We couldn't have hoped for a better venue to host our wedding. The whole process from start to finish has been a joy. When we first toured the venue, we knew we were having a smaller wedding of circa 50 people and thought this would mean the beautiful Amara Ballroom would be off limits to us. This was not the case at all. We were welcomed to use this space and just couldn't picture getting married anywhere else. Natasha and Jules were our first points of contact and were so helpful. Jules made clear the packages that were available and what needed to be decided when. Any questions we had were answered quickly and with complete honesty. Our meal tasting was also fantastic where we were hosted by Suzanne. She was wonderful and had just the energy to settle any nerves. The food was great and the biggest trouble was picking between the things we tried - we could have had it all! The wedding day itself - I cannot fault one thing. Every single member of staff assigned to our wedding offered so much care and attention - they were all wonderful. We look back on the day with so much joy. Not even Storm Bert could dampen our spirits. Suzanne and Raj made sure that everything ran seamlessly and a huge thank you to both of them, as well as the bar staff and waiters that looked after our tables, and Milena on reception. I want to give a special shout out to Lauren who has been looking after us since just before the one month meeting. Her dedication to making sure that everything went smoothly was unbelievable. I cannot get over the lengths Lauren went to - getting drenched finding and driving a golf buggy - to make sure that I made it from my apartment suite to the ballroom as dry as possible in my wedding dress. The selflessness was unreal and I am utterly grateful for the heart and soul that went into making the day run smoothly. There is nowhere we would rather have decided to get married. Thank you Cotswold Hotel and Spa, you are truly amazing and I would not hesitate recommending you to other couples wanting to get married.

We truly had an amazing experience here and can’t recommend it enough. Not only was it a beautiful setting for our wedding but the staff were incredible. They worked seamlessly to ensure everything went well, before, during and after the wedding. They really took any stress away from us and had so much experience to offer. We really enjoyed our day, it was everything we wanted it to be and more. We stayed in an apartment suite with our bridal party and they were lovely and clean with plenty of space to get ready and just added a touch of luxury to our experience.

Hi, Just a quick note to say thank you so much for a memorable weekend. From the staff looking after us from when we arrived on friday and throughout the day on saturday. Please give my compliments to them all. The food was absolutely amazing too, so extra compliments to the chef. We understood the delay in getting into our rooms on Friday due to the Cheltenham races but we were more than looked after when we arrived – so thank you very much. Everyone commented about the beautiful venue.

Not a bad word to say about our wedding day celebrated at this beautiful venue. Everything ran seamless and perfectly. The staff go above and beyond, very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much hassle. The venue is simply stunning. Hotel rooms are spotless and have everything you need. All my guests were blown away with whole day, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Suzanne was on hand on the day and she is the most lovely person, made me feel more relaxed as I was super nervous. Food was DELICIOUS...no words! Thankyou for the best day ever

I will just like to say from the minute we book this venue I fell in love with the amara ballroom! The room is so beautiful and the space and lighting is amazing it makes it feel so magical. From start to finish the venue organisers were there for us all the way answering and helping us with any questions or ideas we would like to use or ask! I would like to shout to Lauren who’s has been an absolute star in being there for us from day one. Nothing was to much trouble no matter how many emails I sent her or telephone calls. She went above and beyond to accommodate all of what we wanted. The whole process with her was enjoyable and fun. The day itself was one to remember the room looked amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for us and our guests, from makeup and hair to the ceremony and wedding breakfast to the evening reception they were all friendly and professional. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how good the canapés were and I missed out on them gutted 😞 I would like to shout out to Suzanne who was by my side all day and made me feel relaxed and at ease. She laughed with me and Stuart all day! And also to Miles he was with us too all day too. He so lovely and helped with anything we asked off him you both made our day a little bit more special!!! How did you find the planning process? - breezy and smooth. Lauren was great and noted down all of our special requests. The payment links were good. Did anyone in particular make the process easier or more enjoyable for you? - Lauren, Susanne & Miles made the day so easy and were so professional and on it at all times! Was there anything that we could improve on? - dress code of the waiting staff was a little under dressed (blue jeans and T-shirts and puffer jackets!) for a wedding, but they were very efficient and friendly which was still great. Susanne was very smart and professional. Also the shower in the bridal suite did not work- plug hole blocked which flooded the bathroom floor. Not a huge issue as I showered in another guest room. What was the best part of your day? - the evening was amazing- great DJ and everyone was up dancing. Miles was always floating around if we needed him. The food was fabulous. Bar staff were great too. What made you book our venue? - how beautiful the ballroom was- the chandeliers and fairy lights! (I found you on TikTok). Holly/Lauren’s first impression was great and we loved them and the venue. Could you suggest an area we could improve on? - I was a little disappointed that we could not go and do the personal photos on the golf buggies at 2pm as planned. I appreciate the site is a golf course as well, however it is our most special day that we have paid good money for and I wonder if there would have been a way for us to go a different route to the lake/bridge to be able to do them. By 5pm when we were offered the buggies the moment had kind of passed and we wanted to go and freshen up ready for the evening. We did some up by the venue in the end but just a little thought I had! Overall though absolutely amazing from start to finish. So seamless and stress free and everybody was genuinely so helpful and caring. We had the best day possible and I thank you all at the Cotswolds hotel and spa for that! Cheers!

