- Within the Castle we can host civil ceremonies and celebrations to suit any style of wedding whether you are looking for something more traditional, informal or extravagant. - As well as the reception rooms, there are also numerous unique features including the spectacular Cantilevered Stairway, Central Stone Staircase with decorative ceiling, captivating cloisters and hidden doorways. - We are pleased to be able to offer both indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony. The Chapel is perfect for a traditional style ceremony or blessing, with huge stained glass windows, pews and an ornate painted ceiling. - The Central Courtyard offers a magnificent outdoor setting, with ornamental trees and views down to the Gatehouse, surrounded by original crenellation. - For your reception, the castle is a fantastic entertaining space with great versatility. Welcome your guests in the Library, with glorious views and steps down to the South Lawns. Here they can enjoy drinks and canapes. - The grand Ballroom is a spectacular location for the wedding breakfast. With tall ceilings, lavish chandeliers and grand mirrors it offers the perfect backdrop for your first meal as a married couple. - We have carefully created our menus to include a wide variety of exciting dishes, beautifully presented, using only the highest quality ingredients, which are locally sourced wherever possible. There is also a ceremonial sword to cut your wedding cake. - The castle grounds boast a wide array of gardens offering endless possibilities for exquisite couples photographs. These include stunning water features, island Pavilions, a waterfall and a 200 year old Wisteria Arch. The Gothic Tower at the centre of the maze offers panoramic views of the estate. - There are 25 spacious guest bedrooms, for family and friends to stay, including a ground floor accessible bathroom. It also includes breakfast in the impressive formal Dining Room the following morning.
