I Genuinely Can't Express How Great Fred Is!!
I genuinely can’t express how amazing Fred is! Her designs are without a doubt the best I’ve seen and after having received several invites Fred had made for other couples for their big day, it was the first (and easiest) decision we made for our big day. Not only is she talented but she made the whole process of deciding what we needed so stress free. I was lucky enough that Fred played an even bigger part in our wedding from saving the day by recommending a excellent florist after our one could no longer do our wedding less than 6 months beforehand to actually setting up on the day. To say she brought our vision to life is an understatement! I cannot recommend Fred and Yours Occasionally highly enough xxx

Highly Recommend
Highly recommend! Fred was very patient with me after turning into a bit of a bridezilla, but after sending her a design I liked she has personalised it to exactly how I wanted it and they are perfect! Very high quality and just all round perfect! I’m so happy with them!

Nothing Was Too Much Trouble.
Myself and my fiancé used Yours Occasionally for all of our wedding stationery. I am a perfectionist and finding someone with the same vision as me was difficult, but we found that same appreciation and vision from Fred. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot thank you enough. We are delighted with the end results. Seriously I cannot praise you enough. You are superb at what you do. Thanks again Fred.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

I can't narrow this down to just one wedding, every wedding is unique and special and to pick one out of all of the weddings I have made stationery for would be too hard.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Bespoke, modern, stylish, fresh

What about your business are you most proud of?

I'm proud that I started this business from nothing and I have worked hard on getting myself known and building my reputation, winning fourteen awards has made me feel like I'm really in the right job. I just love what I do.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

HAVE FUN!!! When you're planning a wedding it can be very daunting sometimes. If you ever start feeling stressed, stop what you're doing, take a step back and remember what you're doing it for. You're marrying the person that you love, all that matters is the vows you exchange at the altar, after that everything else is a bonus. Once you have that in your head, you'll start enjoying it again.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I really love personalisation, it makes people feel special, so things like personalised readings make such a lovely keepsake of the day.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I normally meet with the couple (sometimes the groom is enthusiastic!) and we talk though their wedding and what ideas they have and what they want the overall look to be. We then discuss style and designs of the invitations, once that's agreed, we talk through what else they might need for their wedding, which is where I will recommend my suppliers to them. The following day I will send a quotation to the couple and if they want to go ahead, I send them an invitation checklist form which gives me all of the details I need to design the invitations, I then go on to make the invitations once all of the proofs have been approved by the couple (and only when!). When they're finished I photograph them for my website (and posterity!) and ship them to my couples.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

The invitation is the most important piece of stationery you need for your wedding, not only does it set the tone for the wedding, as it is the first thing your guest will see that is related to your wedding. It then gives guests an idea of your colours, style, themes etc. It is also an important information giver, the more detail and information you add to your invitation, the less likely you are going to be answering none stop questions about your wedding day, which you really don't need.

What is your best seller?

My best seller is the Personalised Wedding Breakfast Menu Card. It's the personal touches as I said before. This also saves on having to have both Place Cards and a menu card. If your guests have already chosen their meal through the invitation RSVP, it's great to remind them what they ordered, and it looks so pretty tucked into the napkin.

What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?

Well that's a good question....I often have clients collect directly from me so that I can talk them through their order, but I wouldn't say that was innovative, just convenient! However, moving slightly forward with the times, I do a lot of e-Invites or e-Save the dates, so simply delivering by email with a confirmation that it's arrived in the client's inbox is definitely innovative, especially with the postal service these day!

How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?

I think that fonts really do speak a thousand words, there are some beautiful fonts available and they can really set the tone of your stationery, but equally as important is the wording you choose, with good fonts and beautiful words you can make any colour seem romantic, even lime green (well almost!!)
