Describe your typical process with a couple.
Whether it be a website or social media enquiry we firstly thank all couples for their enquiry and check our availability.
If we are available we send our company information brochure through with our pricing guide.
We always get the pricing out of the way at the first point of contact, we find this helps as everyone is on a budget of some constraints. This enables us to find the clients who are in our price point.
Without exception, we like to have some form of meeting with all our couples before booking, this is not only beneficial for our clients but also for us too.
If possible we meet them in their home environment, we realise due to location this is not always an option, in this case we offer a Skype/facetime meeting.
We love our couples meetings, its a great way to get an idea of two peoples ideas and dreams, what their expectations are, and why their wedding photography is so important to them.
When a couple have confirmed their booking and all the legalities are out of the way, the fun stuff starts.
We like to friend all our couples on Facebook, the reason for this is as follows. We love to get an insight into our couples lives and see what makes them tick, we like them to have the same viewpoint of us too. We find this an absolute essential way of breaking down the client barrier and enabling them to feel they know us.
With them as part of the family, this in turn enables us to shoot more relaxed photos on their wedding day as that barrier has been broken.
The biggest compliment we receive is our couples always feel so relaxed with us, apart from both our very laid back personalities there is also a lot of background work that goes into this.
Facebook is also a great tool for planing, we set up group chats with the bride (not the groom) so she can send any info across to us relevant to her big day, photos of styling, dresses planning etc (the reason we don’t include the groom in this is so he doesn’t see any wedding dress photos.
Again this is a great way for the bride to feel “involved” and we are a big part of their day.
The whole process is geared towards us being “friends” with our couples, we strongly believe our relaxed, natural, documentary style is a testament to this.
The amount of couple who stay personal friends with us after we have finished their wedding journey is also a great compliment and sometimes quite humbling.
