Crear Weddings

Brian and I would like to send the most enormous thank you to ever single one of you. We couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding. The whole planning process has been relaxed but efficient and a joy to be part of. Arriving at Crear on Monday 5th December we were greeted by Wendy who was incredible. She was warm, friendly, funny and couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made our stay even more special than we ever imagined. On the day of our wedding, everything and everyone came together to create the most magical of days. The flowers created by Agnes’s, the photographs created by Gavin the music created by Ian and his magic pipes were just perfect as well as them being lovely, gentle people. David created a wonderful service. The food was beautiful, and served with grace and speed by Wendy and Gillian. Crear shone in all its beauty under the winter sunshine and the clear air gifted us the most beautiful views and photos. Having visited Crear earlier in the year, our hearts had been captured, but each of our guests were spellbound by its magic too. We truly cannot thank you all enough for gifting us the most precious and memorable day of our lives. It will remain in our hearts until the end of time.

My Son was married there on 15th May, I loved the place from the moment I saw it, the staff were brilliant from start to finish, the food was to die for and overall I would recommend any couple looking for a unique experience to book with them , it was well worth the journey down from Aberdeen.

Well what can I say! From arranging our wedding right through to ur special day all of the staff were amazing! Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and made it a stress free day for me and my husband! I would go back in a heartbeat, the place is beautiful! The photos on the day, the bagpipe player the whole thing was honestly breathtaking! Thank you so much for giving us such a special day.

Our daughter Vivette married Molly it was a short engagement and Crear came through to make it a beautiful and joyful weekend. Friday night was time to meet close family and prepare for the next day. Food was absolutely wonderful with children and special diets catered for. The wedding was amazing and so personal, we all eat, Laughed and danced till our feet hurt. Sunday buffet was a time to say goodbye and relax. It is a very caring place and would recommend to all.

Absolutely amazing 5 days spent at Crear, I know people always say this but our wedding day truly was the best day of our lives, we all felt that way and loved every minute spent at Crear and in Scotland, none of us wanted to leave, we actually felt sad to leave. It was because of, well where to start, the views, the countryside, the beach and the crystal clear waters, all the beautiful wildlife, the relaxing vibe of the whole place, just an excellent place to stay. The staff were all amazing, made the stay the amazing experience it was. Claire our wedding organiser did an amazing job, Agnes who arranged our incredible flowers, they were stunning! Alan and the kitchen team for the scrumptious food, our photographer was so lovely, her shots were brilliant, lovely Lorraine at the Glasgow office and Wendy who drove our 3 guests to Glasgow train station (because Glasgow cabs cancelled last minute on them for no reason.) We can't thank you enough Wendy for going above and beyond, thank you so much. Thank you so much to the whole Crear team for everything you did in making our day incredible, you even made the sunshine for the whole 5 days, I know it was you that made it happen 😁

My wife and I got married at Crear last year and had the most amazing day and we have frequently reminisced about our wedding since. Such incredible scenery, attentive staff and the most romantic setting to say your vows whilst drinking in that view! A MASSIVE thanks to the whole team at Crear. We were hugely impressed with how well we were looked after and how on the ball they were. The house was beautiful and very comfortable too. It made it so easy for us to completely relax and enjoy the day. Lorna, our registrar, the flowers, the incredible food from Chef Alan (sorry for embarrassing him with the round of applause!); it was all absolutely tip top. A day that just kept on giving. So lucky to have had the most perfect weather for it too (that sunset 😍). The Scottish Caribbean! Our guests haven’t stopped saying how special a time they all had also. Would happily do it all over again.

We got married here on Saturday 20th august 2022, and absolutely cannot fault Crear, from the stunning venue to the spectacular food the place is absolutely everything we wanted from our wedding and the breathtaking scenery just topped it off ! We had so many guests say it was the best wedding they’d been to! Crear will always hold a special place in our hearts and we wouldn’t change it a thing! It was perfect!

Crear was everything I could have hoped for and more. Unique, magical and so relaxed.

We had a fantastic wedding at Crear in August. The scenery, the food, the venue, everything was absolutely flawless. We would absolutely (and have) recommended Crear to all our friends. We did encounter some issues with getting a UK wedding visa due to the backlogs coming out of Covid but Kate and her team were absolutely awesome, providing us with reassurance and helping us work through the process. We couldn't be happier and we would like to thank Crear for giving us the wedding of our dreams.

We got married at Crear at the end of September 2022. The whole experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. Lorraine's communication was exceptional throughout which put us at ease and during the day all the staff were friendly and helpful. The venue is absolutely stunning and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed our day. Thank you. We wish we could do it all over again!
