Hunters Hall is a dedicated wedding venue located on the outskirts of the village Swanton Morley, just 4 miles from the market town of Dereham, and less than 20 miles from Norwich, Norfolk, UK.

From your initial enquiry and throughout your wedding, we will help you with every detail, ensuring your celebrations run smoothly.

We offer 3 beautiful function spaces for your whole day with us:

1. The Park Room - which has plenty of natural light and offers views over the meadow. It is perfect for intimate ceremonies for up to 70 guests.

2. The Victorian Barn - a beautiful barn with exposed oak beams and brickwork, allows you to exchange vows in front of up to 140 guests. Alternatively enjoy your wedding breakfast in here for up to 70 guests. Finally, why not dance the night away in the evening with up to 140 guests.

3. The Starlit Barn - perfect for larger celebrations, seating up to 140 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 350 guests for your evening celebrations.

All 3 of the function rooms are interconnecting, allowing you to seamlessly move throughout your day.

We have 11 ensuite bedrooms for your family and friends, and serve a tasty Farmhouse breakfast the following morning.

We have large grounds which are perfect for drinks, canapés and wedding photos, as well as complimentary onsite car-parking for all guests.

What makes us different?

* We are an all inclusive venue - we offer as much inhouse as we can including all the catering, a fully stocked bar and a full team of bar and waiting staff.

* In the lead up to your wedding we will organise several 1:1 meetings with you both, and provide guidance from your first enquiry right up to your wedding day.

* We set up the venue for you including all the chairs, tables, linen, cutlery and crockery needed for your wedding. We will also add all your own personal touches to the venue.

* We will be by your side on your wedding day, as both a Wedding Coordinator and Master of Ceremonies

* We will manage all the clear down after your wedding day

* We really care - every member of our team loves their role at Hunters Hall. During covid a guest emailed after attending a wedding with us to say how smiley the team were. Everyone was wearing a mask and yet still the guest could see their positivity!

Hunters Hall is an exclusive use wedding venue with a beautiful Victorian Barn, gardens and guest accommodation. Our venue hire pricing includes the use of up to 3 function rooms, function tables and chairs, linen, cutlery, crockery and glassware, venue decorations, guest facilities and staffing. Your wedding breakfast package, evening buffet and overnight accommodation are charged separately. After working closely with you in the lead up to your special day, our team will set everything for you so that you can relax and enjoy your wedding day. We had originally booked Hunters Hall for Halloween 2020, when COVID hit and restricted mass gatherings. During this time, the staff at Hunters Hall could not have been more helpful in working with us and the current rules to make our special day as magical as possible. We rebooked them for a vow renewal 5 years on, with the expectation of COVID being over and they helped us with all the arrangements to allow us to have a second go round. They went above and beyond in all aspects of hosting our wedding and made sure that we felt really welcome, not once but twice holding our ceremonies in their venue. The food was excellent throughout the day, and the staff were amazing at helping with all the little loose ends on both days. The venue is incredible, a beautiful setting that needs no additional decoration to make a magical experience, the Victorian barn is absolutely gorgeous and a fantastic place for the ceremony, and the Starlit Barn was perfect for our wedding breakfast. WOW 🤯 What a venue! We did not need to look anywhere else once we came and looked here. It was the only one we visited and it was perfect. We cannot thank the team enough for our day. You went above and beyond to make our day as special as it was. We had two severe nut allergies on the premises and they ensured that there were no nuts on them. Everything went smoothly in every way possible. If you haven't been to an open day, the food is INCREDIBLE 😍 I have recommended you to ALL of my clientsWOW 🤯 What a venue! My husband and I would like to say we had an amazing day at Hunters Hall for our wedding day. Matthew and all the staff were so accommodating and made the day that much more special. Its such an amazing venue and we would defiantly recommend it if your looking for a wedding venue, In fact its so good were even going back for the Christmas party this year! Cant wait to see you all again and thanks again for making our wedding day truly memorable. My husband and I would like to say we had an amazing day at Hunters Hall for our wedding day. Matthew and all the staff were so accommodating and made the day that much more special. We loved every minuteWe loved every minute
Our son and his now wife were married here on 27.08.25. Several of us also stayed the night before the wedding and all the family stayed the night after. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by the Matthew and Jenny and the team at Hunters Hall. We loved every minute of the wedding. We had had several meetings before the Big Day to discuss what our son and his fiancee wanted and on 26th-28th August it all came together. Would highly recommend Hunters Hall as a wedding venue.Our son and his now wife were married here on 27.08.25. We had our wedding at Hunters Hall and it was amazing. i can honestly say that i have never felt so special and so important in my entire life. I will be forever thankful and so grateful to the staff of Hunters Hall for making our day so special, so great and for taking great care of me. The best place for a wedding The best place for a wedding
If there were more stars available, Hunters Hall would have deserved them. Our renewal was booked over a year ago, and ever since that day, Hunters Hall (thanks to Lou) have been in touch on a regular basis with any updates or ideas. The venue itself is superb, immaculately decorated and with various options of room use, so every ceremony is different. The staff are so helpful, caring and friendly, nothing was too much for them. The food was out of this world, not one of our guest could give any negative feedback about it when in a discussion. The bedrooms all have there own individual design about them, very spacious comfortable, clean, and up to date, and sheets are crispy white. A couple of people deserve a mention Matthew, thank you for everything you did for us, even being part of the ceremony yourself, just made it a perfect day. Charlotte, your professional approach to the whole time we were there, made everything run smoothly and we all felt very relaxed. Shirley, although you couldnt be there on the day, your help and ideas helped us decide on anything, decoration wise that we needed. And always with a smile. On the whole, we cannot recommend Hunters Hall enough. Not being biased, but that was probably the best wedding we have been too, other than our son who got married there last August, and that is all thanks to the Hunters Hall team. On the day itself, they ensured the day went smoothly, the decorations were more than perfect and the whole thing was just beautiful and more lovely than we could ever imagine. They were a team that went above and beyond to make our wedding day the best it could be. We can't recommend Hunters Hall enough! It was the perfect wedding venue.
