Coombe Lodge promises exclusive use of the house and gardens. It's a tranquil oasis, ideal for wedding receptions and ceremonies, yet only a short distance from Bristol, just 8 miles off the M5 and 4 miles from Bristol Airport. Our friendly and highly experienced team ensure that you and your guests can relax and enjoy your celebration, confident in the knowledge that your day will be beyond expectation. Couples have the freedom to choose from a variety of beautiful chandelier lit ceremony rooms each with lovely views of the garden. Alternatively couples can opt for an outdoor wedding ceremony situated in the tranquil gardens, under a picturesque stone archway. Your celebratory drinks reception can take place in the beautiful wood panelled lounge and gallery, where you and your guests can enjoy the open fire and grand piano. In fine weather make the most of the grand balcony with impressive panoramic views, or relax in the intimate garden courtyard. The beautiful bright Music Room is lined with windows affording stunning views. It can accommodate up to 160 seated guests for a wedding ceremony and/or reception, with many more for an evening party. Additional rooms are available and can be used as a children’s play room, entertainments area or our luxurious Library. Our 12 luxurious bedrooms are available exclusively for you and your guests, when hosting a wedding with us. They are impressive, spacious and luxurious. (A minimum of 8 bedrooms are required for each wedding and are price in addition to the venue hire.) Food is our passion and we have a full time team of chefs who love the opportunity to surprise and delight ! We have an extensive variety of menus and our experienced and friendly team will support you, and help in whatever way they can. We would love the opportunity to meet you and show you around this special place, which really must be experienced to be fully appreciated. We have loved every single wedding we have hosted at Coombe Lodge. We love that every wedding is different and so personal to the couple themselves, plus it is great for wedding inspiration!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Relax and enjoy it! We are here to take all the stress out of the wedding planning and to help put the fun in.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It's the personal details that make each and every wedding so memorable. One of my favourites was when the Bride got her Year 2 class to write what they thought Married life & Weddings meant. Their responses were priceless, my personal favourites had to be - "A Wedding should have shiny spoons" (Marlon - Aged 7) & "A good husband is someone who makes a cup of tea for his wife" (Logan - Age 7). Adorable!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
You can't beat our sunset shots here at Coombe Lodge. With the Somerset hills as your backdrop it really is a photo that will take your breath away. Speaking honestly however, Coombe Lodge really is a photographers paradise. With our 20 acres of exclusive gardens, with our fairy lit archway and walled gardens your photo album will be full. Whether you are looking for a Spring, Summer, Autumnal or Winter wedding our venue will have everything for you.

What’s your favourite canapé?
This is such a hard choice - they are all delicious. But if I did have to choose then it would be "Seared sirloin with capers and parmesan" and also 'sesame halloumi with chilli jam' which is a really great vegetarian option.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Chocolate! Always. Our chefs really do make the best chocolate brownie! We agree this is a bold claim so we will make sure to let you try it when you come and visit.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Overall, we feel Coombe Lodge has the complete package! Its true beauty and romance can only be exceeded by the dedicated team that continues to build upon the values and goals in making Coombe Lodge an even better place then it already is. Our reputation has been built upon great service, outstanding food, drink and attention to detail, so that our couple’s will have nothing but wonderful memories of their special day at Coombe Lodge.
