What is your most memorable wedding?
To me, every single LOVE story I tell is truly memorable. Honestly, I can't pick just one. I get to know my couples so well that many of them become good friends so choosing just one is very difficult. I'm so fortunate of being so close to people who are madly in love and documenting their love story is such a gift.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Exquisite, Emotional, Creative, Natural, Artistic
What about your business are you most proud of?
My customer service, period. Handling many couples and different types of wedding requires to be very organised. To me, it isn't enough just to be one of the best wedding photographers. The most important thing about my business is not the photography but the experience my couples have with me... and then, when they see their beautiful and emotional wedding images featured in a magazine or just in their stunning Queensberry Album they realise what I meant when we met for the first time.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do what you want, don't listen to people who tell you that you have to do this or that because is "traditional". Come on, it's your wedding day! Also, find a bossy bridesmaid or best man and delegate things to them. If you go to my blog you will find lots of helpful tips. And I mean, truly helpful after shooting many wedding and seeing what works and what doesn't.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
To be honest, what I always ask my couples is to not get lost in planning a lot of little things because the day goes by so quickly and the most important thing is to enjoy the day. The most beautiful wedding touch is just to see that the couple is madly in love and see that they're having the best day of their lives.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First I meet them in person and I listen to all their requirements. Then, when they decide to commission me the experience starts. We come up with the perfect location for their Engagement Session which means the world for them, we work on the timeline and we personalise their stunning wedding album. After the wedding when they see their images for the very first time we decide what pictures to include in their album and we watch their slideshow which tells the story of their wedding day. And years after their wedding I will be here for them, as I always am for every couple I worked with.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Not just a photo but an engagement session. To me, it's a must and for my couples is mandatory and always included in all my experiences/packages. The engagement session will probably be the first time you work with a pro photographer and especially if you're shy is the best way to be sure that you will be relaxed during your wedding day. After the engagement session when you see your images and realise how easy it was will make you forget about me during the wedding day... actually, you will not see me much during the wedding, that's how I create all my images.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
When a groom entered the ceremony with the whole Star Wars movie crew.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Nothing, just enjoy your wedding day. The weather doesn't matter at all.
Describe how you got into photography.
I wanted to be a sound engineer. But waiting a couple of years to be accepted into a very prestigious organisation in Spain I got the opportunity to start a photography course (back in the day, with analogue cameras, film, dark room...). And since then I've been completely obsessed and in LOVE with photography.
