What is your most memorable wedding?
New years eve of 2015. Having over one hundred men bouncing on a sweeping staircase while chanting songs was quite memorable!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Raw. Artistic. Dramatic. Stylish. Modern.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Starting it from scratch and now being able to compete with the best in the business!!!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book every supplier early, even if we're not the ones for you. Your favorite will end up snapped up by someone else and you only get one chance to create the perfect day. Make sure it's with the suppliers you want the most.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A groom creating a DVD of himself singing a song to his bride to be, which was played on the morning of their wedding as she got ready. Their 6 month old son was also in the video, fast asleep in a car seat wearing a green dinosaur outfit. The guy could actually sing and he learned to play the guitar for the song too.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After initial contact, a meeting is arranged where we discuss the wedding day and we get a feel of what you want on your day. You can view our sample albums and see if our style and personality is what you want. After that we discuss packages, albums and budget. The consultation is no obligation. You have to be sure we're the right ones for you. If you decide to take it further than we will contact you again to go through what's needed to secure the booking.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Don't end the night with your first dance photos. End it with a final 'wow' image of you in the dark (in most cases)in front of your venue. It will really finish the day off once you look back on it.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Silhouettes are always beautiful but silhouettes of the bride and groom while the bridal party are all lit with flash is unique!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
A brolly! We still love to take photos in the rain and it's surprising what can be achieved with a willing couple. Some of the most romantic photos have been taken in the rain.
Describe how you got into photography.
Photography is art. It's all we've ever wanted to do. For us it was a no brainer!
