What is your most memorable wedding?
All weddings are memorable in different ways
What about your business are you most proud of?
Being able to adapt from the film era to the digital era and still create lovely memories for clients to cherish for many years.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book early and look for the style of photographer that suits your personalities. Enjoy the preparation for your wedding and love the day when it arrives
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Meet to discuss options and to view our range of albums and products that are available. We complete a questionnaire to establish what the clients want from us and to ensure that we have a greater understanding of what the clients expect from us. We offer a pre-wedding shoot session to ensure that the clients are comfortable working with us and to help pose the couple to reduce their nerves on their big day.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Living in Swansea it usually rains, so we are prepared in the event that we need to either shoot the photographs in the church or the reception. We have up to date modern studio lights and can arrange to set them up if required.
Describe how you got into photography.
Started when I was about 13 years old ( some 42 years ago) when my parents bought me a Pentax K1000 which was a totally manual film camera which allowed me to learn the basics of photography such as manual metering and focusing. This developed into taking a friends wedding when I was about 19 years old and I then started taking bookings which resulted in over 30 weddings a year in around 1990.
