What about your business are you most proud of?
As a husband and wife team we've photographed over 1000 weddings, always together, loving every minute with just as much enthusiasm and passion now as we did when we started 15 years ago.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't loose sight of what's important.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A unique personalised Lego character for EVERY single guest, used as part of the table plan. They even made us, complete with cameras and camera bags, must have taken days to put together but was so tastefully done, just love the amount of effort put in.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We always ask potential couples to spend a little time looking through our website to get a feel for what we do, learn a little about us and our stye of photography. We like to then either meet potential couples either in person, via zoom or even have just a quick telephone chat if we can before booking. It's so important to make sure we're able to offer what a couple is looking for in terms of style and coverage. Some couples just want to book us straight away to secure the date and then meet up or have a chat a bit further down the line, with the busy lives people lead that's fine with us too.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
One with all the people you both love the most
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Probably the posed family photos around the hospital bed, bride had new born baby on one arm and bouquet in the other.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Just keep smiling, rain only causes a problem if you let it.
Describe how you got into photography.
We found something that we loved to do and built our business around it.
