Coltsfoot Country Retreat

My husband and I had our wedding at Coltsfoot in July 2024 and we had the most amazing day! Everyone at Coltsfoot were extremely helpful, and all went above and beyond for us! The grounds are stunning, and we took the opportunity to have some photos with the alpacas, it was a lovely addition to the day. They had a lot of different food options, and catered for all food allergies for our guests. The rooms are lovely and all our guests said how lovely and comfy the rooms were. Highly recommend this venue, we wouldn’t change anything from our wedding day

What a dream wedding venue coltsfoot is! From the moment my now husband and I stepped onto the grounds and into the barn we knew it was the one. The whole place had the most wonderful homely feel and it was so personal and intimate - just what we wanted for our wedding day. Not only is the venue incredible but every member of the team are just as incredible. We could not have asked for more accommodating, friendly, helpful and simply lovely people to have helped plan our wedding.

We got married here in September 2023, and I couldn't have wished for a better place. The team were so supportive of anything we wanted. We wanted a Hindu-style ceremony and prayer, and the team just went with it! I can't say thank Coltsfoot enough. We had around 60 guests, and it felt like a large family gathering. Guests loved the food and the accommodations are 5 stars.

We cannot express enough that we just had the most perfect wedding thanks to Coltsfoot. Everything went so smoothly, it was relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. An extra special thank you to Emma who actually left and went to the shops for us when my (now) husbands favourite beer ran out. Above and beyond! The rooms were remarkable. All our guests who stayed were so impressed. Honestly, I can't thank Coltsfoot enough for giving us the day we waited so long for!

Even though we had drizzly rain for most of the day, there was plenty of inside space for our 110 guests and the venue looked great with plenty of spots for our photos. Having the bar, marquee and mezzanine separate from the main barn room worked well when we needed to be indoors. The food and drink were fantastic – all our guests were full of compliments for the main meal (especially the lamb which was cooked to perfection) as well as the canapes and the evening food.

Coltsfoot did us proud on 24th November 2022 for our wedding day. An amazing venue. The staff namely Ruth & Jenny were great from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was organised, and the day flowed nice and easy. The team there made it effortless. The rooms, food, and service were outstanding, and our day was definitely one to remember. Thank you Coltsfoot. We would recommend this as the perfect place to say I Do.

We were really impressed with everything the venue offered: Exclusive use, accommodation, bar, fireplace, parking and most importantly, friendly and accommodating staff. From the very beginning we were really impressed with the service we received. On the day of our wedding, the day run really smoothly with support of all the staff and was perfect. A special thanks to Emma, who was wonderful throughout our whole experience. The whole team provided a great service to all our family and friends.

Everything was organised and stress free, the planning on the day was done to exact precision and everyone knew what was happening and when. The waiting staff were professional and friendly and not to mention the food was AMAZING. We received so many compliments on how delicious it was. The grounds and rooms where also breath-taking and are kept so well and maintained. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team.

Everything was so relaxed and well planned, the day went without a hitch! We were lucky enough to have Emma, Ruth and Niamh running the day for us, without them I would have been nervous and anxious but they bug us at ease and everything run smoothly. They are true pros. The venue was set up by Ruth and Niamh and was exactly how I envisioned it, perfection! Emma was in charge of the evening and kept everything running smoothly. I cannot thank them enough.

My sister got married here in November 2022 and we had the BEST day ever!!! The venue was stunning, the food was delicious and the teams attention to detail was outstanding. A massive thank you to Emma who planned the whole wedding we feel like you were just part of the family, such a warm aura, so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend asking for Emma when booking at this venue. Thank you so much everyone!
