Ruined our dayRuined our day
where do I start? Hellaby hall ruined the memory of our wedding. From getting our ceremony music completely wrong, so fs were not played as instructed in the music sheet, so special songs for special moments didnt occur. To rude staff unwilling to help guests, unprofessional, being unorganised. They didnt have a clue what was going on and our guests commented on this which left us feeling utterly embarrassed. They didnt know where to direct us to at what times. refusing to let guests check in at contracted time, leading to me having an argument with reception on my wedding day! not labelling food leading to guests having to take pie roulette when they had food allergies. their food hygiene rating of 1 and not stocking beer on tap as they fsiled to scedule the order (one of the reasons groom chose this venue was his favourite beer was available on tap), as well as extortionate prices for the bottled alternative. very disappointing how they handled my complaint, brushed it off and tried to push blame on us. unprofessional to say the least. avoid at all costs.where do I start? Fell in love with the venue on first sight. From our very first viewing we knew it would be where we said “I do” the grounds are stunning. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire day so we couldn’t make use of the beautiful gardens but our photographer did brave the rain to get a few outside shots. Nothing was too much trouble and Emma and Aaliyah were on hand at every step to answer whatever questions popped up. All the staff made us feel welcome and special. The only grumble would be the bar service for our evening reception. Simply wasn’t enough staff to avoid long waiting times for drinks. Breakfast the next day was also chaotic. We were consulted if we were happy with layouts of the room before our guests saw it. Even with the rain it was simply the best day. The staff collected any leftover things we had had in the room the night before and also from the evening reception which we were grateful for. Nothing was too much bother...Nothing was too much bother...
My family and I stayed here last night due to been at a family wedding. Me, hubby, 6yr old and 3yr old all stayed in a family room with 2 double beds. The room was plenty big enough and bathroom was lovely. Every member of staff we came across throughout the day were brilliant, nothing was too much bother, they were very attentive. Overall, I brilliant place and I could highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking here.My family and I stayed here last night due to been at a family wedding. After months of planning our daughters wedding with the fabulous staff at Hellaby Hall the day was everything and more we would have expected. On arrival we were met by James our wedding organiser .From the start James was warm friendly and professional. James guided the wedding party through such a beautiful day and nothing was to much . staff at the reception were very friendly and again nothing was too much and would go beyond there job role. On the night staff on the bar again we're friendly smart and attentive. One lady bar staff even helped out and ran upstairs to warm up a babies bottle. We had our wedding at Hellaby Hall Hotel and everything was perfect. The setting was amazing for our photos. Chloe was a pleasure to work with and took care of every detail and Dave who was in charge on the day went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly,even to the point of adjusting my wedding dress, he went above and beyond in his duties. We can’t recommend this hotel enough , it is the perfect venue to hold your wedding.We had our wedding at Hellaby Hall Hotel and everything was perfect. The setting was amazing for our photos. Chloe was a pleasure to work with and took care of every detail and Dave who was in charge on the day went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly,even to the point of adjusting my wedding dress, he went above and beyond in his duties. I just want to say how fantastic the day went. Nothing was too much trouble even making changes at the last minute, Chloe and Sarah were very helpful. A special thank you must go to Dave he was amazing . He made the day go so smoothly and put us both at ease. He really is so professional at what he does and is a real asset to Hellaby Hall. Thanks again to all the staff at hellaby hall for making our and are guest feel so special on our wedding day. 🌟 XI just want to say how fantastic the day went. We had the best day of our life's.We had the best day of our life's.
Putting it simple, we had the best day of our life's. From start to finish Chloe the wedding organiser was always there to answer our questions and sort everything out for us made wedding planning smooth and easy. The whole day was perfect, even though it rained and we couldn't enjoy the gardens but the dance floor was the place to be. Very good DJ, played all the songs we asked for and played Mr and Mrs. We had buffet food which was lovely. All the staff did a great job with decorating the venue to our style, making the day run smoothly and helping make the day special. The rooms was lovely, everyone was impressed, just a shame checkout is 11 but we loved it and Will be back ❤️ Thank you to everyone at hellaby Hall for the perfect day❤️Putting it simple, we had the best day of our life's. The last change of management has made a massive impact on this hotel. The grounds are now stunning, well maintained and idyllic for outdoor events and photos.
