Cardney Steading Events & Weddings

My daughter's wedding at Cardney Steading was quite simply the most perfect day. The location is stunning and the team at Cardney pulled out all the stops out to make Emily and Patrick's day truly memorable. The accommodation on site was ideal and a wonderful place to spend time with the family and bridesmaids on the wedding day. The outdoor space for the ceremony was beautiful and the ground of the estate is fantastic for photographs and pre meal drinks for the guests. The space for the meal and dancing was ideal and great to have the courtyard to have chat to friends and family. Beth made sure everything went well from the first meeting right up to to the wedding day - she literally could not have been more helpful and accommodating. A fantastic venue for creating special memories.

Nothing was a problem, everything was thought of. Lewis and Katriona were fabulous and Beth was nothing short of incredible. Our day couldn't have been more amazing if we tried. Thank you to everyone at Cardney for being superstars. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything. Our wedding was even better than we could've imagine and it's all down to you. I'm struggling to put into words just how grateful I am, from all the planning help to all the moral support; you really are incredible.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the Cardney team for everything you did to make Emily and Patrick’s wedding day absolutely perfect. It really could not have been more wonderful– such a fantastic venue, accommodation was excellent and you could not have been more accommodating in making sure that everything ran according to plan. All the little extra touches made it even more lovely. Our family and friends all had a brilliant time and I know that it is a day that we will never forget – such a happy day spent celebrating with Emily and Patrick. We searched high and low for our dream wedding venue… and in Cardney we got just that! We married on 31st May 2023 and it was a perfect day. Our guests were blown away with the venue and everything ran like clockwork (I’ve no idea how, but I’m fairly sure the wedding fairy godmother, aka Beth, was responsible!) We had some unusual requests from the start and Beth and Lewis accommodated these with enthusiasm. We can’t thank them enough for what they did and for helping to give us our perfect day! We will miss having an excuse to travel up to Dunkeld now it’s all over but will continue to watch the success of this magical estate from afar. Thank you once again all of you at Cardney!💕💕

We had an absolute ball on our wedding day at Cardney Steading! We were so grateful for all their effort. Beth, Lewis, Kat and the team couldn't have done enough for us. The flexibility of the venue lends itself really well to the setting. We had options to get married inside and outdoors an this was flexible right up to the day of the wedding. They were very knowledgeable about how the venue works best for the occasion and helped us plan how to get the best out of the venue. On our big day there was plenty of staff to make sure drinks were flowing and nobody was waiting in queues behind the bar. We had a fairly big wedding (~150 guests) so this was no mean feat. They also did a great job of hosting everyone the day after the wedding meaning we had the chance to catch up with all of our guests for a bit longer. We had a phenomenal weekend and can't thank you enough for everything.

The whole experience from first viewing to the big day was spot on, could not have asked for more. Beautiful venue with a stunning backdrop. Beth and the team were very professional and know exactly how to make the day run smoothly. So glad we chose Cardney.

What a fabulous venue, and what a wonderful team of people! Ive photographed weddings for over a decade and NEVER had the opportunity to capture a couple in a rowing boat on their wedding day until I came to Cardney! Goals!!! The views, the expansive hills, forests, lakes... it's so picturesque it's almost overwhelming! If you're looking for a stunning, private, reliable, unique wedding venue in Scotland then look no further. Love it here.

The most perfect venue we could ever have hoped for. Cardney Steading took our expectations and blew them through the roof. Absolutely everything was spot on in every way. From the very first time we saw the place we absolutely fell in love. It has everything you could want and more. There are so many different areas and options it has something to suit anyone's taste. Woods, water, mountains, beautiful barn... It literally has everything. We had emailed to pay our deposit before we even got back to Glasgow! Beth is an absolute superstar. She made us feel so at ease upon our first meeting and has absolutely everything under control. She has an eye for detail and is so organised, friendly and lovely. Straight talking in the very best way. She kept us right throughout all the planning process and on the day. We honestly can't thank her enough. Huge shout out to Lewis and all the Cardney staff as well who literally couldn't have done more for us. So many of our guests said how wonderful the venue was and what a chilled, laid-back and happy atmosphere it had. There were lots of places for people to go into during the reception, but at no point did it feel like the party was split up because of the natural flow of the venue. The bar is also the most beautiful bar we've ever seen. The espresso martini tap is also absolutely class! The only issue we had is that it ended! Wish we could do it every weekend.

It is picturesque and just perfect. We stayed in one of the lodges on the estate and it was mind-blowing. But what really made it was the service. Nothing is too much bother! Owner happily shuttle runs you to and from the accommodation and main venue. One guest caught a little too much sun and the bar gave her some after sun. The accommodation had literally everything too! Just when you thought oh I forgot to bring ... Not a problem, there's some here!

An absolutely stunning venue with brilliant staff. The evening light show in the woods was excellent:with a fire pit and toasted marshmallows outside it all helped the occasion. First class catering set out in converted stables was sublime. Wedding photographs taken at the side of the loch along with swan's,ducks and ducklings in the background was an inspired setting. Champagne and assorted cocktails set the tone for the rest of the day and night
