"I've been fortunate enough to capture many beautiful and memorable weddings throughout my career. Each wedding is unique and special in its own way, making it difficult to choose just one standout memory. However, I do recall a particular wedding where the couple opted for an outdoor ceremony surrounded by nature's stunning backdrop. The lighting was perfect, and the couple's love and joy radiated throughout the day. It was truly a magical experience, and I felt honoured to be there to capture their special moments.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
My style of photography can be described as documentary, candid, natural, unobtrusive, and artistic. I believe in capturing real moments as they happen, without intervening or directing the action. This approach allows me to preserve the authenticity of each moment and tell a unique story through my lens. I also strive to create images that are not only beautiful but also artistic, using composition, lighting, and creative techniques to add depth and dimension to my work. Overall, my goal is to capture the essence and emotion of each event while providing a timeless and artistic representation of my clients' most cherished memories.

As a photographer, there are many aspects of my business that I take great pride in, but if I had to pick one, I would say it's the satisfaction of my clients. Hearing positive feedback and seeing the joy on their faces when they receive their images is truly priceless. My number one wedding planning tip for couples is to plan a wedding that reflects their unique personalities and style. It's important to remember that this day is all about the couple and celebrating their love story, so they should feel free to make choices that are meaningful to them. Whether it's choosing a nontraditional venue or incorporating family traditions into the ceremony, couples should feel empowered to do things their way. This will not only make the planning process more enjoyable but also help create a truly unforgettable wedding day experience that they will cherish for a lifetime.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
As a wedding photographer, I have had the privilege to witness many unique and personal touches at weddings. One of my favourite things is when couples write their own vows or speeches to each other. It adds a personal and emotional element to the ceremony that often moves not only the couple but also their guests. Another great personal touch is when couples incorporate their furry friends into the wedding day. Seeing dogs dressed up in bow ties or flower collars never fails to bring a smile to my face, and it's a fun way to include them in the celebration. Overall, it's always heartwarming to see couples add personal touches that reflect their personalities and love story, making the day even more special and memorable for everyone involved.

My typical process with a couple begins with an initial consultation where we discuss their vision, preferences, and expectations for their wedding day. This consultation is free of charge and helps me understand their specific needs and desires. After the consultation, I will send them a tailored quote and contract, which outlines all the services that I will provide to them on their big day. Once they have reviewed and agreed to the quote, they can secure their wedding date by signing the contract and paying a booking fee.
From there, I keep in touch with the couple throughout the planning process, sending them regular updates and next steps to ensure everything runs smoothly. I aim to make the experience as stress-free as possible for couples by providing guidance and support in the planning process, and by being available to answer any questions they may have along the way. Ultimately, my goal is to provide them with a positive and seamless experience and capture beautiful images that they will cherish for a lifetime.

I believe that every couple should have a photo of themselves on their wedding day as newlyweds. This image captures the joy, love, and excitement of the moment and serves as a timeless reminder of their special day. However, there are also other photos that I recommend every couple take, such as a family portrait with parents, siblings, or grandparents, as well as candid shots of them with their guests and bridal party. These images help document the people who shared in their celebration and create an even more comprehensive visual story of their wedding day. Overall, my goal is to work closely with the couple to understand their unique preferences and ensure that we capture all the special moments, both big and small, that they will treasure for years to come.

However, as a photographer, I believe that there are many ways to create beautiful images on a wedding day, regardless of the weather. Rain can actually add a romantic and intimate element to photos, and with the right techniques, we can capture stunning moments even in the wettest conditions. Whether it's finding creative covered locations for outdoor shots or utilising indoor spaces with natural lighting, there are plenty of options available that can help us create timeless and beautiful photos.

I have always had a passion for photography, which started as a hobby many years ago. I was fascinated by the ability to capture moments and emotions through the lens of a camera and loved experimenting with different techniques and lighting. As my skills developed, I started to receive more requests to photograph friends' and family members' events, which eventually led to me pursuing photography as a career. Over time, I refined my craft and developed my unique style, which focuses on capturing candid, natural, and timeless images that tell a story. Photography has been an integral part of my life for many years and continues to inspire and motivate me every day.
