Perfect for a beautiful countryside wedding, with the barns rustic and original charm as the background for your big day, the venue has a capacity for up to 180 seated guests for the day and up to 250 in the evening. With a lawn for drinks & canapes, and the option to add a stretch tent for rain cover or shade, the barn is perfect if you are looking for a venue to personalise and bring to life once again! Venue Hire The venue runs from May-October each year. Venue Hire for 2024 & 2025 is £4,250 and includes: 3 day access to the venue (Day before the Wedding, the Wedding day and day after the Wedding Round tables & Classic Gold chairs Fairy Light Canopy Toilet building Wooden bar Raised stage Car parking facilities Outdoor drinks reception space including Stretch Tent for shelter/shade with lights & bunting, hay bales & pallets Although the Barn is not licensed for Legal Wedding Ceremonies, we can host beautiful Celebrant-Led Ceremonies, or there are many places nearby where you could get married (Southover Grange, Lewes Registry Office, Brighton Town Hall, Ringmer Church as examples) before coming to Gote Farm for your Wedding Reception. This venue is really special and you'll have exclusive hire and the chance to hold your wedding at a really unique and charming venue!
