Claverton is a beautifully run Edwardian country house wedding venue, offering a relaxed yet refined setting for couples seeking a personal and memorable celebration. Set within three private acres near Battle, East Sussex, the house and gardens provide an elegant backdrop for weddings throughout the year.
We host both intimate weddings and exclusive-use celebrations for up to 100 guests. Ceremonies and receptions can take place indoors or outdoors, with licensed spaces including our light-filled function room, which opens directly onto a private terrace and landscaped gardens.
On-site accommodation is available for up to 22–24 guests across 11 individually styled bedrooms, allowing couples and their closest family and friends to enjoy the full wedding experience from arrival through to breakfast the following morning.
With in-house catering, flexible packages and an experienced events team, Claverton is known for its calm planning process, excellent food and warm, attentive service.

We fell in love with the Claverton and knew it was just right for us as we were only going to have a very small number of guests, and that was no problem for Kerry.
