Nestled in tranquil countryside and boasting sweeping lawns, stunning historic gardens and the iconic Ham Stone Lutyens-designed Orangery, Hestercombe is an idyllic wedding venue based near Taunton in Somerset.
You’ll get access to the entire grounds during your big day – that’s fifty acres of beautiful landscape and formal gardens for you and your guests!
Licensed for civil ceremonies, Hestercombe has the advantage of being able to hold your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party all at one spectacular and spacious location. Our friendly and accommodating team have many years of experience and will work with you to make your special day truly unforgettable.

It truly is too hard to pick! When you get married here you have the stunning Hestercombe grounds at your disposal for your photos. Whether it be the pergola in the Formal Gardens or the Cascade Waterfall in the Landscape gardens, there really is something special at every corner!

Our most unique feature is the iconic Lutyens-designed Orangery, nestled at the heart of Hestercombe’s historic gardens. Surrounded by timeless architecture and sweeping landscaped vistas, it offers a truly enchanting setting where your wedding day feels beautifully your own.
What's your favourite evening food option?
It has to be our stone-baked pizzas! Cooked outside in our pizza oven on our stunning Hall Terrace with the beautiful backdrop of the Somerset Hills!
Describe unique features you've seen at weddings hosted by your venue?
We truly have seen it all! From Alpacas as ring-bearers to Drag DJs and singing waiters to flash mobs. We love seeing the unique stamp our couples put on their special days!

What makes us proudest is our team, a group of people who truly care. We don’t just plan weddings; we share the excitement, the nerves, the joy, and all the little moments in between. By the time your celebration arrives, we feel like part of your story, which is why saying goodbye at the end of the night is bittersweet for us.

Yes, you’ll have your own dedicated wedding coordinator. Olivia, our Weddings, Events & Marketing Coordinator, will be with you every step of the way.