Me and Simon had the best day, we cannot thank the staff enough. Our guests have also gave us amazing feed back and everyone had the best time. Everyone worked so hard, and if you have any questions or suggestions they will listen and do their best to help your day run smoothly!

It was lovely when Holly and Suzanne came to wave me off in the Morris Minor when we set off for the church. The man that helped us in the evening was also fantastic. Incredibly helpful and polite (sorry we can’t remember his name!) Was there anything that we could improve on? Nothing. The day was perfect. The venue: What made you book our venue? The ballroom is beautiful and light. We loved the fairy lights and chandeliers on the ceiling. We also wanted to have a spacious venue due to having a large family. What was your favourite part about the venue? The ballroom is just beautiful. I also loved getting ready in the bridal room. Could you suggest an area we could improve on? Everything was perfect.

Cotswolds Hotel, Golf & Spa is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. The main Amara ballroom has a white draped ceiling covered in fairy lights, and there are beautiful chandeliers hanging down - it’s like something out of a fairy tale. I love the set up of the rooms as everything is all in one place meaning that the guests are not separated away from each other - the main room leads onto the bar and also onto the outside terrace. The venue have a variety of centrepieces that you can chose from, and you also have the option of hiring other decorative items and a post box which saves you having to buy them and dispose of them again after the wedding. The planning and organisation prior to the wedding day went very smoothly, our main point of contact was Jules who was very helpful and would respond to any queries that we had very promptly. The day itself could not have gone any better, everything went according to plan which we would like to thank Jules, Suzanne and Miles for. They were always there checking in on us and letting us know where we should be or what we should be doing next which we greatly appreciated. For our couples photos we were able to hire out golf buggies to take us out onto the golf course. It was a stunning location in front of a lake, perfect for photos. The three course wedding breakfast and hog roast in the evening were delicious and we had many guests commenting on how amazing the food was. At the reception we had the resident DJ Ian, he contacted us before the day to find out what sort of music we liked, and we were also able to request songs on the night. All of our guests had a great time dancing the night away! After the wedding we had so many messages from guests telling us how much they enjoyed the day, we even had one guest message us to say that it was the best wedding he had ever been to! We are so glad that we chose Cotswolds Hotel, Golf and Spa for our wedding venue, we would not have changed a thing.

Did anyone in particular make the process easier or more enjoyable for you? – Everyone from reception to the DJ and bar staff. Was there anything that we could improve on? Maybe inform the Groom that they can have a late checkout on the day of the wedding, if they are not seeing the bride before so that they can get ready for the wedding. On the day itself: What was the best part of your day? – The ceremony, so unforgettable and seamless. Was there anyone in particular that made your day extra special? – The ladies who run the service done it so beautifully. Was there anything that we could improve on? – No, literally nothing about the day could have been improved. The venue: What made you book our venue? – We came on a recommendation to a wedding fayre and the ballroom is stunning the course is stunning and so are the views. What was your favourite part about the venue? – The views were outrageously beautiful. Could you suggest an area we could improve on? - Get a hot tub and pool so people can chill around this as well as play golf to relax.
