- MMichelle and Peter10/03/2025Simply the best!!!Simply the best!!!February 2025 We chose the Harbour Hotel Guildford to have our wedding reception and we are thrilled to say our experience was epic from beginning to end. The hotel is modern and elegant with a warm atmosphere and a beautiful reception area and bedrooms were comfortable and well decorated. The honeymoon suite was beautifully presented. The Harbar restaurant is warm and inviting and the beautiful crystal chandelier is definitely a showpiece. There is parking in the basement with easy access to the hotel. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were greeted with warm friendly smiles on arrival even though the reception was so busy. Emily Cutler who was our wedding planner was fabulous from beginning to end, she kept us updated and she made sure all our queries were answered. Her and her team was so efficient in assisting with the processes and were present and available up to the last minute. The reception room was elegant and inviting and was set up beautifully. Leah and Daisy together with their team was outstanding. They attended to our every need all evening and the service was beyond excellent. The food was exquisite, well presented and so mouthwatering delicious both at the Harbar Restaurant where we had dinner the night before the wedding, the breakfast was delicious and the food at the wedding was amazing. All the food was so well presented. Jenny and Charlie at reception went above and beyond the standard call of duty in assisting us with a misplaced bag. All in all everything was an awesome experience.
