Colshaw Hall

We cannot thank the team at Colshaw Hall enough. Our wedding say in September was all we could have dreamed of! From the outset the Team were contactable, approachable and able to answer any queries quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much bother for them, and they made the whole wedding planning process fun and eased our stress! The final meeting 6 weeks before our wedding allowed us to totally relax in the final weeks running up to the day. On the day itself, everything was perfect. Kirsty ensured that we had the best day of our lives, and our guests commented on how well ran the day was - some saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to! The organisation of the Colshaw Team ensured that we could fully immerse ourselves and enjoy the day. There aren’t enough words to express how fab the Colshaw Team are - they have got it down to a tee and we hope that we can come back to the venue as wedding guests in the future!

We held our wedding at Colshaw Hall in November 2024 and we would like to thank the whole team at Colshaw for making our wedding day the most magical and special day - one that we will remember forever. We knew from the moment we attended an open event last December and David (owner) showed us around that Colshaw Hall was the perfect setting for our dream wedding but the day itself surpassed both of our expectations. It goes without saying how beautiful the venue is - the rooms in the hall are grand and the grounds are stunning - both make for perfect photograph opportunities! The vista in the ceremony hall provides a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony. Our guests were even treated to a stunning display of dancing squirrels and robins whilst they waited our arrival! However, it is the team at Colshaw Hall that really make this venue so special. As a same sex couple, it was important that our wedding venue felt safe and inclusive for everyone, and every single member of the Colshaw Hall team made us feel comfortable from the very first moment we visited the venue. The Colshaw Hall events management team were exceptional throughout the whole process. Shelley and Tracey provided us with endless support and guidance in preparing for the day and were so responsive and accommodating of all of our requests. The Floral Team at Colshaw provided us with the most beautiful floral arrangements in the Ceremony Hall and Peel Suite, and Barretts Caterers provided the most delicious food (and lots of it!) ensuring that our guests were well fed. On the wedding day itself, Marisa and Sarah took such great care of us and our guests as they arrived, and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable at every moment - making sure we had fizz in our hands, button holes on our jackets and arrived at the Ceremony Hall precisely on time. Ian as our toastmaster was just incredible - so warm, so calming and made us feel incredibly relaxed. He made sure that we were able to take moments throughout the day to take it all in - and our guests absolutely loved him! He greeted our families as if they were old friends and gave it a really personal feel by taking time to get to know their names. Our guests all commented on how stunning the venue was and how attentive the staff were and this made everyone feel so welcome and inclusive - which was extremely important to us as a couple. Thank you to everyone at Colshaw Hall for making our dream wedding a reality!

A huge thank you to all of the team that made our day the best day of our lives. From start to finish the process was seamless and we really enjoyed the efficiency of all of the staff that helped us on our journey. Colshaw hall staff and venue was absolutely faultless!

Our wedding day was simply magical. We enjoyed every second of the day and that was simply because of Colshaw hall staff. They organised themselves perfectly so we didn’t need to worry, no job was too big. They are the friendliest staff and will go above and beyond to make sure you have the most special day. I would love to do the day all over again x 100 and every time I would pick colshaw hall. We will be forever great full for making our day so special

We honestly can’t thank Colshaw Hall enough, from the moment of booking to after our special day they have been nothing short of amazing. They really get to know their couples on a personal level and nothing was ever too much trouble no matter who you spoke to. The day ran like an absolute dream and was so organised which made myself and Joe feel at such ease, even the guests commented on how organised the day was and said it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Every single member of staff is a credit to this wedding venue, no matter who we dealt with we were just greeted with such warmth and kindness. If we were to do the day again we honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing and would have booked yourselves in a heartbeat. The morning after the wedding whilst eating breakfast, David came and spoke to us and asked us about the day and we thought this was such a lovely touch (despite how hungover we both was haha). Thank you Colshaw for giving us the best wedding day we could have dreamed of x

Colshaw were amazing from First booking to the actually day itself! Everything couldn’t have gone any better and the staff were a massive part of that! Everyone commented on the venue and staff and the whole day ran like clockwork! Can’t thank Colshaw enough for helping make this the best day of our lives. If you’re going to get married anywhere get married at Colshaw!

From the very start staff at colshaw were so easy to deal with and went out of their way to make our day as special as it was . So many people had said it was the best venue and wedding they had ever been too . That it purely down to everyone at colshaw who had helped to bring this event together . We had our wedding at Colshaw Hall on the 27th of October and we couldn’t recommend the venue or the staff that work there more. The venue is beautiful with everything you need for a wedding in one place, the staff are equally incredible and will do anything to make sure your day goes the way you want, from the ladies who help you on the day, to the toast master, to everyone else in the back ground. It was such a lovely environment and such caring people. From a very disorganised bride I was never judge for not having things ready and they were always helpful to make sure the day ran perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.

The staff are approachable and professional - we never felt silly asking questions or making requests. If you’ve never been married before it’s quite overwhelming and I felt in safe hands throughout. Every single element of a wedding day has been thought about by the Colshaw team. Each of the suppliers recommended by the team were also exceptional. We had the BEST day of our lives, honestly would not change a thing. Whats more, our photos within the grounds are stunning. We couldn’t be happier. If you are thinking of getting married and Coshaw is one of the options, just forget the others and do Colshaw. You won’t regret it.
