We had our wedding at Cottons Hotel and Spa, and I genuinely can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make our day so special. From the very beginning, Charlotte was incredibly supportive - always available, always kind and patient when I was asking a million questions and updating our requirements, nothing was ever too much trouble. Her help throughout the planning process made everything feel smooth and stress-free. We met Mark on the Friday before our wedding on the Saturday and I’m not sure he went home from that point onwards. He stepped in calmly, ran the show and I didn’t have to think twice about anything from that moment on. I couldn’t tell you if everything went to plan because I honestly think Charlotte, Mark and the team just dealt with everything that came their way and allowed us to enjoy the experience. The venue looked stunning, the team was on top of every detail, and their calm, professional approach meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment. Charlotte, Mark and everyone behind the scenes were a dream to work with - thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect for us. We felt so cared for and supported, and we’ll always be grateful for their part in such a memorable celebration. We were married at Cottons July 2025. We stayed the night before and staff were able to allocate us a room for the bridal party to all get ready the morning of the wedding. Staff were excellent and knew exactly what they were doing. I was able to contact them all the run up to the wedding and they were able to awnser questions and accommodate whayever i wanted my wedding to be like with their full support and dedication to make our dream happen! The day ran smoothly thanks to them! The verandah suite that was used for our ceremony and reception and was spectacular! And when dressed looked even better than I expected. Although there is a smaller outdoor space to other venues our pictures look amazing! The wedding breakfast was gorgeous, we had compliments from lots of our guests of how good the food was and that they were able to cater so well for over 90 people having different menu choices and requirements! Staff there went above and beyond for us and were able to ensure we had the best day ever!!! We are looking forward to staying again. We were married at Cottons July 2025. Our day was so special and I couldn’t have imagined it being any different, this was mostly thanks to the venue and to the two amazing wedding planners. The venue was amazing and the process off the day went so smoothly and I didn’t feel an ounce of stress. The wedding planners kept everything organised and helped with any questions I had with the run up to the wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning and we got some amazing photo opportunities. The room was decorated beautifully and it was exactly what I pictured, I am super grateful for this venue and the two wedding planners who made my day so special. Our day was so special and I couldn’t have imagined it being any different, this was mostly thanks to the venue and to the two amazing wedding planners. We chose Cottons for our late afternoon civil ceremony and follow on reception/ party because they offered us a bespoke package and were one of the most reasonably priced venues. They did not disappoint - they were helpful, professional and made sure everything ran smoothly. We had the most amazing Wedding Day. Even when there was a major hiccup a few months before the Wedding Jess was there to help us sort it out and made everything so much easier. A huge thank you to Jess & the team, what a fantastic day! We were looked after from the moment we set foot through the doors in 2020 when we booked our wedding, organised and professional service, I couldn’t recommend Cottons more if I tried. Everything went so smoothly and if anything did go wrong we didn’t notice! Haha, it was absolutely beautiful and I knew it would be but it by far passed expectations!! Yourself and Karen through the planning process were fantastic, although you only had a short time after taking over to work with me to plan you pulled everything together perfectly and we cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve done for us. Alex on the day was fantastic, he came and got me to view the rooms each time they were changed over as requested and made any little changes on the day for us, he was running here there & everywhere bless him to make sure things were going smoothly and on time, he even saved us 2 cupcakes just in case they all went! Please thank him very much from us both. The bar staff were all lovely, there was one gentleman in particular which we did get the name of but we have forgotten it, he was quite young, dark brown hair, he was on his own on the bar all day until around the evening, he was lovely and dealt with the pressure of everyone ordering drinks very well and always with a smile. We would happily use the venue again for any other functions in a heartbeat!! We truly can’t thank you enough for pulling our wedding day together so beautifully, thank you all!
