as they all played a part in making our day the one we had hoped for. We were lucky enough to be able to have the venue the night before and took advantage of the private dining. There was 10 in total and really added another special touch to our wedding eve sharing that space both family and friends that were staying there the night before the big day! Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

It's so hard to choose just one with our amazing grounds and garden, it doesn't matter which season, the garden hosts a variety of colours. We also have our beautiful pigoda, which is lit up with fairy lights and a lovely woodland walk.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have definitely seen a few familiar faces here at Kelham House, from the Top Gear team to Rupert Everett & David Guest.

What’s your favourite canapé?

All of our mouth watering canapes are to die for... But if I had to choose just one it would be our Lamb kofta with mint raita...delicious!!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Our pizzas or fish and chip supper for your evening guests has to be the tastiest.
