Cottons Hotel & Spa

From start to finish the support and communication from cottons was great!! I looked through bridebook for locations and venues and found the prices and packages really transparent price wise and no unexpected added charges. The value you get for your money is sensational. The day was beautiful; well organised and the team at cottons can answer and support every question you have which is unheard of.

Myself and my partner fell in love with cottons when we viewed it as a potential wedding venue and to see it all decorated on my wedding day was so special 🥹. I honestly couldn’t have had a better wedding day and our wedding coordinator Alex was amazing, and made sure everything was perfect for us on the day! I’m so glad we chose cottons for our special day!

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. Staff were very kind and helpful throughout the planning and on the day. Guests agreed the room was beautiful and that the staff were very friendly. Very flexible with our food feedback.

We held our Daughters wedding this weekend. As the mother of the Bride there were many pressure points both in the build up to the day and during the day itself as always with a wedding! Step forward the calm and professional Jess and Alex I cannot covey how amazing they were on every level and at all times!! At times I forgot my manners and was snappy and dare I say suffering from outbursts of anxiety!!. Not any occasion did Jess or Alex even raise an eyebrow or roll their eyes they remained calm and supportive at all times. The food was amazing we received so many compliments it’s impossible to list them. The decor stunning by perfect weddings and absolutely everything was directed perfectly so much so I eventually learned to let go and let the Cottons team do what they had been doing all along without my interference conduct an amazing day for us all and I so wish I had left them to what they do best much earlier in proceedings. If you wish to have an amazing wedding day supported and cared for by an amazing team look no further you’ve found them. I truly cannot thank the whole team and every member of staff and their were soooo many for supporting us and creating and delivering in my Daughters words. Every single part of the day was absolutely perfect, all of the team at Cottons made our day a day we will never forget and I can't thank everyone involved enough. Each part of the day was set up perfectly and it couldn't have gone any better for us. Alex was unbelievable with how relaxed he made us feel throughout the day, he was great.

Right from day one at Cottons we knew the hotel was going to be perfect, we came as guests originally to get a true feel for the place. All the staff were so welcoming, the food was excellent and the facilities second to none, we knew it would be the venue for us. The wedding showcase was really useful with a lot of suppliers coming from the contacts we got there, all the professionals you need at your fingertips. The only thing we can say is perfection, from dealing with Jess in the lead up we never felt like a problem she was always willing to help and make sure our day was so special really paying attention to every critical detail and always making us feel like the whole hotel was behind us to make the day perfect. The food tasting evening was great to picking the menu, Alex lead this so professionally felt like we were being treated like true VIPs. The food we tried was all amazing picking what we wanted was a hard choice with it all being so good. The day itself was magical every single detail was planned to perfection. We were thrilled to have Alex again, he showed so much experience and it was so good to not have to worry about anything, We could pass off all our suppliers to the events team for them to deal with direct too, the only thing we had to do was say hello to the them and look at what they had set up. The room for the wedding breakfast was set up so well with all our wedding favors, name tags and gifts all set up just how we had asked if not better than we expected. The room brought a tear to our eyes just how perfect it was with every minor detail executed perfectly. Even with any little things on the day or or issues (there is always something haha!) Alex had them all in hand changing meals for one of our guests (as we had given the wrong choice ) 10mins before everyone sat down was a request I did not think possible but was sorted with out hesitation. The day was just perfect. All of the team were great from the bar staff to the waiters and front of house staff, they all treated our guests so well and made sure everyone had enough to drink and eat and enjoyed the day. Overall Cottons exceeded all of our expectations, the wedding was perfect and I can’t thank them enough for making our day unforgettable and stress free. I’m sure we will be visiting cottons again for anniversary’s in the future!

What can I say!!! What an amazing day we had on 21/7/24!! We were so well looked after by the team at the cottons hotel and spa, we felt so supported and every single member of staff was so helpful and kind to us! The manager Alex took care of everything and made me feel so calm, there wasn't a moment where I wasn't sure what was going on or what was happening next. Everyone worked so hard to make our day easy and stress free and absolutely lovely. We can't thank everyone at the cottons enough! On the evening before the wedding we had dinner in the restaurant. We had a lovely separate room with a big table and I think it was Ben who waited on us. He was absolutely lovely and so helpful I'd like him to know he made our dinner really relaxed and special! We had breakfast brought to the cranford room on the morning of the wedding and it was amazing everyone enjoyed it! The wedding breakfast was also amazing! The food was so so good and each course came just at the right time, there was no waiting around and it didn't feel rushed either. there were no issues as far as I am aware, it was absolutely perfect everyone talked about how good the beef was! So please let the chefs know how very happy we were with the food. The staff who waited on the tables were so attentive and kind. Just perfection from start to finish. Our room was comfortable and it was lovely to find a bottle of champagne when we got back! Breakfast this morning was amazing and there was space for all of our guests who stayed. It was a lovely relaxing finish to our wedding weekend. It was just so smooth and easy. We felt proud to have our day at the cottons hotel, everyone said how amazing it was. Huge thank you to Alex who helped Ian feel at ease before the ceremony and was communicating with us throughout the day. He was amazing. I started worrying about us running late as the registrars did run over their time beforehand, and he told me to leave it to him. Everything just felt so organised and under control and I can't thank him enough for that. It doesn't take much to set me off panicking and there honestly was not a single moment where I felt stressed about how it was all going. Jess the wedding co-ordinator has been so helpful throughout our planning, always at the end of the phone or email we were very lucky she started working at the cottons just after we booked! It all went to plan thanks to her organising and communication. We'll be forever grateful to her for her hard work. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts. We may see the staff again as we plan to stay at the cottons hotel for our first anniversary next year! 🥂😊 We couldn't be happier with the service and hospitality. We have had nothing but pleasant stays and visits at Cottons hotel and Spa in Knutsford and have always found all the staff, from reception, waiting on and the spa to be nothing but friendly, pleasant and extremely helpful, hence one of the reasons we chose this venue for our wedding. I have nothing but praise in particular for Jess the wedding and events coordinator who was there from the start with all the organization and paperwork and nothing was too much trouble for her, she was extremely pleasant to work with and there for support up to the day. I checked in the night before and on the day there was Alex who was absolutely amazing with his support and made the day stress free for myself. He did all the overseeing of the final stages on the day, dealing with all deliveries from florist, cake maker, venue dressers , the registrars, etc. making sure all went to plan. The wedding breakfast, canapés, drinks especially the wine was exceptional, we had our own music and control of the volume which got a bit louder towards the end 😊🕺 I could not have done it without these two! Thank you Jess and Alex! We have no hesitation in recommending this venue and we will be returning at least once a year on our anniversary 💕

I cannot thank the team at Cottons enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! From beginning to end the team worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was absolute perfection. Special thanks must go to Jess our coordinator who was always at the end of the phone to answer enquiries and many questions - nothing was ever too much trouble. Another special thanks to Alex who did an amazing job of running the day - even though we arrived later than expected! The day was just amazing from beginning to end - the food was superb, bar staff were fantastic and accommodation was brilliant. The dancefloor absolutely made our night and was packed right up until 1am! I would highly recommend Cottons hotel to anyone planning a wedding. It was the best decision we made aside from saying I do!
