Ivy House Country Hotel

From the first time we met Hannah and viewed the venue, we knew it was the one. The whole team have been absolutely incredible from the moment we booked until the day we said I do. Nothing was too much for Hannah or Angie, in fact the whole team were lovely and helpful. Being a bride is so exiting but at the same time very scary, but Angie made sure I was ok all day and checked on us constantly. The team corresponded with our other vendors, which took a massive pressure off of me and the whole day was perfect. Our families have told us since that it was the best day ever, and to us it really was. We are so happy that we chose Ivy House for our wedding day. We couldn’t fault the staff or venue in any way. The entire process from booking to afterwards has been enjoyable and smooth. Hannah and Ange were fantastic throughout! We, and our guests, have not stopped talking about our day. Our guests have commented that if anybody should get married, they should pick Ivy House!

Where do I even start, Ivy House is truly beautiful! We couldn't have wished for anywhere better for our wedding! From the moment we went to view Ivy House it took our breath away, Hannah who looked after us for our viewing appointment spent over an hour with us showing us around going through absolutely everything in such detail, dealing with all our appointments then handing us over to our Wedding supervisor Angela who looked after us and made sure everything ran smoothly and was perfect on our day! We couldn't have asked or wished for more from them! Not only Hannah and Angela, but every member of staff went above and beyond for us from the moment of booking, to turning up the day before to set everything up right through till the moment we went home. Everything was absolutely perfect! Keith and his team done the most amazing job with the food, it was all absolutely spot on! Absolutely everyone one of our guests said how amazing the food was and how amazing Ivy House is and what a perfect day it was. We are so grateful to everyone at Ivy House! Our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be at The Ivy hotel. We felt really looked after on the day and all the details we asked for were sorted. We had the ceremony in the beautiful barn and then made the most of all the fairy lights in the main hall and outside during our evening reception, everyone commented on how pretty it was. Thanks to the location of the Ivy we also have some wonderful wedding photos with some beautiful scenery behind us. We were also able to have our dog be there for some of the photos which was amazing. The perfect day overall.

From our first meeting the bridal team were great, nothing was too much trouble, the team on the day were great. I would recommend Ivy House to anyone.

We had the most perfect wedding day at Ivy House Country Hotel. It was all thanks to Hannah, the wedding planner who looked after us up to the week of the wedding. Then Angela took us under her wing and made sure all aspects of our day were perfect and tailored to us. We originally fell in love with the venue due to the beautiful barn where the ceremony was held. We wanted a rustic aesthetic look throughout the whole day and Ivy House fitted this. The reception looks beautiful with fairy lights and draping cloth ceiling. We truly fell in love and were able to use this as a base for our rustic vision. A special touch was being the first wedding of 2024 and using the newly decorated rose suite to get ready in which had many compliments by bridesmaids and suppliers. We can’t thank Hannah, Angela and the Ivy House team all their efforts at making sure our day was perfect.

We got married on the 4th November at the stunning Ivy House Country Hotel and we had the most perfect wedding day surrounded by family and friends, having our ceremony in the crooked barn followed by our reception in the hall. The team of staff were brilliant, from our first meetings with Hannah, when initially planning the day, to then meeting Angela and chatting about the arrangements and her being there on our day. A special mention must go to Angela and all the team who provided an outstanding service, nothing was too much trouble, the team were lovely, friendly people who just added to the family friendly atmosphere, perfect for our wedding day. We can’t recommend Ivy House enough, it is a stunning location with an excellent service. All our family and friends said the same. Thank you again to all the team, wish we could do it all over again!

Our day couldn’t have been any more perfect. Angie, Hannah and the team did an amazing job, the food, room set up, service and attention to detail were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. We only had a small intimate ceremony for 20 guests followed by afternoon tea. All guests commented on how lovely the food was, very tasty with a great selection and beautifully presented. The barn is a fairytale setting and suited our needs perfectly, the grounds are lovely and provide many lovely spots for photos. Couldn’t have wished for anything more.

We had a look at a few venues before we found ivy house, We loved that you could get married in the barn and then walk down to the hall for wedding breakfast and evening reception. There wasn’t any of the faffing around waiting for things to be moved around. From start to finish we had such a great experience with planning our wedding at the ivy house. The lead up to the wedding, I felt like everything was in hand and I didn’t have to worry about anything to do with the venue Hannah was always around to answer our questions. She played a massive part leading up to our big day and helped us massively. Angela who was there to help us on the day ensure everything ran smoothly was amazing. Nothing was a big ask and the day went amazingly. I can not explain how much we all appreciated having her there. The day ran so seamlessly and honestly I couldn’t have asked for anything to go better, the food was lovely! Everyone commented on how nice it was and we had the hog roast which I would 100% recommend. We had no stressing and booked out the rooms which our friends and family stayed in. The staff were all lovely and very helpful and the bar was quick! No one likes to wait around too long for a drink.
