Our barn, exclusively yours, can host 80-150 guests, and includes seven en-suite bedrooms as well as a set of private rooms for the couple. From tables and chairs to a team of chefs waiting to create your menu, every detail has been considered. Just bring your dreams for your day.
Introducing the venue - A series of barns and outhouses dating from 1825, beautifully restored to create a light, warm and airy atmosphere. Connected one to another in a flow that allows your day to unfold seamlessly.
Flexible spaces - From gathering to drinks, from dinner to dancing, our different spaces connect to each other, allowing guests to move easily through the venue, enabling your band or DJ to set up unnoticed. If the weather’s warm and sunny, you can flow out to the courtyard. If not, your event will run just as smoothly. Pre-installed lighting, speakers, projector and WiFi provide all the technical support you might need.
Your ceremony - Light-filled and atmospheric, with seating for up to 135, the Meadow Barn is licensed to hold civil marriages and partnerships. It’s the perfect backdrop to a magical day.
Your hideaway - A private suite for you, tucked away in its own secret garden. A room to prepare, with mirrors and natural light. A suite, beautifully designed with space to spread out.
Your guests nearby - Seven double rooms with bathrooms en suite. Their neutral colours and open layout are designed to help your guests get ready, then relax and wind down from the excitement of the day.
Food by Farbridge - Every menu is different, and every mouthful delicious. From breads to chutneys to ice creams, our team strives to make as much as we can from scratch. - DD & F18/09/2024The most beautiful venue and incredible staffThe most beautiful venue and incredible staffFarbridge was the very first wedding venue we visited when we began our search back in January 2022, and from the moment we arrived and stepped inside the Lavant Barn we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The setting is absolutely stunning. We both love the countryside and being outdoors and we instantly fell in love with Farbridge, which is set against the backdrop of the South Downs, surrounded by fields, country lanes, and even a river. The interior is equally as beautiful. We particularly liked that Farbridge has a light, airy, modern feel. Although we loved the rural setting, we also wanted our wedding day to feel quite elegant, and the beautiful barns really deliver on that. Not only is it a beautiful location, but the staff at Farbridge are incredible. Every single person that we’ve come into contact with at Farbridge over the last couple of years has been so friendly, kind, and professional. Imogen showed us around at our first visit, answered all of our questions, and really helped us to envision our wedding day. Julie, Ells, and Ellie made us feel at home when we came back for visits with family, attended the wedding fayre, and the food tasing event. And Grace, our brilliant wedding account manager, looked after us leading up to our wedding day and then oversaw everything to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she always replied promptly to emails and enquiries. Grace ensured that our wedding day ran smoothly and that all of our personal touches and decorations were set up for us – and looked even better than when we’d done it! She even told us where to cut the cake, and gave us advice on aspects of our wedding planning. I didn’t once look at the time or worry about anything on our wedding day as we had full trust in Grace and the team. Everything was executed with military precision, down to the exquisite menu produced and delivered by the inhouse catering team, Cuckoo. Our guests have been raving about the menu ever since our wedding day, and we’ve heard multiple times that it’s the best food they’ve been served at a wedding. Farbridge is a popular wedding venue – and for good reason! – but we never once felt as though our wedding was simply one of many. The care and attention we were shown was exemplary and we want to say a heartfelt thank you to Grace and the rest of the team for everything they did for us. We fell in love with the venue from the moment Julie showed us around. The two years leading up to the wedding, we had Eleanor looking after us who just took care of any little worry we had, gave us honest advice and opinions and took into account our budget and wishes. We never felt any pressure from her. I organised all the decor myself and Eleanor smashed it when setting it up on the morning, every detail was thought about. Throughout the day they ensured the day ran smoothly and we genuinely didn’t have to worry about anything, I can’t stress enough how amazing the team are. The food was unreal and we received many compliments about it being the best wedding meal they’d ever eaten! Every details was just perfect and we owe the hugest thanks to the whole Farbridge team. Having rooms onsite was amazing too. I could shout all day long about Farbridge but to sum it up the venue is just stunning and the staff exceptional! The venue is stunning so we didnt need to dress it too much but we were really able to make it our own. Having an exclusive venue made the day feel so special and the staff all went the extra mile to make sure we had everything the way we wanted. The day ran so smoothly and having the different barns meant we didnt have to wait for spaces to be turned around and each moment of the day had its own special place. The outside space was perfect for photos and drinks reception and the bridal suite was perfect to get ready in and relax in at the end of the day. In particular the food was exceptional and Simon and the team went above and beyond with our bespoke menu. Our guests have constantly told us they thought our day was beautiful and the food was a particular talking point. It not only tasted incredible but the team matched our woodland theme and each dish was a work of art. Honestly the best venue and our day was more than we ever dreamed! We had the most incredible day and the Farbridge team really made our dream day come to life. The venue is stunning so we didnt need to dress it too much but we were really able to make it our own. Farbridge was the only venue we ever went to see and we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. What is your venue's most unique feature?
The setting. We are nestled in the beautiful South Downs National Park, surrounded by rolling fields and sometimes the odd fly by from a Spitfire!
