Thankyou to everyone at the Coed who made not only our big day, but also the whole planning process, an absolutely amazing experience for us! Over the 18 months of planning we spoke to/met with all of the wedding co-ordinators and various Hotel staff, and always received prompt, detailed, friendly responses. Nothing was too much trouble! We visited many times for lunch/dinner leading up to the wedding and always had lovely service from the Restaurant/Bar team, as well as fantastic food and scenery! In terms of the big day, I can’t thank the people who ran the day enough! Everything was on time, questions were answered thoroughly, and last minute changes were accommodated well. A friendly atmosphere the night before and morning of was created, a yummy breakfast was delivered to the Bridal Party when getting ready and bedrooms were so clean and spacious! The Coed team also worked so well with our Photographer to make sure we made the best out of our poor weather situation - very grateful for the Folly which kept everyone covered and we still got the outdoor feel to our photos! The team created a bespoke menu for our guests, as well as offering traditional options and both went down a treat! Presentation was fantastic, generous portions and the team handing out the food were amazing, so friendly and approachable - definitely added to the upbeat atmosphere I was hoping for the wedding breakfast. From communication and planning to delivery and execution, I can’t recommend having a wedding at the Coed Y Mwstwr enough! We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you so much!

Where to start 🤩 after looking at multiple wedding venues and nothing feel quite right we decided to have an appointment with Coed and knew within minutes we had to book our wedding there! Everyone single member has staff has been so friendly, so accommodating and has gone above and beyond! The wedding planners Megan, Rachel and Tegan were so amazing, no question was silly and no request was too much. Paul from the kitchen staff was excellent at tailoring everything to our liking aswell as catering to all allergies and preferences. I really can not recommend this venue more, they truly care about every wedding and it has such a strong family vibe aswell as stunning scenery x

We got married at Coed-Y-Mwstwr in July 2024 and it was the most amazing day! All of the staff were brilliant and couldn't be more accommodating, even the guests commented on how great they were. The hotel and the grounds itself is simply stunning and looks beautiful in our photos, we had our ceremony in The Folly and the drinks reception in the surrounding gardens. The wedding breakfast was held in the Hendre suite and the food was incredible, we still get comments from our guests many weeks later. A special mention to Ollie who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran on time and that we were relaxed throughout the day. Thank you to the wedding team, especially Rachel who was our coordinator on the day.

We had the most perfect day celebrating our wedding at the Coed-Y-Mwstwr. The venue is beautiful - our guests loved it and it looks stunning in all of the photos. The staff were also great and made sure the day ran smoothly. The food was lovely too. Would recommend!

Dear Rachel and The Coed Y Mwstwr Team, We just wanted to send you an email to thank you for making our wedding day so special. From the moment we arrived on the Thursday you helped and took the stress off both of us, by helping us unload the car, going over final plans and allowing us to check into our rooms. Thank you to everyone who helped the morning of the wedding the staff were absolutely brilliant. Thank you to everyone who helped me and my bridal party just before the ceremony Megan and another man sorry I didn't catch his name. They were amazing and helped me to stay calm. The ceremony room and the wedding breakfast room was just perfect. Thank you for helping our suppliers to set up. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Paul for showing us around the final set up in the breakfast room and for announcing us to our guests. He was so lovely and kind. Thank you to the amazing chefs, waiters and waitresses to help bring out our delicious food. The food was incredible and had so many compliments in the day from the guests. Including the hog roast in the evening. Thank you to all the bar staff for serving throughout the day and night you were fab. And a big thank you to you Rachel for all the answered emails and requests. You made this planning so easy and stress free. You are very good at your job and we will definitely recommend this venue to friends who are looking for a place to get married. Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel were absolutely amazing from start to finish! The weddings team responded to all emails within around a working day, and were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive throughout. The catering team on the day were phenomenal, the food was exquisite and we couldn't have asked for anything more of the team. Highly, highly recommend!

From the moment we first viewed the Coed-Y-Mwstwr we knew it was the right place for us. The staff were so welcoming (we just had this lovely warm feeling and got the sense that we would be so well looked after) and the venue itself is beautiful. The amount of space available really stood out to us. We had our ceremony in the Elliot Suite, our drinks reception outside in the folly and surrounding gardens, our wedding breakfast in the Hendre Suite, and in the evening we utilised the patio area. You can really make the most of all the great spaces they have to offer. The communication leading up to the day was faultless and the team were always on hand to answer any queries we had. They were so thorough and the day itself ran seamlessly. We were so attentively looked after and if anything did go wrong, we certainly didn't know about it! Thank you to all the team, particularly Rachel, Paul and Megan who we had regular dealings with. To sum it all up, the staff are wonderful, the venue is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was fab. We had the best day and would highly recommend this venue to everyone.

Where to start! From the moment we came across Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel we were captivated and immediately booked a show around. The drive to the grounds are simply stunning and it was a shock to us that the first venue we found would be where we tied the knot! In comparison to other venues, we found ourselves constantly comparing and stating, CYM had this and that and the layout/flow of the venue is perfect. Then we met Rachel who showed us around and helped visualise our day and how it would look at CYM (not many co-ordinators did this at other places...!) - following this, we just knew, it had to be CYM. The communication and planning from the whole team is flawless, there was nothing they couldn't help with or answer, they are truly incredible and I feel lucky to have had them working behind the scenes for our day. THE DAY! It was simply perfect, with the help of the team getting everything in the right place and how polite they were throughout the day, again, nothing was a problem and everyone was so helpful! Even with running to get me a tissue as I shed a nervous tissue before I walked down the aisle. I honestly cannot recommend this venue and the team highly enough - every meeting and visit, we were always offered refreshments, the whole team always had a smile on their face - they are miracle workers and I am proud to have had our special day at CYM - I couldn't have imagine going anywhere else (coming from a Wedding Photographer who has seen a lot of venues across South Wales!) Thank you to all but especially Rachel for your hard work and constant help throughout the planning and our day.

Ours was a small intimate wedding (7 in total) only booked in March. We are a mature couple (80 and 69!!), but we were treated in an exceptional welcoming way, and nothing was too much trouble. Jennifer was a Godsend when it came to the music which made it even more relaxing. The venue was beautiful, the staff without exception were very helpful, the Wedding Service was wonderfully relaxed, and the food was superb. A truly wonderful, memorable day! The venue is stunning. We had so many compliments from our guests saying how lovely it is. The wedding events team are great and always on hand if you need anything. The day itself went without a hitch and thats down to the coordination between all the team. We had such a great day. The food was amazing and noone went hungry and all said how lovely it was.
